So from the NGX's quality I've got pretty high expectations from the PMDG 777. Here's a list of what I hope to be included!-First thing first a realistic VC which I don't have to hope for with PMDG! I ask for no 2D Panel but I would like a Pop Out FMC, Overhead and maybe the PFD,ND and ECIAS screens pop out when we click them? The Overhead and FMC would be to make it a little easier to do certain things. -Realistic Exterior and coluoring of wings.-Possibly a Taxi Cam on the 300 series.-Weather Radar/TERR (Not sure if they have one in the NGX)-EFB? Could this be possible? Or the load manager very similar to one that will give us all the weight info, speeds etc.-High qualit…

Hey PMDG,what makes it taking so long to release the Boeing 777 X ?! I mean as you said (PMDG), are the systems in the 737NG basically the same !Moreover you are working on the 777 for now approx. three years ? Maybe in slow motion but you are !What the hell ?!Is it some politic, in the try to make the product more interesting ?!Seriously, i don't get it !I am not any developer or something like that, but a curious customer. teamthe attached of gate cordinates at the respective payware airports can be added to your sidstars folder files .... to call up when setting the IRS alignment.i believe they can be used in any PMDG sim.enjoy if of interest.

Hi guys i know iam probably going to have to do a reinstall luckly i got a complete back up of my hard drive on an external drive. Any way was hoping to see if there is an easy fix for my problem. When starting fsx i get an error saying flight simulator cannot run with out a valid scenery.cfg please uninstall/reinstall fsx. Also when selecting my ftx control panel i get terrain cfg has no land class section as well. I tried deleting my scenery cfg and was hoping fsx would start but it didnt

Hi people.What I'm looking for is to enhance my visual expericence of the terrain when flying.I only (almost) fly Europe in the NGX and particulary in the northern regions. I know of FS global, UTX and so on.Is there a product, that will enhance the looks of the terrain at a low FPS cost and also maybe only for the desired region (as suppose to buying terrain mesh for the whole world)? I have been running my ivap externally which is a pain, because of the conflict with the ngx..It used to crash a lot, but since sp1b, I have had 0 crashes, so I am thinking of putting it back to internal so I can use ivap within full screen,peoples thoughts?!Alex

Hi everyoneI finally got my new graphics card. The EVGA GTX560TI-448 Classified. I decided not to buy the GTX 580 because I knew it wouldn't perform much better than the GTX560TI-448 and in this way I had money for other things. First of all, I'm really happy with my performance. I can achieve at least 30 fps everywhere, and in other cases around 40-50 FPS.I also thought, let's finally use Ryan's NVIDIA Inspector settings and apply them for FSX. So that's what I did. my system can perfectly handle the 747 and 737NGX with an FPS of 30yesterday I experimented with 2 things: I changed the LOD_RADIUS from 4.5 (default) to 5.5 under the terrain section of FSX.cfg, and secondly I tried increasing the cloud draw distance in FSX from the minimum I had it at (60 mi I think) to the max of around 130 mi or so.i was getting tired of not having a cloud cover from horizon to horizon when flying and the max cloud draw distance gave me that without any hit to FPS.last night though i was coming into the KJFK area and my FSX crashed with the OOM error message.today I flew the NGX into the KDTW area with lots of cloud cover and snow, and right after my …

Hi folks,I run the PMDG 747 and MD11 with Fs9/WinXP, when I go to apply reverse thrust the levers thrash up and down for several seconds before engageing, it happens with my x52 joystick and keyboard. I'm sure its my pc setup but cant nail it down.Anyone have a idea what might be causing it..?thanks,Steve.

Prepar3d is a nice program with a lot of potential in my opinion. With a 10 dollar month fee I cann see where updates can really make this program make FSX a lot better. I was able to get the Pmdg 747-400/8 to work. Just make sure you copy the fonts folder as well. In the Ngx The hud is blank. I have to look to see what I missed. The only thing that stops me from playing this or FSX is just I have a single core 2.8ghz pc. Too much of a strain for my Pc but it does look nice. FSDT has installers taht will detect P3d. I just uninstalled the airports redownloaded the intallers as of date.(13 jan2012). Clicked on the intaller and boom p3d detected and airports installed there…

Hi all.Has anyone used or using TracknoIR? I am using it with my logitech 9000pro webcam, but when inside the cockpit (737NGX) it's way too sensitive and the camera view bounces around too much. There isn't a lot of info on it and the instructions don't say a lot regarding sensitivity..Can some post their TracknoIR settings please, or give any advice, on how to get it working to run nice and smooth...Thanks

I noticed when I fly into international airports outside of the U.S., There appears to be no progressive options after landing. I use FSX with Ultimate Traffic 2 and when I fly domestic airports, I get progressive options after landing. On two recent international flights, one to RJAA and Cancun, after landing the tower tells to contact ground, which I do, but it only gives the option for "Taxi for takeoff". There is one option, number "8" for parking, but selecting that does nothing. This has happened on other international flights and I use the FSX airports, but use QW757 or PMDG 747 for international flights. Has anyone else had this kind of experience? I che…

I am running a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke (Yoke and serial Throttle quadrant) plugged into a separate 7 port powered hub...this 7 port hub also has my Freetrack device, webcam and Saitek Rudder pedals...I usually turn on the power to the hub before I switch on the pc...as soon as the hub is powered, I can see the green light on the rudder pedals, and I used to get the green light on the serial throttle quadrant as well, but not anymore....Last night, I was taxying for departure on my MD-11 out of Hong Kong...I was in a 90deg turn into a taxyway, when I heard a "Ding Dong" sound and all of a sudden I had no control of the aircraft....I thought it was FSUIPC, I got FSUIPC to re…
