Well... i got the JS41 installed and after a quick test flight, I'm IN LOVE!! She's a real beauty!!!!!But... now, the livery installers don't seem to work. :( Every time I try to install a livery, the installer runs through the routine, then gives me a message saying it couldn't find the Aircraft.CFG in the aircraft folder and that I need to re-install the aircraft..I did notice, though, that in the error message, there was a "\" missing between "Microsoft Flight Simulator X" and "SimObjects"...But regardless, I tried manually pointing to the FSX directoey , but still didn't work.Any advice?Thanks!Alex

Hello,Can someone explain me how to use the rudder?For example, if the wind is blowing you to the right, I presume to switch the rudder to the left...How do you know if you have to put your rudder all to the left, or just a bit, or ...?All information is welcome!!!!!Ciao,Alexander

Can you tell us which (if any) FO callouts will be included? The manual states that you get callouts for the position of the condition lever in some cases, but says nothing of V-speeds and flap/gear up/down call etc. Since all PMDG aircraft have these I assume the J41 is no different? If the J41 doesn't have them it'll be a bit of an immersion killer - especially with no fs2cew on the cards yet.

I hope the PMDG devs can follow the lead of LotusSim with their newly released L39."Real" landing lights that illuminate the ground and other objects instead of just washing them out. Pruchased and installed PMDG 744 CD version (1.1) from PC Aviator. Install is apparently normal, including validation. I reboot the computer as instructed, run FS9 and the Boeing-PMDG 744 is available for selection. I select the model and load it. The 2D panel appears with blank screens and a dialog about AIRAC data runs and appears to complete. A moment later the screen goes black for about 10-20 seconds and the sim Crashes to Desktop. It faults the FS9.exe and "unknown" module. I have run the repair function off the CD and done a complete removal (via windows control panel) and reinstall. Same failure. All other aircraft ( Level D 767, Dreamfleet 727, all default A/C) l…

Does anyone know how to access account with a missing password? I live in a dinky little country called Australia and when I create an account and scroll down to fill in my details the info page has deciced to update my chosen password to nothing when I fill in my providence.I know this because I have set up another account as a test to see what the problem is.I have contacted support and am awaiting a reply but a quick work around would be much appreciated as the link will expire eventually.My bad I know,should pay more attention.Michael

I have a small issue with my PMDG 747 for FS9 under XP. In almost all other aspect im very satisfied with PMDG 747, 95% of my flights is PMDG 747.I can not at all read the FMC in some dawn or dusk. My screen is very light, however i only see some perceive of letters. I use VC and try different cockpit lights on/off, i zoom close to FMC, manual increase the FMC illumination to max, i even tried to move position in cockpit, but nothing help to read the FMC in VC.My only solution is ( during a VATSIM flight ) to change time of day in FS, to not be the real time of flight.I do understand this weak light is due to realism of sun-light, in real life there is difficult to read o…

I searched the forums but can't find anything on this:When landing or taking off on certain runways the aircraft bobs up and down like I'm taking off in a parking lot full of speed bumps; this causes FS9 to detect a crash. It's not every runway, actually it's quite rare. It has happened at the following airports Naples, Singapore, Rome, and Bangladesh (can't remember the exact airport). It happens with all my aircraft PMDG 737s, 747(F), MD-11, and the LDS 767, but the 747 is the only one that ends up crashing. This is a dumb question but will there be 2d PANELS? Without there being a 2d COCKPIT will there be 2d panels for like gps, weather radar, fms, and overhead, etc??Thanks, Jeff

I'm sorry if this has already been posted. But I recently got a new PC Quad Core 2.83 GHz Ge Force GTX 275 with Vista and am having the worst time with FS9 and PMDG 737 and 747. Let me start first, when I try to upload the 9.1 patch for FS9 it says I already have it but when I check to see what I currently have installed it's 9.0. When I installed the 737-800-900 some if not all the liveries are grayed out and only PMDG livery is coming through. I'm also trying to re-install 744 but it says that I need V 9.1 and it won't even let me download the 747 from online. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Mike Davey777

Hi all,I've just installed FSX and the PMDG 747 onto my new system and I'm getting some strange distortions in the 2D cockpit. I've marked these in red on the attached screenshot. The only thing thats really changed from my old system that might affect it is my monitor resolution which is now 1366x768 and graphics card ATI HD4650. Is anyone else using this card or resolution successfully? I'm also running Vista 64bit.Something that seems a little odd is that all the errors seem to fall along diagonal lines across the screen. Has anyone seen this before? Any suggestions?Adam

Hi there Guy'sAnyone here had any problems with their passwords when logging into their accounts on the main site?I,ve just purchased the MD11X and created an account did the credit card stuff went to the conformation email went to re log in and found that the page didn't recognize my password did a send password and got the email but with no password were it should be on the mail?Ive made a support reqest but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?That will teach me for trying to beat the impending release...Michael H

hi,i was wondering if there could be a demo version released for the J41.The thing is that I usually fly in VC with 2D panel dragged over to another monitor.(my setup is tripleHead2GO = 3x 19" monitor + 1 additional 17" monitor, and TrackIR)The thing that worries me is that setting switches and dials are difficult in VC whenusing Track IR due to movement of the head, bounces in fe. bad weather etc...On the other hand the qualtity of the dials / indicators, instrument etc... seems like nothing elseI have seen before making me believe it might just be possible to fly VC only.That is why I am wondering if there could be a demo (or something simular like a version full activ…

Hi Everyone,My copy of the aerosoft cd verision of the pmdg 737 800/900 arrived today but i can not find the registration key anywhere, Does anyone have any idea where i can find it Also the pmdg 737 800/900 does work in fsx?- because whenever i load up the 737 800/900 in fsx it causes fsx to crash and restart, I have restarted my computer but still it crashes, Any ideas?????Many ThanksJames

Hello all,Since some horrid person half destroyed Avsim I have been unable to find any new repaints for the PMDG MD11 for FSX.I have tried looking at Flightsim dot com but there is hardly anything there.
