Dear PMDG,I just bought the J41 (and also the MD-11 for FSX). I would like to congratulate everyone at PMDG for the very beautifull rendition of the J41 aircraft. Hello.I'm getting errors when loading the J41 as depicted in the attached. This is VERSION v1.00.0970 under Vista. I've tried reinstalling with no change.I'm working through the tutorial flight and everything appears to be working.Has anything like this been reported before? Thanks.Jim McKinney

I just saved a flight in the approach phase. However when loading it back the FMC seems turned off, there is also no route in the EHSI lateral mode.Or is there a special way we must save / load flights?Thank you!Cristi

I am getting sever stutter ounce everything is up and running in the jetstream? All fine running about 25-30fps prior to engine start the after it stutters baddly. Here are my system specsI am using SD panel. But full animations. Also I cannot open the J41 config manager anymore after installing some paints. First,congratulation for this airplane,but i have noticed the lack of traffic simbol in the map display.I see traffic only when I press the key t-cas but when switch to map mode the traffic disappear.It'normal ? :( Naturally i have before set RMU in TA1 mode.Many thanksCristiano

Hello, maybe I'm the only one but I can start an engine and I can see the EGT rise up. Then the RPM of the engine stay at 15% the plane moves a little as of the probs spool up but I don't hear the sound. The engine keeps on starting till it or burst in flames or till I stop the engine. Then I can only start a engine two times then I can push the button and then nothing. No start sounds or changes in rpm and EGT> Then if I get an engine started, I can only start one, the second engine (L or R) can't start. One time I had both the engines running and then after the smaal test flight and shut none of them will ever start again. Then after exiting the flight FSX crashes. A…

Hey, I just wanted to check, no-one else can taxi with the gust lock in right? I can't achieve breakaway power with it in, nor can I steer, as there's no independent tiller control.It'd be cool if we could, as that's how it's normally done.

Like many others I cannot get the FMS to come on. The only situation where it would come on is when I load the JS41 From within a default situation. I have searched the forum for possible solutions and followed thoroughly the recommendations about making sure that the fonts are being copied from FSX's Fonts folder to Windows' fonts folder including the glassga.ttf one. Today I spent hours restarting Windows XP, FSX, JS41 from various scenarii (loading default flight, loading a flight with JS41 and the switching to the tutorial flight etc...). Hi again,as iam creating a new fs-passengers payload model regarding the Jetstream 41, (work in progress)i realised that there may be a possible bug with the pmdg loadsheed. It seams that the loadsheet from within the plane is confusing the "Rear cargo" with the "Pod cargo" compartments and vise versa.It would be nice, if someone could confirm or disagree about that.Also, would it be possible to place passengers automatically, acording to the regarding station weight, into their seats and update the loadsheet ? This would be very nice, so we could watch passengers filling the plane from outside, as fs-passengers is boarding the plane :)Best regardsJ

What a superb product - thankyou! After destroying a few engines I'm starting to manage to fly the J41 confidently and love it to bits! :( However, every single time I close FSX after using it, I get a error warning from Vista saying that FSX isn't responding and it shuts FSX down. I don't ever have this happen when using any other aircraft - only the J41.Specs:Q6600 Quad, Vista 32 bit, 6GB RAM, NVidia GTX260 896MBAny ideas? CheersPeter

Guys l`ve tried soo many times to fly this aircraft and its driving me nuts.. l can start this aircraft up with no problems, then some days l start the engine it goes up then nothing. it doesnt click in ready to start the next engine. l`ve check to make sure it l have all the switch in the right direction but it just doesnt want to start.l`ve had a few flights with no problems now all of a sudden l`m having problems with starting the engine hehehe.l have a lot of respect for PMDG but l must be missing something, what could it be.anyone had this same problem, l`m sure l`m missing something. l`ve always started this with a cold and dark cockpit. when l get things ready fmc …

Last night I was on autopilot climbing to ALT SEL with IAS set to 170, engines set to 98% RPM, when I realised that I forgot to increase power so that the EGT needle moves from the lower white hash mark to the upper one.At that time my climb rate was 1000FPM. The power increase did not also increase the autopilot climb rate. Isn't that curious?Neither the climb rate nor the IAS changed in the process.

Hi folks,Like many of you, I'm amazed by the quality of the latest JS41 aircraft modelled by PMDG. :( However, when I bring up the speed cards over the center pedestal, they appear to be completely black. I can't flip them or close them. All other systems seem to work fine. I'm running FSX on Vista32. Anybody has this trouble?Chris.

I just did a short hop from liverpool to newcastle. Started from cold and dark. No trouble starting engines. Set up FMS with just one waypoint and no SID or STAR. Almost crashed on descent as I forgot to arm hltitude hold :). But no problems apart from that. Aircraft captured glideslope without problems. Great landing on my part. It is a bit different than other planes but I just have to get used to it, overall I'm happy.Just one question. When I start from dark and cold cessna the props are feathered. I use unfeather before starting engines and it works fine. But how do I keep them unfeathered for longer? I thought putting into reverse and then unfeathering will engege t…

First let me say I love the new PMDG J-41. I used to fly a J-31 many moons ago, and the -41 is the closet thing to a real turbo-prop for FSX anywhere. Well done to the PMDG team!My questions is:How do I change the fuel load in the thing?I change the fuel to what I want in FSX, but it does not agree with the fuel gauges in the J-41 or the amount in the FMS.I.E.> FSX = 2060 and J-41 & FMS = 2942.If it is possible to change the fuel within the FMS I have not figured out how...except to allow the 800# for reserve.It seems stuck on 2942.Any ideas?Thank you,Jerry
