Hi there to the development team at PMDG, I am an avid fan of your products and am also anxiously waiting for the PMDG MD-11 for FS2004 to be released. BTW would it be published on AEROSOFT like the PMDG B744 for FS2004 as I plan to purchase the DVD installer here in Singapore as I do not have a credit card and would like to buy the DVD to keep. Hello, I've noticed that my aircraft (PMDG 747-400) is not showing lights reflections on the floor( Runway ,taxiway). I've got SP2 installed. You think that has something to do with it?Thanks for your reply, Kaue

Hi Guys:I have searched forever and far too many responses, not many appropriately related, so am asking here in the hope that someone can help.Im finding the MD11 a touch sensitive to wind shifts and what have you. I was wondering if anyone has the definitive list of what settings to put into ASX, and FSUIPC to get the weather working such that it isnt quite so upsetting to the MD, or the 744 for that matter.CheersPaul

Does anybody know how to operate the doors that FS passengers X sees the doors as open. Using the PMDG keys FSP X still sees the doors as closed.ThanksJohan

I've been trying to use GoFlight MCPPro and EFIS with PMDG Boeing 737 using PMDG interface. Everythings apears to be working well but, after takeoff, I don't succed in conecting A/P Engage.Would it be a personal problem or a PMDG interface problem?Jose Mansilha

I have absolutely no chance of running this program at all. :( The specs call for: Mininimum - 3GHz or multi-core processor, 1GB RAM, WinXP SP2/VistaBest Performance - Dual or Quad Core Processor, 2GB RAM, 512MB Gfx Card, WinXP SP2. MS FSX with Service Pack 2 (or later) installedIt must be way more demanding than the PMDG 747 I was running in FS9. I have a 1.8 gig processor and 2 gigs of ram. This is an absolute bummer.Michael p.

Some advice please! I am not yet ready for VATSIM but would like to get some experience with ATC other than that which comes with FS2004. Preferably it would have a range of voices, compatible with the Queen, interactive and usable in Australia where I live. Any ideas?Gerry

Hi... :( I hope that someone can help me. I have had and flown the PMDG747 (FS9) a number of times.. now, suddenly the Load Manager says that it can't find the MSFS installation. It would let me fly the program, but I keep getting insufficient fuel message. I tried to repair through the Disk, and no luck.. I then uninstalled the B747 and now it won't let me reinstall it b/c it says that MSFS isn't installed. Yet, it is installed. Any idea? If you are saying to reinstall MSFS, I am worried that I might not be able to reinstall the 737 as I downloaded that version from PMDG and don't have the disk.Thanks in advance.Bob LeBoeuf

I posted this on the bleed air thread awhile back. Just curious if the 747 or MD11 for FSX are modeled to simulate ice on flight surfaces or engines when flying in such conditions if anti ice systems are not turned on.John

Despite exporting my FS Build Flight Plans to PMDG and FSX I cannot load them into the MD-11 FMCU.I have sought guidance from the FS Build Forum but, so far, without a reply.However the question was previously answered in that Forum for someone else as follows : "To load the flight plan into the PMDG FMC use the '<b style="color:black;background-color:#ffff66">CO ROUTE' LSK</b>. Enter the Co Route as DEPDEST in the scratchpad (ex KLAXKDFW) then press the '<b style="color:black;background-color:#ffff66">CO ROUTE' LSK</b> to load the flight plan. Great article Robert, I know that even a lot of real world pilots have a hard time fully understanding the AT system and I've seen a lot of "what's it doing now" or "that's not what I wanted" , but I've never said that myself of course... :( The only thing missing is the AT system's behavior in the all important TOGA mode - specifically during the GA phase. I've found that the PMDG 744 does not behave as it should while in the GA mode. The aircraft executes the GA appropriately, as in it goes to the THRUST | TOGA | TOGA | mode, but when reaching the point at which you want to accellerate, it simply will not let you spin the SPD Bug up. I have started doing some night flights on VATSIM and find I cannot taxi properly because I can't see a thing. The 2D panel shows almost zero taxi lights and I cant tell if there is any difference between on or off. The VC is a little better but still extremely porr and I have to darken my room and turn all the lights out just to have a chance. I am sure it can't be this bad in a real 744.Is there anyway to increase the brightness of the lights? I tried the lights from X-Graphics (part of ASX) but it made no difference at all. Had a look at some of the configure files but cant spot anything at all. I don't mind increasing from real life values as at present I can't taxi t…

During my last three flights, towards 2 different airports, I coulnd't autoland: I got the message it was APPR ONLY. No big deal, but I want to be able to autoland! Anyone knows what causes autoland not to work? Is it because of the ILS (does it need something specific)? Or did I do something wrong while planning the STAR? Or are there any other reasons for AUTOLAND not to work? The ILS freq is loaded (automatically) and I did press the appr button: it armed and all is fine but at 1400 ft or so it doesn't turn into DUAL LAND...

When I load the program manager with my cargo and adjust fuel accordingly (best guess), at times the FMC will tell me I don't have enough fuel so I increase it in the Load Manager so that I won't get that message anymore. When I flew today from KOAK to PHNL I landed with about 33,000 lbs of fuel in each tank (started with 175,000 lbs total). I wish I had some afterburners so that I could at least use that fuel up for fun :( . 1. I am sure I am doing something wrong but I can't tell what it is, any assistance would be great thanks. 2. I purchased TOPCAT since I seemed like a nice program and future enhancements to it will require registration. I was wondering what TOPCAT users were doing to get matching numbers in the Pax, cargo, and other fields. I was able to make it close, but there has to be a way that's easy to make the numbers equal. Yes?Also, for landing, how are you guys handling this? I usually fly shorter routes, but you still can't input Wx until close. Are you just exiting the sim to fill it in quickly for this data or what? I know it's not as important, but it's nice to use for landing too. I wonder if enough of us requested that TOPCAT perform inside the sim if we'd get that? :(A…

I have a flight plan I need to use this weekend. the first entry is N0447F380 and the last entry is TLA/0249. How do I enter these into the route page? I have tried entering direct as written, but these co-ordinates come back not recognised. Any help appreciatedRegardsGerry

Is it possible to redownload one of your planes? I bought the B1900D a loooong time ago, and wanted to redownload it. I know I have it one a CDR somewhere but instead of digging through a lot of discs I would just prefer to redownload it. What are the steps I can take to get this done?Thanks
