PMDG Turboprops (Legacy Versions)

No changes to any files that I know about but I no longer get any call-outs (flaps 9, 70 knots, etc). Can someone tell me how to fix it? I have checked .cfg files and several folders, but see no reference to him ( couldn't even find his .wav files).

In trying to get Mr. Spock off the co-piot seat, I added myself instead. I also got rid of Captain Kirk.

Tis is a veary stupid question how can i refuel the j41.

Hi everyone. I am fresh off the newbie list and must apologise if this is the wrong place to post but here it goes...LOVE the J41 and have already re-painted with FS Repaint but here's my question:After flying for about 1hr, tje ground starts to black out in segments and in VC, the instrument panel goes completely grey....then "your computer has run out of memory" but on my performance monitor I'm showing @ 2.5 GB of 4GB RAM being used. Am I just overtaxing my system and or would more memory solve the problem...I know more memory would help ME, but leave that to my doctor!Thanks Jim Heslop

Anyone using the PMDG 1900D w/ Reality XP Jetline 2 and GNS 530WAAS gauges? How do you like it? Can you post a screenshot w/ the add-on gauges. I'm setting up FS2004 on my Mac (bootcamp) and looking to purchase PMDG 1900D w/ those addon gauges.Todd

Has anyone encountered this problem, and is there a solution to it? Apparently you can see the words "No Push", so there is something ther at the front of the nose, but the rest is clear see through and nothing else.

G'day everyone.Just thought I'd say G'day, as I've just jumped on board the PMDG JS41 'owners club'. I'm very pleased with the 'Bird' so far. She is a beautiful aircraft and it has certainly given me a new challenge. One that I will probably take a long time to master -- if ever (the grey matter is not what it use to be!).My congratulations to the team at PMDG for doing a fantastic job with the JetStream 4100.I'm looking forward to many flights with it.Thanks to everyone here at the forums also for so much helpful information. Hello Simmers,at first - sorry for my english what isn´t my native language.Since a few days i get a CTD when try to setup the PMDG Jetstream4100.Let´s this explain:-run fsx (as admnin always)-load default flight, Air Creation at Friday Harbor (in the air)-then load flight "PMDG BAe JS4100 Tutorial 1 at KHPN"-switch on the ammeter check knob to battery then to Emerg/GPU - all is fine til now-switch left and right batteries to ON and GPU ON - still everything seems to be o.k.- push the Mute button on CAP Panel - looks o.k.BUT NOW-try to switch the first avionics power switch (left) to ONAND FSX immediately freezes for a second and disappeares without any restart or error m…

I'm not sure if anyone else has painted this livery, but I couldn't find it for PMDG, so I've decided to paint it and release it this week.

I have just installed the Jetstream 4100 and i find when i change the widescreen setting in the fsx config file to true the screen flashes . Regards james

Hi!If for any reason the engine doesn't start (i haven't figured out why is sometimes doesn't start) with the automatic option and the engine get too hot to try again in perhaps 10-15 minutes, what are the options? In the manual it suggested that you could do a manual start but never how it was done. Is it simulated and in that case how do i do? Best wishesMats

Evening all, I have installed the above add on livery & it shows as installed in the configuration files as livery 3 - BUT - It does't display on the JS41, the A/C stays in the default pmdg livery. I did change the config file order to livery 1 & indeed, my BA livery duly appeared - BUT - I experienced one engine fire after another ( Wierd - I know !) I reverted back to my original setting of livery 3 & there are no problems starting whatsoever. Would any know how to correct this situation ( I'm lost without my Speedbird colours :( ). …

I have been using the J41 since its release and it has been a great add-on, particularly with the addition of FS2Crew Voice command. Several days ago I tried to fly the J41 and it was not possible to use any of the pop-up windows (no click spots, no wheels). I tried re-installing but no dice. Since FSX started running very slow and not loading correctly, I thought that there may have been a problem with FSX. After doing a re-install of FSX the problem was not corrected - as a matter of fact it got worse. Since I was planning to upgrade from XP Pro 32 bit to Win 7 32 bit, I thought that this would be a good time to do it. I just installed the new OS and installed FSX…

I've noticed that none of the liveries light up at the tail end, is that correct or not?

guess I did not post this here yet but now it is about time as it just happend again. my JS causes a CTD under win7 ultimate 64b under (few) certain circumstances which are if I use the FMC in a specific way. just did the following 5 mins ago: takeoff at EDDM, heading 300 at FL160 into EDDF. Then I decided to setup the FMC due to bad weather approaching. if I remember correctly I first selected approach, entered EDDF and hit ENTER. Then I selected RUNWAY on the FMC and 26R, followed by ENTER again. Then the STAR PSA3A and ENTER again and then the sim decided to freeze, ending in a win7 like CTD (except that I chose not to restart FSX).any idea why this CTD happens? my onl…

Hello,I have just purchased the JS41 and am learning how to.....After blowing up the engines twice, forgot to set the cond levers to flight, I was ready totake off.I said to myself it is better to save the situation when at the start of the runway, so I do not have to go through all agin the next time.Alas, loading the saved flight didn't show the FMS loaded withe the flight.I have read all about starting the FSX in the correct manner, but it all doesn't make a difference.By the way I always start the FSX in the tradional standard way.I do not have any troubles with any other aircraft of PMDG or any other aircraft for that matter.Does someone still have some other trick f…

Hi Guys:Quick question just picked up js4100 very nice but one question there doesn't seem to be much shine or reflection on this bird any settings for this, I have reflections at 1 in fsx config also running xp pro on q9650 and an evga gtx580, thank you. I am attempting to repair the J41 because I am sufferring CTDs again with the same cause as before (gauge issue). I am reinstalling the main J41 package and clicking repair, do I need to do this for each repaint? I have checked and search the CTD issues of the past, my included, and I cannot seem to come up with a cause. As you can see if you search under CTDs you will find previous CTD issues. I have repaired the J41 before but ended up uninstalling and reinstalling. If that is the case do I need to do it for all the repaints I have? Tks.

I was just wondering if any of you repaint wizards out there would like to make a Penair repaint for the J41. I'd like it to resemble the Saab 340 livery that Penair uses. If you are able (and willing), one of the "special" liveries would be awesome, but I guess they take a lot of work to do...Hope someone's interested :).Look for reg. Lately it's been hard to keep the JS41 in place. I follow the startup procedure to the T. After engines start, the aircraft tends to roll forward. It happens with the parking brake on or off with max braking applied. My condition levers are in taxi mode. I know last night when I flew it there was freezing rain, but I have had a few other flight where it was dry and this happened. Any suggestion or comments?Thank youBryan Bernatek

There are three features that appear in the AOM as if they should work in our J41, but they've never worked on mine. Here they are. Is it just my machine or have others found the same?1. The green and white panel lights indicating who is Pilot or Co-pilot. They should only present one of each at any time: one person being Pilot, the other Co-pilot. When you toggle the switches on my J41 you only see BOTH as Pilot or BOTh as Co-pilot ...2. At cold and dark startup, the TEST button is (I think) supposed to turn the EHSI into a countdown indicator so you can see when the inertial systems will come alive.
