Just looking for some information I would like to know of any users flying FSX using a AMD Phenom x4 965 3.4GHz 125W Quad- core AM3 socket I'm not planning do any overclocking. do you thing it can run FSX? I've been putting off moving to FSX for a long time but now I really want to make the step finally. I read about everyone using i5's or i7's but after i built this PC and do not wish to build another one just months after building this one. Hi all,Flying PMDG birds is a real treat, especially with addon airports as Aerosofts Mega's and the like. Things like REX2.0 and TOPCAT only add to the immersion and enjoyment.But all this has left a gap: ATCTo solve this problem, I recently purchased PFE, but, to get to my actual question:How to load PMDG plans into PFE?Any help/tips would be treasured!

Ppl + instrument rating has been a goal of mine for quite some time. I've been studying the phak & fars for the past few weeks and have taken on an instructor & scheduled my first lesson since my days in civil air patrol 18 years ago for this weekend.Looks like I'll be downgrading from the ngx to carenado's c152 to practice radio navigation & pattern entries for a while, but I'll likely still fire up the old (new) bird once in a while.Wish me luck!

Also because a lot of the painters I talk with are painting all sorts of different PMDG aircraft.Power of the Pen isn't about petitions or anything like that. Just a thought but after watching some vid, I think that PMDG should do a 787 instead of a 777 or have a vote lol. But judging by how real PMDG does it IDK if they can get the data in the way they need it to make the plane realistic.

To PMDG Staff,After the mist has cleared at bit around FLIGHT and the announcement that you guys will not sell your soul to MS, I have thought about new ways to continue my hobby.I truly enjoy all your products availble for FSX, however, I need a platform that will continue to develop during the comming years.I have found the Prepare 3D project as most promising, beeing able to retrofit all FSX addons according to the developer.My question; does the PMDG products work in Prepare 3D? When I brake using the saitek rudder pedal toe brakes there is a dead zone from about 0% to 50%, does anyone know how to fix this?

How can I open a ticket ? I am having issues with my 737ngx probably due to the sp1 upgrade but while I was trying to delete the sp1 I inadvertently un-installed my everything. Now I'm trying to get a ticket opened but can't and or don't know how, The preference page tells me that my account is active but not verified, It tells me also to follow instructions that was sent to me via e-mail but am not recieving any e-mails, Ive tried several times. I don't know how to get in touch with anybody to get me up and running again. It's very frusterating when you can't get in touch with anybody. maybe i'm doing something wrong Can anybody help?

Hey,I am based out in Bahrain at the moment (OBBI) I just dropped my sister to the airport and noticed a BA World Cargo 747 sitting at the ramp.What caught my eye was it had no winglets, I was driving along a highway so couldn't get a good look. So it got me thinking, BA use Global Supply Systems to Haul most of there freight, and when I last checked they had 3 747-400 aircraft. So where did this BA World Cargo Jet come from and are there 747-800 freighters flying now?I just couldnt get a good look at the wing long enough to see if it was a 747-800, anyway I doubt they would be using a classic since they have a few -400 aircraft gathering dust in the USCheers

I've never flown any add-ons from PMDG (just waiting for NGX...), but a lot of other a/c in both FS9 and FSX. And from a flight model / flight dynamics / control law pov some are really good, some are .... well, not so good. (I'm comparing to our JAS Gripen simulator at Saab). So - how will the NGX perform in this aspect? Is weight distribution, drag from control surfaces and gear etc accounted for in the aerodynamic model. And what about the interaction between control input - interception and processing - controlsurface respons in the fly-by-wire system?Not questioning - just curious. 'Cause if everything is very real life, does being able to land the NGX smoothly in FS…

Yesterday somebody had posted demanding answers related to the forthcoming 777. It must have ruffled a few feathers because in trying to follow that thread, it seems to have vanished. Odd.

So I was wondering if I should get the 747 or MD-11 for my first long haul payware. Any opinions?P.S- I have the 737 NGX

So, I have searched and I probably didn't search with the correct key words, but I did not see an answer to my question in any previous post. So, here is my question of the day. Is there any difference in the material covered in the Aircraft Operating Manuals that are in pdf format that come with the PMDG Aircraft and the manuals that are sold on the website?

On the NGX we have it good with regard to entering weights in the FMC. Just click on the empty value for ZFW and the correct number appears and we enter it. Just wondering if this same function will be incorporated into the B777 FMC?

Guys, I have had CH yoke,Saitek x52 and currently x65f but still hanker after the Thrustmaster Warthog (I don,t like flying with a yoke and I struggle with no joystick movement on the Saitek X65f)So this weekend I will bite the bullet and buy the Warthog Hotas and hopefully put an end to my flight control saga.Before I rush out and spend a bundle on the warthog, can I ask if anyone who is flying the NGX with the Thrustmaster warthog is having any problems/issues with it? Or is it the best stick and dual throttle arrangement currently out there?Also has anybody got a Warthog profile they could let me have for the NGX/FSX?Any advice before I go get it this week end is much …

Whenever I load up my 737 NGX I get a fatal error. I uninstalled and reinstalled the 737 (not FSX), and installed SP1b. I am running windows 7 64 Bit. Help please, I want to be able to fly my favorite bird more!

I have a program in my options menu called Couti key mappings. I do not know what installed this program and I can nto locate it it to uninstall.Does anyone know how to uninstall this application?Thanks
