I has some question about FMC set. If load in-fly file J41 to somewhere,every set was reserved,such as remain fuel.But FMC was turn off. And i make same flight plan as same last FP. When engage LNAV then J41 get wrong way..not follow LNAV track. Has some wrong with my process set? And has the other question,i not make complete flight plan then take off,now i entry some waypoint (VOR NDB )in flight.In NAV function screen has correct information such as FR DIRECT TO MQD then engage LNAV J41 not follow set track,just like before question. (no any track line and waypoint in EHSI) Has any suggest?

Hi guys....I thought I'd put up a message with a solution rather than a problem. I have been successfully running MD11 and 747-400 without trouble. I recently purchased the J41 and I couldn't get it running no matter what I did. It would crash FSX on the Free Flight page whenever I loaded the aircraft. After check this, check that, uninstall, reinstall (over and over), experimenting with graphics setting etc etc etc I finally figured it out.I was loading another complex aircraft as a default whenever FSX starts. Switching it back to a trusty C172 fixed everything. I can now run this ship with very high settings and decent frames. My apologies if this solution has already …

Hi Guys,Installed SP1, uninstalled repaint, reinstalled newly downloaded ones, external aircraft no problems, but when in VC I get these graphical anomalies flashing across the screen, flip out to external view, no problems. I have latest nvidia drivers installed. Any ideas, as it is now unflyable.Thanks for your time!

Hello,I've been using the J41 for a while now and I'm very satisfied with it, it's a very good product.I have recently upgrade my hardware with a saitek X52 pro+pro pedal+ throttle quadrant.I don't know if it has something to do with the fact that the auto pilot now keeps switching off as soon as I switch it on, or a little bit later.I use the IAS+VS mode to reach assigned altitude and HDG on too.I have my elevation trim on one of the two rotative off the saitek throttle.The rudder has the sensibility setted according to saitek's manual, rest of sensibilty is FSX default.What could be the reason of such behaviour ?Thank you very much.Loic

Hello Again Gents ------Well, been researching and testing for a number of hours, and cannot get TCAS to function in my new J41. Am I missing something?I did all the recommended settings and variations of settings, and no joy. If TCAS is non-functional on the J41, could someone let me know please.If this is the case, I hope that TCAS II appears in an upcoming update, because for me, in the areas I fly, it is a MUST HAVE.Anyway, please let me know --- :( Thanks!!!!!!

Hi all,I just purchased the J41 form PMDG.Everything seems to work fine, but one thing i cant figure out...When i am flying in LNAV, it works great, but i never see any frequencies changing.(in RMI that is )on page 64 of the aom (taxi checks) it says :1)Unless VHF navigation is required for departure, set NAV 1 and NAV 2 to AUTOTUNE..My question, where exactly can i change the navs to autotune or manual tune. And is it the same autotune as the pmdg747 where it just tunes to the right VORs and even ILS??Thanks in advance (srry for english if wrong)

Good day, I am a licensed owner of both the PMDG 1900D and the Aeroworx B200. After taking a hiatus from both aircraft for a few years to concentrate on the flight1 C172R, I've recently gone back to flying the 1900D. I'm presently doing a few panel upgrades (already re-installed the Reality Xp Jetline 2 package). I also installed a nice GPWS gauge found here on Avsim. To further add to the realism, I tried to install the altitude alert gauge from the Aeroworx B200 in place of the KingAir!Altimeter_Selector that comes standard with the PMDG B1900D. I've just installed and registered my BAe JS4100 and tried to fly it - but the engines keep exploding. I've tried to choose no engine fires in the config manager, but every time I hit save and exit and then restart the config manager the fires option is ticked to allow fires. Starting to get pi**ed off with this. What's going on???

