Very curious about this... If I would change to windows 8 desktop with a touchscreen monitor, would that mean i can use the monitor to control the vc cockpit buttons, without using a mouse, you know, like an Ipad, so not only the fmc but every button where you use the mouse? Ton

I am having issues on landing getting ILS on the PFD, I programme the approach runway star etc the nav/rad page shows auto tune, but I never get any guidance bars on the PFD so I can never use the app option or even try to manually fly a ILS approach. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Hello Simmers! With the upcoming release of the 777, PMDG must be pretty busy. I have just one question. After the 777, with the 747v2.0, will it be just an updated 747, like the Aerosoft Airbus Xtended, or will it actually be a complete redo? - up to par with the NGX and the upcoming 777. There have been no screenshots yet, so it is just a wonder. Anyways, thanks! -Dmac10121

Hello, today while i was flying from Kakira to EGKK, i faced a huge building storms, which totally surprised me, it's started to be super bumpy, didn't know from which direction i should pass that so followed the plan. i would rather pay another extra 10$ in my case GBP on WXR which not 100% accurate but shows some, for time like today when i was totally helpless. wonder what you think about that. cheers!

Hi Do we have painters or texture creators who would like to create the Air India Express textures. There are three on AVSIM and 19 for the default FSX a/c. We would like to have more textures as AIEx represents the 738 pretty well. AI's textures are one of the best in the industry. Are there folks out there who would be interested? Thanks, Sanjay D

First off I have to say how much I love the 747 and the 737NGX. But after I bought these two birds I encountered trouble using FSPassengersX and I searched the forums for days looking for an answer to fix and I have yet to find one. So since FSPassengers support is virtually gone I'm looking to switch programs. I recently just purchased Active Sky 2012 and couldnt be happier with the product, while i was on there website I saw that they had a passenger simulation. Now this brings me to my question. Having changed computers I need to reinstall my 747 and 737. As the download period has passed I'm not sure whether I am obliged to repurchase of if I can be authorised for new downloads. Unfortunately I cannot recall my user name and passord to pose the question direct. Advice would be appreciated. Cliff

I have an iMac 27 inch with “Parallels” installed giving me the opportunity of running PC programmes. Currently I have 32 Bit Windows 7 which offers considerably lower Memory than the 64 bit version. If I bought the soon to be released Windows 8 I’d appreciate views about how capable of running PMDG aircraft would my setup be? Hey everyone, this is just a quick question I just want to know which button is pressed for TO/GA on Boeing aircraft (specifically the 737 and 747 that I own from PMDG) because on the PMDG 737NGX and 747X you just press the area in the panel for it, but Ive heard its located somewhere on the throttles. Are there any diagrams to show "exactly" where it is? One other thing is in the real world how is the auto throttle disconnected? Ive noticed in some youtube videos that they don`t use the switch on the panel but press something else that I can`t see. And most importantly, can I do what they do in the real world with my PMDG? Just looking at the types of airplanes out "there" for use in FSX and looking very much forward to the DC 6, I realized that there are very few really good cargo machines available for FSX. I know there are one or two other developers that have done some and while they are decent and the developers worked to the best of their abilities, I'm looking for really high end, top quality sims to use that are more along the lines of PMDG style. So with that in mind, could I suggest as possible future considerations, the Convair CV580 (with a cargo variant, or even cargo only as not many/any(?) are used for pax service anymore) OR the Lockheed Electra L188 (cargo/convertible). I know that the DC-6 was supposed to be a project in between projects. It seems that you have projects lined up and I am worried that we will not see our DC-6 anytime soon. Personally I am looking just as forward to that as I an the 777 and the new Queen. I do want a DC-6 but I would rather wait for yours if I knew it was on the way. PMDG Always, Ron

Hi! I bought and downloaded my first PMDG 737 series a couple of years ago for FS2002, and upgraded when FS2004 came. The problem now is that I had a PC crash a couple of mounths ago and lost it all. (Should have bought the CD-version). Anyone of you who knows if it is possible to get a new download version. They must have my name from my purschase, but I dont remember exactly when this was. I have been a follower of PMDG for years now. Like most of us I quietly wait for updates/releases. One question popped into my head over the weekend, how does PMDG make their software? I have zero clue about programming but it with how advanced PMDG's products do they use standard programming software? I've heard of C++ and the like, but no idea what they do exactly. Or are they using specialized software? Of course I'm not looking for specifics just a general idea of what is done to make the fantastic things they make! Tim Abbott

I'm looking to purchase either Radar Contact or FS2Crew for the PMDG 737. I can't decide which one I will enjoy more...From what I understand both are incredible add-ons and definitely will have a learning curve. But just how good is RC?? From my research I've noticed it has a few bugs and I'm kind of familiar with its setup (loading SID/STAR into FSX format etc..). So, if you had to purchase one, what would it be?

Hello, i was wondering, is there any place that i can start learn from to the T7 (freeware) if there's no freeware web, then any payware? BTW, does anybody started to learn on the T7? will it take a lot of time if i know to fly the NGX perfectly, know the aircraft system in general and on 747? cheers!

I recently have been involved in testing and implementing a series of new data management programs at work and have started to see just how much work goes into building programs and menus. I have spent a few hours code gazing with the IT guys and girls (Oh yes we have them!!) and am continuously amazed at the logic code and adaptive restrictions for certain menu items. I can only imagine what that looks like when tied into a 3D model. So once again, Thanks PMDG for building such awesome aircraft!!

With the 777 (hopefully) around the corner, my question is - do you or will you be flying the 777 in real time or sped up? If sped up, when and at what simrate? I personally don't do RT flights >2 hrs because of RL commitments + the cost of electricity but thats just me, but it would be interesting to know.
