Hello all,First things first. This isn't a "spark" for a flame war. Meaning, if you don't have anything nice to say, KEEP IT TO YOURSELVES. This isn't a Jet vs. Turbo topic, so please don't make it one. With that out of the way...Where is the Dash 8? I mean, yes PMDG has been very focused on the NGX and has every right to be! However, why is it that we have heard a little news about the T7 (777) and nothing out the Dash? They stated (though this was a LONG time ago) that the Dash would be released in between the NGX and the T7. Can we still expect this? Is it even in development? :( Just curious as to the whereabouts of this plane. And no, by no means am I asking for a r…

I'd like to wish the entire PMDG Team and everyone a Very Happy New Year 2012!I'd like to thank you all at PMDG once again for the INCREDIBLE 737NGX! Yesterday I flew back to KBUR from KBWI on Southwest (KBWI-->KPHX-->KBUR), on two different 737-700's. I just recreated and flew the flight leg from KPHX to KBUR (KPHX-->CHILY1.EED-->J6-->HEC.LYNXX8-->KBUR, @ FL340), and you guys really nailed the sounds of the aircraft perfectly (as well as everything else about it!) Hands down, it's the best airliner for FSX!!!! And in the offing--->your 777!!!! I'm sure I speak for everyone here in hoping it will come out of your hangar in 2012! :( So, kick back…

Hello, I must say that I have not experienced any of the 'bugs' that have been posted about untill now. Excellent product.But I must report this problem I did have on final approach to EGKK runway 26L. At about 200ft RA I experienced a uncomnanded roll and hit the ground. Couldnt overide in time. This may not be anything related to the NGX. But I feel like it could be. I have the latest service pack (SP1B).Any ideas?Thanks,Stephen Suddaby

Hi guys,I have been using the saitek yoke for years and years and years,I am getting to the stage though, where I need to take my desktop to University, and won't be able to transport it with the desktop. I have managed to hold flight sim till my return to home, but a lot happens and I miss it :D.I am between two joysticks, the Saitek X52 and the X52 pro..I am struggling to really see the difference so any advice on these or others, would be Greatly appreciated !all the bestAlex

Hi,I have been flying the NGX-800 and it's been very good.Since the latest patch, I can no longer fly the aircraft :-( because my throttle just doesn't seem to work.With the motors running, when pushing the throttles forward, nothing happens. The plane just stays in the same place and the engines don't revv up.All the other PMDG aircraft I own just work fine. Only the NGX-800/900 series seems to have this problem.Anyone out there who has the same issue? Anyone out there who has figured out how to fix it.Tried Google and this forum, but couldn't really find anything.Cheers,Brian

Hi,straight to it, my internet has been causing a lot of problems for my family and turns out it was the worst company to use in my area. Then I thought, does this have an effect on me using vatsim, especially with the NGX? The problems I had were freezing so I updated several things on my computer and I am having problems with getting more RAM which is what I need. I had freezing problems which is linked to RAM but now Im thinking is the internet the cause? Currently I have 4GB of RAM and windows 7 64bit Thanks and have a happy new year

I seem to have been having a problem with the yaw damper, even prior to SP1b. I'm sure it's finger trouble rather than a problem with the plane, but when I switch on the yaw damper the light comes on and after a couple of seconds the light goes off again and the switch returns to it's off position. I thought I was switching the yaw damper on at the correct time. I usually perform this action at the end of preparing everything on the overhead CP, just prior to entering data into the CDU and before engine start. Can someone please offer some advice on this, thanks fellas.

I have PMDG 747, the 747-8 expansion and PMDG 737NGX. Everytime I fly for more than an hour the game does a CTD. Last night I flew from KHOU to KDSM and as soon as I was about to land the game did a CTD. I have tried the "HIGHMEMFIX=1" and still nothing. Any ideas? I have also tried the uiautomationcore.dll fix and still the crash. It only happens with my PMDG aircraft. They are great products, I just wish I could fly them without the CTD.

In the email I got to verify my email for the support desk the link to click on does not work. When I click on it a new tab opens with a page that says Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. How can my email be verified so I can get support??Thanks,Paul

Just performed a successful clean install of fsx and pmdgs with sps. I have tried landings at ENVA RWY 09 and RWY 27 both ILS with correct lineup and expected ILS performance. FMC works with AIRAC 1112. (I did a clean install because of major issues with ILS RWY27 ). I'm still not sure what caused it. Should I proceed installing magnetic updates, airac 1113 and pawyare ENVA scenary(makes it more realistic and nice to watch.)? As you understand I'm in fear of messing up ILS navigation if I proceed further. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Can AIRACs be downgraded?

A while ago I bought an addon called the, "SuperBugX". It is a great StudySim of the Superhornet, easily on par with the development quality of PMDG.Lately the developer has been working on an addon to bring weapon systems to FSX. Hi,I am a new convert to PMDG and I now wonder why it took so many years to do it.After diving in at Xmas and getting the JetStream 4100, I was so impressed, I ended up ordering the boxed 747-400X two days later.Already an owner of the Level-D 767, I had a benchmark to compare PMDG to. It seems, just not with the aircraft, but the support and official feedback, etc. has already put PMDG at the top of my list.So thanks to the guys at PMDG for some quality payware. Now I understand why products like yours cost more then many competitors, but they are clearly worth every penny. I know this is an ongoing question that many people have answered.But I have yet to find someone who answered it with a new twist.I have 3 computers I am willing to put into my project.First will be the FSX machine for outside cockpit view with 2 monitors.With 2 monitors, It cant handle more than that and keep a good 25 FPS.Second to run PMDG cockpit panels, over head and gauges, using 4 monitors.Saving to buy/use 3rd party panels.Third to run any thing to spread the load off the first two.At this moment I am using saitek kit.I am wondering if any one knows of a PMDG supported software that would allow me to do this.RegardsSteve

Hi, I need to submit a ticket in the support portal. I was able to register, but when the validation email was received and sent back, I get an error page. I can log into the support page, but without the validation, I am unable to set up a ticket. I have tried to get another validation email sent to me from the preferences page, but even though it says that another validation email has been sent, nothing is received, even though the email is correct. back in the 1990's I remember flying on a J41 with United Express on the west coast, mostly between Fresno (KFAT) and KSFO and KLAX.i have checked airliners.net and every J41 photo i can find in United Express colors are all on the east coast around New York and D.C.i can't remember if the J41's were through Skywest or not, but i checked in their history and couldn't find any retired J41's in their fleet.the purpose is that i'm trying to find a PMDG J41 Skywest skin but I'm guessing it doesn't exist

Ok guys, so I got one for Christmas - it's the 5 with the TrackClip Pro.What do I need to know? I tried it out a bit last night and the software's a tad overwhelming at first glance... The motion worked in FSX but felt sort of jerky to me and I found myself wanting something of a dynamic deadzone where once I stopped it would take more motion than normal to start moving again to eliminate that jitter as you're trying to hold a particular position.I'm gonna be using it mostly with FSX and DCS A-10C. Anyone have any profiles I could try out so I'm not going completely from scratch?