Ok, this is odd...If I select ENG anti ice to on, I get the usual 'slump' in engine performance which is expected. However, when switched off, performance is not restored!I thought it was just me, but the other day I decided to test full power after landing, and with the power levers 'firewalled', the engines would not generate more than 80% torque. Similarly, with the condition levers set to flight, and the power levers in FULL reverse, I was only getting -90% torque. Normally with the power levers in full reverse the torque limit is exceeded and will flash in green.I just ran another test flight. I operated the engine anti ice and immediately lost power. Hello folks,After an OS failure, I had to start from scratch and do a fresh install of os etc. I had/have FSX on a dedicated VRaptor -I had to do a repair on FSX to get it in the new registry. I have reinstalled REX / GEX / UTX / FTX sceneries and all work well.I did a uninstall with Control Panel for the JS4100 that still had folders in FSX on the dedicated drive. (I tried to do a reinstall, but the installer did not have the "remove button" that the readme knows suggested.So, after the uninstall, I still had the two folders in FSX which I manually deleted.I installed and it went well, but never asked for serial numbers etc.The JS4100 will load up in FSX, however, no …

I have a strange problem whereby I cannot successfully start engine 1.Here's what I've been doing...I check that the prop is on the start locks, the condition levers are at 'taxi' and that the power levers are at 'ground/start'. I select the start master to 'left' and press the start switch. The engine rotates, I get fuel flow followed by light-off and the RPM starts to accelerate. At 60% RPM I get starter cut-out, the start master flicks back to 'air'. Then, for some reason I cannot work out, the engine immediately shuts down! Hello fellow forum browsers, Today I took the J41 out of my virtual hangar for a spin just in eastern Quebec... When I got my engines up and running I noticed while looking strait ahead in the VC there was no noise from the enines, I have tried increasing engine sounds under sound tab, and nothing happened... Also this happens with several other aircraft and sometimes occurs on certain outside views... Thanks,Steve Roberts

Well after using the Lua files for more then a year I got the idea, Why not use a lua file for a checklist. End of day I turned to Guenseli for some advice and he told me how to do this simple procedure. More elaborate checklists are possible where you can even have the lua check the parameters to ensure you have completed the step before allowing you to continue. that is for a next project however. First off I do not own FS9. After creating a fake FS9 directory I managed to get her (B1900D) installed and even downloaded an additional livery which also worked fine. My question now deals with V1.2 update. Have downloaded and tried to update using the same fake directory without any luck. Update installer does not like my fake directory??Any ideas, help, much appreciated.Dave

next question =)i got myself the mcp combo panel from vrinsighti found several post with people quite happy about itand also a post with additional lua key commands via fsuipcon this forumbut what aircraft do you guys choose in serial fp2?ive updated fsuipc and also have the newest version of serial fp2(both installed under administrator priviledges)but several things wont work on the combo panel eg. ap heading,enable/disable autopilotand if i want to set keycommands for buttons through fsuipcit seems that fsuipc wont register the button pressi can press arround on all buttons and nothing happenesbut if i press a button in a throttle quadrant from saitek it works instantl…

Hi there, I have been reading the J41 manuals and reading forum posts, as well as watching videos. I've done all that any of them say to do, yet I get an unsilencable Takeoff Config Warning horn when throttle is applied. (Yes, start locks removed, condition levers flight, flaps set, trim set, yada yada yada. I thought it was the trim but tried adjusting it and it didn't help the horn. As well, I am unable to use LNAV, again, after setting the FMC and systems correctly. I use the Cold and Dark LUA, as I'm unable to start the engines otherwise. the NAV switch is inop. Just downloaded the j41 from PMDG. When i select the aircraft in FSX it says i need an activation code. I didn't get an activation code or can't find one. When i load the aircraft in the sim it says "Unregistered version will not perform as expected" and the MFD don't work, but everything else seems to be fine.If anyone else has encounted this or knows of a fix that would be greatI have the update installed as well

Hello,Very happy with my new J41. I just wonder if it is possible to direct all sounds (engine and cockpit) to speakers? I am using headsets and if I set headset as default audio device then cockpit sounds will go to headset while engines go to speakers, no matter what I specify at FS sound settings.Thanks.
