Does anyone know of a way to get the PMDG MD-11 tool tips to stop! :( Tool tips is turned off in FSX but every couple of minutes I get the your fuel is low, hit control+X to refill.?*$( annoying!Or is this just a small price to pay for a great plane?

It turns out FSInn was drastically raising my Outside Air Temperature and was causing my airplanes not to climb. I have disabled weather in FSInn and now even tho I'm using real world weather my weather is not matched with the actives on vatsim. If anybody has any suggestions payware or free please let me know.JamesAAL275

Now sure where this is coming from, just started 4 or 5 flights ago. Have not tried the uninstall as of yet. It is only the VC, as I can go in, out and around the plane with no problems. Never does it at the start of the flights always after about 30 to 40 minutes in. Will try the uninstall next.Win7, Display driver 186.18, Q6600,ASUS 680i,Nvidea GTX8800sli,4igigs corsair ram. CPU&VID cards watercooled.Have TrackIR, UltimateTerrainX (Europe & USA),REX running when it happens.

Using the 737's, one of the only things I don't understand in the FMC is the cost index. I can't find any mention of how to calculate it or what to enter.Can anyone help?thanks,robert smith

Anybody here who can help me to turn on the interior cockpit views while flying in 2D? When switching views to left or right I used to see the cockpit windows. Not so anymore. Any idea?Phil

Hello Gentlemen,I have made repeated attempts to purchase PMDG products only to see my shopping cart go empty when I hit the "checkout" button. I am also getting website certificate warnings despite the fact that the certificate is valid. Is there something I'm missing? I am using IE8 on windows XP with all the lastest service packs. I'm running 747FSX and cannot save any of my flights or any portion of flight. Every time I save a flight segment and subsequently load it, the aircraft is positioned exactly where I initially left (and saved) but all my flight parameters (FMC), speed, altitude, are reset to default values. This should be a no-brainer. Any suggestions?John Butler

After many attempts to download the Delta Airlines repaint from www.flightsim.com, it won't download to FSX. I am trying to get it for the 747 but it is not working, is there a way to download the file?Thank you-Lovetofly28

Hi Guys - I had to reinstall XP, and iv reloaded FSX and the PMDG 747 fine (from CD).Problem i have now, is that the default panel state seems to be wrong - the plane is not powered up be default. A popup in FSX shows telling me the engines are off and to hit CTRL+E to start.How can i set the default panel state to load the plane fully powered up ready to go?Thanks!

I purchased the PMDG MD-11, but I wanted the PMDG 747-X. How do I change this purchase, both items are the same price, and I did'nt download anything yet.

Is it possible to model a static 3D copilot in the VC? I know about polygon limits but have a look at the J41 and the Captainsim 767 with the virtual cabin, they're loaded with polygons.It seems slightly strange to me flying around with empty seats in the cockpit. maybe have another .mdl or a .dll module to switch the 3d copilot on or off.

can instal the 737-600/700 and 737-800/900 in my Fligt simulator X game?

Several times on this forum (and other forums too) I've seen something like "... and of course they wont have weather radar..." as though it was obvious. I must have been absent when the memo went out. What's the issue with weather radar? Does it require some incompatible technology to work or something? or licencing of technology from a competitor? I have one aircraft in my hangar with working weather radar so I know it is possible. Therefore I assume the reason it's not in other aircraft is business/copyright/licencing reasons rather than technical. Is that true?

Hi I have a problem with my 747 in the cabin when I turn Packs on I can't hear nothing because the sound is too loud and I hear the wind like a convertible lol PMDG sound set to normal and I try all sound setting in FSX and Twice Q to reset nothing to do I can't reach a sound like a real 747Thank yoy for your helpJean-Michel

I have purchased the MD-11 from FlightSim Pilot Shop (have not received it yet). I look forward to starting training camp on that puppy! Once I have installed the software on my computer, how do I determine what version of the software I have? I guess I could download and install the update available on the PMDG site if I wasn't sure, but I thought I'd ask and see if there is a way of checking that.Many thanks.Gianluca

Hello, I have FS9. I have been using pmdg 737

Was just chatting to some Fedex guys and they where explaining Sweeper flights to me. Basically they fill an aircraft up with fuel and no cargo and fly a very non direct routing to there destination passing major FedEx destinations. The reason behind it is to pick up any cargo in case an aircraft goes Tech at one of the cities. For some reason I can't turn autothrottle off. I press D to turn it off and it well say ATS off. But then I still have no control of the throttles. No matter what I am doing the throttles well be out of my control and I well stall most of the time. And also what I can't do is when I am in Auto Flight Mode and when I select a heading nothing well happen. :(And when I turn and then set auto flight again the plane well automaticly turn to 309, even though I don't want it too. :(

Hi all!Just recently discovered I need FSX sp2 for the PMDG MD-11 (and other add-ons), have been running it on sp1 until now.But my FSX just won't run with sp2! I can start a flight but when using the menus in FSX it freezes and I have to Ctr+Alt+Del it to shut it down,making it a pretty useless sim for obvious reasons!I'm running Win XP sp3 and have plowed through various forums to solve the problem but nothing helps!Not a specific issue with PMDG but I thought somebody might have a clue? :(Best regardsMattias Nordin

Since months I'm waiting for the NGX ( the 737 for fsx), but i get really impatient, does PMDG has any programmed date for the release, or an orientation(3 months, 1 year, ...)?? Thanks. :(

This question is for the beta testers!! Is is possible for you to stick a few wing view shots on please, with engines started, and not started!! I understand if this is not possible, many thanks :(
