While on the approach to Manchester EGCC I was following the QDM to RWY 24R which is 235 degs and the runway was perfectly aligned out of the window but on the cockpit map display the runway graphic was approximately 10 degs out. With the extended dotted center line it looked like I was landing from the side slightly. All other airfield runways appear ok. Can someone please tell me where I can check the file for the correct runway alignment for EGCC. I have installed the latest AIRAC 0411 update.Many thanksGlen Coyne

Hi everyone. I think soon I will lose my marbles.Hi hopped out of my 737ng and when I hopped back in I found my glass displays were switched off. I don't do cold and dark and can't find the switch to turn them back on. Can anyone let me in on ther secret please to get them on again.ThanksGraham

I love the PMDG 737. One reason I love it is because as a somewhat advanced simmer, I didn't have to read every bit of fine print in the manual to get the 737's in the air. Unlike one other developer's aircraft model which required way too much study time to get airborne, I was able to get the 737's in the air with relatively minimal time in the books and with a short checklist.Why...Because the panel and FMC, while advanced and state-of-the-art for the FS9 sim world, isn't so complicated, with so many working systems that had to be in place that you couldn't get going. This is a flight sim, not MYST.I would happily suggest that PMDG, and others continue to make panels…

As I type the word "spoiler" I am certain I can actually HEAR a collective and international groan. I know this has been covered a quadzillion times, but I THINK this is a slightly new twist.First: I understand the PMDG method of both arming and deploying the spoilers on the NG. It USED to work well for me. I could deploy the spoilers without fail, either in flight or on the ground, using the "throttle" lever of my CH Flight Yoke mapped to the spoiler axis both within the FS controller setup and in FSUIPC (full version 3.40). I could arm the spoilers in flight without fail by clicking on the spoiler lever in the throttle display of the NG. It all worked, and it worked…

Hi,Can anyone help me and give me tips on how to use the third party fuel planner utility downloadable from the PMDG web-site?For some reason, while entering the trip information, the FL's only start from 290 and upwards. How can I change this? Be great if someone can just give me a complete overview of this tool, since I don't know how to load/select fuel for my 737s as of now..thanks,-Pranav

I have looked for an answer to this because I think someone else had this problem or is it a problem.When I'm taxiing down the taxi-way and press the brakes to slow down just a little, (by this I mean, I just click the brake switch on the joystick 1 time) the whole plane rocks back and fourth (bounces) like I had hit the brakes hard to stop on a dime :-lol Is there some way to make this stop? It makes my first officer and most of pax sick bouncing back and fourth like that all the way to the runway :-erks Any help would really be appreciated. Thank You

Having just purchased FSBuild, I'm now spreading my wings and flying longer flights then usual. Amount of fuel carried hasn't been a problem until now. How do I export information from the Aircraft Load Manager to my 737NG FMC?. Each time that I've entered the info into the ALM and saved it, I've expected that info, especially fuel, to be exported to the FMC! Also, can I use FS9's fuel planner? Step by step assistance would be appreciated. Thanks Marty

Hello fellow pilots looking for a painter that can paint a 737 with winglets for me. Im looking at a real easy paint job. The paint that im looking for is a all white fuselage with red and blue stripes going down the sides of the fuselage up to the top of the tail. And blue and red stripes on the winglets vertical and a tail number of N737BW thats all. If someone is interested in this please send a msg or post one thanks.:-)

I thought I was a reasonably experienced sim pilot until last night. I have never encountered this anomaly before. All of my heading readings, including the compass showed me to be traveling in one direction - say east - and yet I know I was taking off into a setting sun on a runway heading of 250. My FS Nav showed me to be traveling west yet the heading was 180 out. This was in my 736 but it applied to all aircraft. Has anyone else experineced this? If so how do I cure it? I am not aware of making any changes to my set up that would cause this. My only remaining thought is to de-install/re-install but I am trying to avoid that.Paul F.

Is there any way to view the panel in spot plane view? For a while, I have no idea why, when I pressed "0" on the number pad, I was able to see the cockpit. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to get this to work again.

Hello,This may be a dumb question but how do you get FS9 ATC to coincide with the Timothy Metzinger tutorial. I do fine until I get near the airport and ATC starts vectoring me differently than the "Shine Five Arrival". Do I have to go into the flight planner in FS9 and maually put in all the points from the Metzinger flight plan?Another thing is that ATC tells me to land at 36L and not 36R as in the tutorial.When I select 36L in the FMC the so called "new field" RWY EXT does not appear in the FMC KCLT ARRIVALS page.I know ,.. I am not a pilot but I like details :)Thanks,Lance

Hi,I have just doen a test flight is the new 900, and I seem to have a problem with the PFD and ND gauges "sticking".Once the gauge has frozen, I need to switch veiws to get it active again, also whilst the gauge is frozen, the pop-up gauge shows the unfrozen state.Thanks.Danny Watkins

Hi guys -You all finally convinced me to spend the bucks on 737NG - better late than never, huh?So I ordered the thing,stripped computer down to bare necessities - cancelled all security - downloaded file (72184 KB) - Winzip didn't recognize as winzip archive - went deeper into winzip and keep getting this error message -End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not a Zip file, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part Zip fileI have contacted them and we are working the problem (slowly, ever so slowly) but it occurred to me that one of you has been when I am now and therefore has the answer.Any help greatly appreciated...you can have my first bo…

Hello,Is it possible to assign a keyboard key to the keys of the FMC?I can assign a key for the "page selection keys" but what about the others? I have the 600/700 at present which I am very happy with. Am I correct to assume that the 600/700 will undergo some changes if I update to the 800/900? What don't I have in the 600/700 now that would be added with the upgrade?Dave
