Hi everyone, I am just curious to know, since PMDG has developed aircraft such as the 737 600/700/800/900 and the 747 400 and the 800i/F, I was wondering if it was possible, that down the line in the future that maybe PMDG could design a DC3 and DC4 to make the flight experience a little better. I have flown the Default DC3, and feel that a new, more professional one would better suit the needs for vintage pilots. Thanks for reading, Tony Schulz TONZAS911

Hi all, Which is the usual or "correct" method of slowing down while descending: - Slowing down by deploying flaps and letting the aircraft reach the respective speed targets, or - slowing down by manually reducing the speed through the MCP. Is either method subject to pilot preference or company policy? Thanks, Christos

I need to re-download my NGX file and can't seem to remember how to accomplish this. Any one offer any help? Also, where is the search feature in this forum? Can't seem to find that either.

I was wondering if anyone could help with this. I recently installed FS2Crew for the 747 and I really really liked it but I found that my MCP didn't function properly. I would get so far into the flight and the altitude would start increasing randomly and sometimes the alt controls on the MCP wouldn't respond normally. Manually controlling the plane was also very difficult and ILS approaches just wouldn't work. After a while I un-installed it and my 747's all run perfectly fine now. I was wondering if anyone else have had this type of problem? Cheers

It will be a great time saver if each of the new products is shipped with a standard EZDoc settings file. EZDoc users could then modify it to their liking. Will this happen? Cheers, Richard

I am learning to fly the 737 NG and have just about mastered, or at least I think I am mastering, the FMC. However, when I fly from KLAS to KLAX I end up with a vector in my flight plan near the end as I am in the Baset three Arrival. This happens everytime and I end up over the Pacific heading West into the sunset. Should I remove all Vectors as they have no miles showing when I will get out of them? Is there any hope once I am in the Vector on how to get out. I am very near the airport when I go into it but I keep heading west. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jim

Sirs, I would like PMDG to be more accessible. Although I am registered with the support desk I am unable to logon. I have made several attempts and have had my logon details emailed to me on two occassions today but I am STILL unable to logon. Furthermore, I am unable to let anybody within PMDG know that I am having such problems because emails sent to them just bounce back! I have been to the forum (AVSIM) but most of the tags do not work, I was mainly interesting in the 'help' tag as I continue to have problems getting assistance or even information on my particular problems. The AVSIM search facility is of absolutley no use whatsoever. In this respect AVSI…

I've always wondered if PMDG would make the classic 737. The -300 -400 and -500. That would be really great to have!! I'm also excited to get the 777. I hope it's not too expensive. :-/

I regarded myself as a reasonably experienced 'serious' simmer and over the years have acquired most of the 'must have' add ons (PMDG fleet, LevelD 767, Real Air, A2a Accusim GEX, REX, UTX ORBX stuff, blah blah......... Hi, Forgive me for my lenghty post. But honestly I'm tired of stutters on PMDG. I run the PMDG 738 NGX on a Dell Alienware i7 2820QM (2.3 gh) , 10 GB RAM, Geforce GTX 460M graphics card. I'm encountering regular interval stutters while taxing, takeoff, landing (1000 ft and below) and during turns. It's like ( smooth ...... smooth ....... smooth goes .... on) and then it stops. Same thing while taxing. While stuttering the frame rate drops to a miserable 5fps. I do not want to overclock the cpu/gpu as it's a laptop and it's never a good option to overclock. In the long run, it's going to mess up the system. I've tried to optimize the fsx.cfg fil…

After reading some PMDG 777 topics, and after reading complaint after complaint after complaint after complaint, and with all the topics saying how much they want and want other planes (I know I am just as guilty as them all). Hello all, So here I am flying a long haul with the Queen, and all of a sudden, I got an idea. I know that the winds aloft data for the 747 as modelled isn't a true simulation of the real thing (at least, that's what the manual says), but nonetheless I usually enter the data for a long-haul leg, and the FMC's fuel prediction generally improves considerably. However, it's a time-consuming task to go down the list of waypoints inputting every change of wind direction or speed, so I was toying with the idea of writing an application or extension or some sort of program to take the data from a source (online, a flightplan, Activesky, etc.) and automatically input it into …

Hi all, Let's say you have a favorite route that you have program the FMC for, and later you just want to hope in and fly. Can you save the FMC and reload? I would imagine airline pilots flying a route between two cities must have something like this. I don't have much time to burn, and spending a good chunk of it on doing the same FMC programming is bit too much for me. Thanks

Hi When ordering the manuals ....PMDG suggests to ship by Fex...however there is NOT an option to do this, it only allows shipping by USPS ....is there a way this can be corrected, I and Several of the customers are having the same results, Cheers Don Nelson

I recently viewed an FMC instuctional video on u-tube by wturbiasz and in that he uses flightaware free-ware but when i tried i could not pull up sids and stars the way he did in the video, Did flightaware change the abbility to do that? I understand that this video was made some years ago and if so is there another free-ware program that alot use.

Can anyone explain why I get 20-25FPS with an addon scenery with the NGX, when the 747 I get around 10-20? Newer software or? Same thing with the Level-D 767, that's virtually a 2-D VC and I get better in the NGX ha.
