Dear PMDG supporters, and STAFF MEMBERS...I know alot of topic have coverd the idea of building an A320 or A32X family and requested it, in the past times or even the new times...I am not trying to talk about the same subject, but lets be alittle bit honest here, business wise, is it worth it to build the A320 or not?when the producer is totally or at least 90% professional at what he produces then the product is for sure worth to be built even if there are one or two competitors aretrying to build one. lets just be honest (not underestimating anyone) but no one has doubt that no one can do what PMDG does. So building an airbus product line will not even decrease the sale…

But my flight sim and NGX time shall come to an end in two days. Things come up and people make bets that will keep me from using flight sim for quite some time. This means that there will be no NGX for me either. In the end, this could get me a lot of free beer from my roommates who do not think I can go a month without flight sim or Facebook. I will be sure to keep the manuals handy since I will have a lot of free time now. Seeing as how I never looked in the manuals yet and just flew, this should give me time to brush up on my NGX knowledge. My time around the forums should also pick up too! Wish me luck!

PMDG have proven themselves as the best provider of aircraft addons to the flight sim market. I was wondering that could PMDG not expand themselves and look at the design of addon scenery, and maybe even develop their own flight simulator, specifically engineered to provide the best platform for their aircraft and if possible scenery.When i say scenery i dont mean necassarily small airports, maybe say large scenery areas, large hub airports across the world.What are people and the PMDGs thoughts on this???CheersBen

I've been reading quite a few comments from posters who are being critical of Microsoft because of the direction they've opted to take MS Flight. I, too, had high hopes for MS Flight and hoped that it would eventually replace FSX (and it might do so at some point). I have so many .ZIP files on my SSD in the Download file mostly of the added liveries, REX.zip. I also have scenery .exe files in the Download folder such as jfk_fsx_setup 137 MB, FlyTampa.exe and other .exe like fsx_sp2_ENU.exe, REXFull.exe etc.Everything is working and installed. Once they are installed can I move them over to the my 2nd hard drive 2.0 Tb to free up space off the SSD with FSX on it?The Document folder in the Library Folder has 10.5 GB on it. Can I just move this all over to the 2.0 TB drive?FSX is on the C drive and has 33 GB left 78.6 GB used. I guess I can't add too much more scenery.

I saw an odd jet aircraft this morning take off out of Nellis AFB northeast of Las Vegas, NV.Here's a crop from a pic I tried to take with my phone as it climbed out - it's bad I know, but it's all I have:It looked like a smaller/shorter/stubbier U-2 painted in all white. The wing's root chord was a lot longer than a U-2's is (it looks thinner than it was in the angle from the pic). It was a single engine with the exhaust coming out the tailpipe, clearly an older turbojet - there was a visible smoke trail behind it.My first thought was some kind of vintage British jet or something like that, but I'm really not sure.Anyone have any ideas? I'll know it if I see it in a pic.

What do you guys recommend me to do; get the MD11 now or wait for the 777 later? Do you think it will take a long time for it to come, so enough time for me to learn the MD11? :(

I'm trying to install Latin VFR MHTG FSX which is a beautiful scenery for the MHTG airport. Needed for visual approach with PMDG 737. During the installation it ask for and suggests an installation destination.C:\FSXShould I go for this installation location? Any suggestions? I find it quite strange it suggests to install without any subfolder. Geir

I just purchased the pmdg 747x and cannot install the program and no it is not my firewall. In addition when trying to contact product support I am not being sent a confirmation email, so I thought I would try this forum instead since it seems pmdg is not interested in helping me out, but they did take the money. I have tried the ID number(s) on the invoice to no avail--great support. MRT

In response to Rob in the Pmdg Goes Airbus thread, I agree a poll would be interesting, so here we have it. :( I've left the A380, A350 B748 and B787 out of the poll as gathering all the relevant data to make a full simulation of these jets seems highly unrealistic for these new a/c at this moment in time. Especially for the Boeings..The aircraft I have chosen for the poll, seem sensible as that's what several people have mentioned during the past in this forum but they have never made their way towards a proper poll.Try not to get all excited over which ever aircraft wins the poll, it in no way means the aircraft will be built. Hello everyone,To my total surprise, after having signed up for the MS Flight Beta programm, I have just been selected, and I was able to download their first Beta! Awesome!Well, there are several things that are really good, but also some less good things.The good:- Extremely easy to use User Interface- Really easy to set up controls. My Cessna Yoke and Rudder Pedals were plug and play- Really easy to set up controls. I could easily set up my trim controls, landing gear and flaps, throttle axis, etc.- The game loads up EXTREMELY fast, even with my 5400 RPM WD Caviar Green, you're in game already within 5 seconds after you clicked the MS Flight icon.- Very good graphics- …

I got an email from PMDG yesterday with a special offer on the 737-600/700 series. Neat. It also contained links to download the lastest update for the 737 as well. Pretty nice. Sometimes, I don't have time to read the forum and follow developments, so that's something I hope they do all the time from here on in.But the end of the email caught my eye. Robert Randazzo said he looked forward seeing us (all of us) in transition training for the PMDG B777.And he said nothing else.I LOVE it!I'm having fun flying the 737 but the 777 is coming!What a way to end a year and start another one. When I line up on a runway for takeoff and then look at the navigation display, the white triangle will be pointing about fifteen degrees off runway heading to the right. After takeoff the triangle will do the same, continuing to fly on the majenta line but pointing at an angle about 15 degrees to the right.Any help would be appreciated.Paulfs9 windows7-64

Here's an idea for the PMDG team:You guys should make a "behind the scenes" video at some point. Many gaming developers do it and why don't you? The video could be a 10 minute tour of the office. Start from the outside and work your way in and introduce each person as well as their job at PMDG. It would be nice for us, your devoted fans, to see what you guys go through when making these products as well as the environment you work in. Not only would this be nice for us but it could strengthen that bond between devs and their fans.

Since I bought my 737NGX I trying to have support from PMDG website: I can't do login because I always receive the same message: username or password is wrong. I'm sure I using the correct email, username and password. Even so, I did another registration with another email, and got same problem; When I installed the plane it didn't asked me serial numbers, so when I load the plane into the FSX all panels are black...
