hi all, i know i recently posted that we simmers should be patient for the release of pmdg aircraft and i stand by this but this post is slightly different. several months ago there was a post about which platform people preferred, fs9 or fsx and i think fs9 cam out on top although i could be wrong. i appreciate the developers find fsx more suitable for their purposes but i see by the posts submitted that fsx has its pitfalls for some simmers despite it being regarded better than fs9, hence the new aircraft being developed are all for fsx, as a result the supporters of fs9 like me are being kept in the dark regarding the production of aircraft for fs9, the forthcoming 7…

Hello! I have bought a CD version of your 737-600/700 back in 2006 from not existing anymore flightshop.ru store. I've received the CD from them but never received the box for it. They said they're gonna mail the box asap but they never did. I was wondering if I could receive the box from you, cause I'd really like to have the CD in its box. If you take off and are climbing out and suddenly get UNABLE NEXT ALT on the FMC, is this merely an informational alert or does the FMC expect you to take action to correct the situation? There may be no time to change anything if it's close to the airport and you have several departure waypoints in fairly quick succession. Is this message supposed to turn off or de-activate VNAV? Would you just call up ATC and tell them you can't make the specified ALT? What happens next? Appreciate guidance, thanks.Jonathan

I recently tried to update the Sid's and STARS for FSBUILD and found out they are no longer on the NET. Below is the error message I received when I tried to access the tutorial on updating the Sid's and STARS. Anybody know of another flight planner program worth its salt? Would appreciate it. Hello PMDG developers and captains!Nothing special here...Nevertheless, I just want to share the most beautiful sight I've ever seen in the FS9 with you......aurora!! I was doing a long-haul cargo flight from RCTP(Taiwan) to PANC, during the last three hours of the total eight-hour flight, I saw this most bizarre but amazing sight (it moved like a piece of swaying silk) in my flight simulator for the first time!!I wonder if I could ever see the real one in my life~ :( Tom

I am aware that by turning on the keyboard input for the FMC some keys have already been pre-assigned..ie: F1 to F6 are the LSK 1-6 on the left side F7 to F12 are the LSK 1-6 on the right side Page up and page down moves the pages forward or backwards if multiple pages are available for that particular mode. Enter is for your execute button Deleate is your deleate key.That's about all I can recall and have looked through both my 747 and 737 manuals but can find nothing about the default key mappings.Can you guy's help fill in the gaps for any thing I've missed and is part of the default mapping and that are not covered in the PMDG keyboard assignment menu.…

Hi Guys,I am having real difficulty configuring the 737 for use with the above product using eihter FS9 settings or a registerd copy of FSUIPC.is there anywhere where I can download profile settings for this aircraft/device?Its the flaps I can't get to work properly. RegardsJon

There must be many simmers, like myself, whose PCs are borderline for FSX when complex add-ons are brought into the mix. My present rig (Gigabyte GA-EP31 with Intel Core2 Duo E7400 @ 2.8GHz/2GB PC6400 DDR2 RAM/Geforce 9600GT 512MB) was bought to run FS9 at it's best and it does.As I had a load of gift tokens at Amazon I decided, out of curiosity, to get FSX and see how it did on my rig. I have been pleasantly surprised with how well it runs but that is with default aircraft. I have the PMDG 744 and MD11 for FS9 and would love at least the MD11 for FSX. Hello all! I was just wondering if there will be manuals available for the js41 and the pending ngx, like the ones available for the md-11. I love the md-11 manuals, and they add a whole new level of realism to learning how to opperate these beautiful products! If you change the radius of the 737-800/900--will this change the aircrafts performance or cause other problems? The reason I ask is that I read (I think it was in the afcad manual or a "tips and tricks" newsletter that used to go out) that by changing the aircraft radius and, using afcad, changing a specific parking spot radius to match it (using a number lower than any other aircraft used by fs9)--ground control, upon landing, would direct you to that spot every time. I have done that in my posky 737-900 which I used to fly before getting the pdmg 737-900 and it did always work. At http://www.b737.org.uk/fmc.htm it talks about the FMC and hidden pages. One being "Alternate Dests" another being "Nearest Airports" and how to get to them. I imagine the 737-800/900 doesn't have these but i just want to check just in case. Look like they could be very useful.Thanks,Chris

Hello,Flying DGAA-EHAM I recieved an Out of Memory Message about 5 1/2 hours in flight, while over the north of France. I haven't recieved an OOM for over a year now so I'm pretty sure it's related to the MD11. I had just receieved my copy of PMDG's MD-11 for the FS9. Unfortunately, it wont let me install it because it says I need to have FS9.1I knew I already had it but I reinstalled the patch anyways. Once i did. It told me that I couldn't reinstall it because I already have installed it (the patch). so Now I'm confused on why the MD-11 wont work when I already have my FS9.1 patch installed.

I just reformatted my hard drives and reinstalled everything and after installing the 747, there is no PMDG folder in my start menu with the load editor and manuals. How come? Thanks. -Ian
