This one shouldn't be too hard to find. Just look for the hightest peak. Maybe. Enjoy.

Yes, it's a marketing thing, and, no, you'll never see this aircraft in Flight, but.... Seems to me folks who post here might enjoy this. http://www.newairplane.com/787/dreampass/

I really need to chop those da... *diddely* alaskan trees. On almost every airport/airfield there are trees in the approach path of the runway. I don`t mind on small airfields in the bush where you fly in with a Cub. But on big airport where you sometimes have to rely on radio navigation it`s disappointing. I did a job winter, night and dense fog. Flying from McCarthy to Yakutat. To land at Yakutat i had to use ILS on rwy 11 due to dense fog. Just when the runway came in sight i hit some trees that were standing right in the Glide Slope Path. These are the moments when i hate this unfinished part of software... If they just could fix some major iss…

Hi, I have recently built a new PC, installed Windows 8 and then tried to install Microsoft Flight. After downloading the full 1.8Gb package and starting the install it gave me an error message and terminated - very frustrating. Has anyone else had this experience and found a solution, or if not could you offer me any advice that could help me get it installed. I loved MS Flight when I tried it recently so i'm really keen to get a solution. I really appreciate your input. Regards Peter

I just did a Clandestine job over the mountains at the dead of night, in the game as well as in real life. It really shows how tiredness can affect your judgement and why there are strict guidelines for airline pilots (any pilots!). Several times I had to shake my head to stay awake , my eyes sore from the struggle. It would be dangerous for anyone to fly if they were as tired as me that`s for sure! I only just made it over a couple of the mountains, even touching down the wheels as I went over the top! I also found it very difficult to judge how high I was off the ground over the glaciers as there was no visual indications like trees to help out. And as I was flying…

Looks like a long flight to collect this one. Similar to McCall Glacier. Enjoy. Sorry. I spelled it wrong. I guess my fingers were faster than my brain.

This dredge is "Historic" so we've got to see it. Naturally due to this recognition, I'll make sure I read about it. Should make for an interesting read as I'm always interested in aerocaches that have some historic significance. This should be a new area for me also. Enjoy.

Last week my Watercooled i7 monster blew up! This was all caused by the graphics card springing a leak (I kid you not) this left me without any means of flying. This was not a good place to be. What to do? Build a new one or buy one? I opted for option 2 due to lack of time and patience in researching and mail order and sticking it all together and it all working first time out the box with no tears. After 3 days of watching the green or blue (which was a welcome change) progress bar. A certain simulator is fully up and running now to do the easy one... Flight. Guess what? I have just given up as my brain is progress barred out. Although I have downloaded a…

Since I am not a real pilot or flying for an airliner, I see no reason to take a direct route anywhere. It is more interesting to explore and see the sights, check out the places where people don't normally go. The Girdwood Aerocache was located in a place where I had already flown and landed, specifically when headed towards Whittier, so I decided it was better to start my flight at Hope, head into the back country to explore the valleys and see the mountains, before getting to Girdwood. What an inspiring sight! On a whim, I decided to head down to Summit Lake, not too far. There it is up ahead, may as well land…

You know, like when the pilot is flying in the real bush and the landing strip is on the side of a hill and goes up to the top. I like that. So, I was flying South of the Fairbanks area and came upon Greg'n Sage. What a surprise! The landing is up the side of a hill. I love it! Unfortunately, it turns out that is not the landing strip at all. In fact, I can't figure out what it is. But, I enjoyed landing there a lot. Still, it is an outstanding accomplishment by the guys at MGS that terrain details like this that really exist (I checked on Google!) are faithfully reproduced in Flight. …

After picking up the Flat aerocache I took a clandestine job from Indian Mountain to American Creek of 81.9 miles. I flew straight there climbing all the way and arriving at 11,000 + feet. No sign of the law so I started a power descent to the runway, once I found it. Nothing there, not even a windsock, just lots of tall trees. Like most clandestine flights, a very desolate place.

The northernmost tip of Alaska. I flew here early on so I shouldn't have a lot of trouble finding this one. Of course, with everything frozen, It might be a little tough to tell where the land ends and the ocean begins. Enjoy.
