Found something very interesting, when extracting the pak files in the flight installation directory i noticed that in sim objects there is a airplane simply named Delta, along with some other interesthing things. Anybody know how to enable stuff like this?

I am using a Logitech G11 gaming keyboard on this Win7x64 PC where I have Flight running. This keyboard has a built in volume knob at the top center of the keyboard. When I decrease the game volume with the knob, I have no problems. But for some reason if I use the knob to increase the game volume, it immediately switches any airplane's engine off, and cycles the landing gear (if I am off the ground).Has anyone else seen this issue?The game seems to run OK now aside from this problem.

Hey guys,I'm actually really enjoying flight, but my rudder flips around like crazy and it's hard to point my plane in one direction. I am using the CH rudder pedals, which work pretty well with the other sims.I checked all the key bindings, and there's nothing else assigned to this control surface, so I can't figure out the problem. Is there a place to put in a null-zone?Any help would be appreciated...

Good day, I have downloaded and Installed Flight three times now, and all I get is a mission to fly around hot air ballons. As soon as I start Flight I go right ot the ballon mission. If I hit Esc, I get some options but the ones I want, are ghosted out such as Map, or Exit Mission.I have no main menu, with a map mentioned in the Avsim review.Is that all there is to Flight?Hope you can help, Bob.

Thats just this evening after I installed it on my home rig.First up - performance : excellentI have a Q9550 on an Asus P5Q deluxe, with an Nvidia GTX275, and 16GB ram. Not a new machine, certainly not even medium these days. FSX for me is usually 15fps, I am happy at 25fps.Flight? It recommended low for my PC - tried that - silky smoooooth!Tried medium - silky smoooooth! Wah? The autogen at medium in Flight is already better than what I can run FSX at!Tried high - smooth. This evening, as I often do, I visited the MSN Games web site, as I enjoy playing a certain board and dice game with others that like to play the same game. Lo and behold, can anyone guess what "game" MS is promoting through it's "Featured Games" window? Yep, that's right, right with "Papa's Taco Mia!", and "Luxor Evolved", you too can: "Take to the skies in the all new Microsoft Flight."I got the biggest laugh of the evening and went on to play my board and dice game.

I just want to make sure I have this 100% right. As I understand it from the Avsim review, there is not equivalent of the gamepack that came with MS2K 2K2 9 and 10. I take that to mean that developers cannot create add-ons such as aircraft, airports, weather management, ATC, etc..? Is this correct? Am I also correct in concluding that this means VATSIM will not be able to use Flight?These are straight questions, not commentary. Seriously asking.

Anyone have a successful one??... so far I've tried a few variations on my FSX profile and am getting serious stuttering and odd issues when the viewing plane is level with clouds... example of that:

Check out flightgear. From my INITIAL impressions of Flight!, I think the two are similar. Both are free, great frame rates. What about content? I think a comparison of the two would show that flightgear offers a lot more "for the money". What are your thoughts?

Finally installed the game after 3 network installation failures with windows live installer.Im running an I7 2630QM with a 3GB 560M GTX 12gb Ram.I turned all settings and resolution to max.The game runs smooth with no hiccups my GPU/CPU didnt even break a sweat on max settings..kudos on the optimization Microsoft.As far as impressionsThe virtual cockpits are nice looking and pan smoothly.The sounds in Flight are much more improved..even have control surface sounds when you move the stick.Graphics wise ...meh besides smooth playability and optimization my modded GEX/REX/UTX/ENB/ FSX makes this game look pretty basic. I feel they could have put more work into ground detail…

I may have just missed this, but for the life of me I cannot find out how to go full screen view in Flight. As in no cockpit, just the dials....I guess it looks like a FPS game view. (used to be "W" in FSX when in cockpit mode "f10").The cockpit is nice and all, but I want to look around Hawaii without going to external view so I can decide if I will buy the rest of the islands.Nothing in the manual, but then its pretty light really.I hope you know what I mean.

Downloaded Microsoft Flight last evening. Required me to succeed at childish tutorial before I could proceed. Then moved on the the most boring scenery I could imagine with very few airports, not a good way to show off your "new and wonderful" graphics. Even those were dim and somewhat colorless. No other flight traffic. Icon is rather simple and lethargic. Few or no aircraft on the ground at airports. Did I mention how unfriendly it was for a newbie to use; easy enough once familiar with it. Not too happy with the numerous times it locked my computer. Had to do a manual shutdown to get it back. Thanks Microsoft but no thanks. I will stick with Orbx and FSX.

Downloaded FLIGHT and the rest of Hawaii. I will also "support" it, and use DLC as we move along. However, like others, when I went back to FSX after about 2 hours of FLIGHT last night, I was struck with how wonderfully "sophisticated" FSX is as a flight simulator. Real Weather is beyond description in FSX Autopilot is so necessary sometimes. When I try to restart Flight, it asks me to sign in to Windows Marketplace. When I try to Create New Account, it tells me my email address is already a Windows Live ID. When I try to sign in with that ID, it rejects my password. When I try to reset the password, it tells me the ID is incorrect!I've searched online about this problem and see many others have encountered it, but I don't see a solution posted out there. Can anyone here help?

Tried out some missions and Flight seems really dumbed down in comparison to FSX. Was looking to set sensitivity and null zones for flight controls and can't locate them if they exist. Can't locate real world weather setting if it exists. Do the L R toe brakes work? Can't believe that the Maule is not as complex as the one for FSX, no autopilot? Anyway to import default FSX planes to Flight. Sim looks pretty, I'll fly the rest of the free activities before deciding whether to buy any DLC. DLC could really add up if sim is successful and more is even offered. I'm waiting for the next round of DLC before deciding if buying is worthwhile, maybe longer. While waiting to decid…

Are they know cities like honolulu in the free download? If so How do you position yourself there

In free flight mode I can't seem to release the parking brake. Also if I land then try to take off again the brakes seem to be locked on. Any suggestions?I've tried the shift-x to release the parking brakes to no avail.

I can't seem to get Games for Windows installed, much less Flight. It downloads the file, tried to install then tells me it failed. All the support thing tells me is try again.Any idea's.Pc is plenty fast enough, drivers etc updated, win 7 64x,Pieter

I have learned a lot from many of the posts here, and my first hour or so with Flight has been promising. However, one feature that I've not seen referred to here, is the apparent lack of replay ability. I am wondering if the deletion of this feature is one of the reasons for the smooth performance of the simulation, so it may be a sensible tradeoff. However, I really enjoy replaying some of my flights, especially approaches and landings. This feature was best implemented in FS2004, where you could even reposition of point of observation. Just wondering if I am missing this feature, and are others also wishing it would be replaced?

Hello Just download MS Flight today and did the first two lessons, very happy and looking forward to exploring more, however I'm prompted for a product key when trying to use the Stearman from the Hanger!I signed in as my normal "LandedBox0030" after I sign in it prompts me for a product key! It says the Stearman is free, so what I am I doing wrong?!

What I mean how far is FLIGHT going to evolve. Will it go beyond the Hawian Islands like to the mainland and europe. Will it go beyond simple private aircraft and evolve into commercial aircraft equal to PMDG/iFly?Or is this it.?BTW I made it past my mandatory lessons, I am disappointed in the texture quality in the cockpit the guages look fuzzy.Randy

Please be aware that the usual sites are already proposing a "crack" for Microsoft FlightFlight, the base module, is free to fly. There is no need for a crack at all.Only the extra content, the DLC, requires licensing.So, obviously, any crack for Flight itself is some sort of malware. You will have only yourself to blame for the consequences if you download and install any crack for Flight.Best regards.Luis
