Hi guys, I have no doubt that this community will be able to help me out on some computer advice. Ok, so I sent back my failing western digital drive and put in the replacement, reinstalled FSX onto it. Now, the new drive, is very noisy when loading FSX and after the aircraft selection. My issues are, that FSX is taking a very long time to boot, and then when it does boot it is very unresponsive and I will often recieve a greyed out freeze of FSX and then a 'fsx is not responding' close now. Hi,I am an avid flight simmer and I CAN'T GET MY NEW EXTENDED DOWNLOAD/INSTALL LINK FROM PMDG!PLEASE HELP. I CHANGED COMPUTERS AND MY LINK EXPIRES. THEY MAKE YOU PAY $4.95 FOR A NEW ONE AFTER YOU'VE ALREADY PAID $70.00 FOR THE SOFTWARE. I HAVE TRIED TIME AND TIME AGAIN TO PUT IN MY PASSWORD(S)/USERNAME AND IT WONT TAKE IT. I HAVE TRIED TO CHANGE PASSWORDS AND IT WONT SEND ME THE PASSWORD CHANGE LINK.THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY BROWSER SETTINGS, ETC. i HAVE PAID FOR THE EXTENDED DOWNLOAD LINK SERVICE AND NOW I HAVE NO WAY OF USING IT. I have just read from Aerosoft's forum that they are going to rival Navigraph and distribute navdata for FS community supplied by LIDO systems. This is real world data and from what I have seen from LIDO systems will be top notch stuff. Does this now mean that the NGX and future PMDG aircraft ie 777 and 747 will have a better chance of supporting the RF data in the FMC? Thanks

Dear PMDG, I unfortuantly was unable to purchase to the 737NGX 600/700 Expansion today. I added it to my cart under my account and every time i click checkout its loads a new page and says my cart is empty. A very friendly Air traffic controller answered every question I could think of! There were a few I thought of afterward that I wish I could've asked. A very neat expereince, especially since he was a retired Tower and Enroute Controller at KIAH, who now works tower at a class delta airspace airport!

Hi guys, I've been flying the NGX since it came out, but only on IVAO. Recently i switched to VATSIM, because its just better if you want to fly over America. However i need help: Can someone explain it to me (like I'm a 4 year old, LOL), how to to see the surrounding traffic in the correct livery ? (I'm using Squawk-box !) Thank you ! Just some perspective, and a comment on something we all strive for in our simulation experience, Realism. I am currently a Student Naval Aviator (Coastie) and just finished my first solo and aerobatics solo in the T-6B. I started the Instrument syllabus today and was amazed by how much I already knew and how familiar I was with the instrument procedures as I clicked through the lessons and sat through the classes. Obviously flying the approaches in the plane and simulator is a challenge but I feel like I have a huge advantage over my classmates. Hey guys when i go for my takeoff run in the NGX or the 747 the throttles just go from full to idle. I bought the 747 yesterday and it happened after I installed it. Please help Thanks, Bobby Loesch

Myself and two friends have alot of experience in fibreglass/aluminium molding/cutting and electronic engineering/computers and have been thinking it is possible to make a great/realistic looking 737NGX cockpit that is fully functioning for way less than the $150,000 price tag seen on many pre-built cockpits. To judge interest, how many people would realistically buy a home cockpit (either 1:1 scale or just the Captains side (w/overhead and center panel still) if the price was say $20,000? If anyone is interested in hearing that transmit sound when calling out to ATC on FSX. I found a great program. Just want to share with you all some wonderful news. My wife is expecting!!! She is currently nearly 6 weeks pregnant with our second child and budding FS-enthusiast (just like Daddy). Here's hoping for a girl as we have a wonderful little 2 year-old boy already. Having said that, as long as everything goes well (the first 12 weeks are crucial) and we have a healthy baby in 9 months, I'm happy! :Party: :dance:

Hi guys, I followed all the online instructions for fps limiter 0.2 and created the bat, yet it's not starting fsx at all. Looking through numerous forum posts, and even turning uac off, still when the bat file starts the command window opens for a few seconds but nothing happens. Hey guys, as the title says, I was with the crew on our way to the terminal for a CPH-LGW x2, in the crewbus. When a guy (two guys in the car) drove over red light at directly in front of us, the crewbus suffered only bumps, all though we hit it with 40-50kph, but the other cars front left wheel was totally banged up, an you know what they +#%*+_>££|^# took off running! Hi, I'm not up to date on what hardware is good or not with regards to running PMDG stuff and other add ons. This seems to fit in with my budget. Could someone kindly tell me if this system is OK? I love the PMDG planes, and I love the range of free to download liveries PMDG has to offer... But I often get sick of clicking on each one to download them, this was a particularly frustrating in the MD11 and has been rectified slightly by the livery manager for the 737, but I was wondering if there could be an option to do a complete download off all liveries? Or to show all liveries in the FSX aircraft load, but when you select a livery you do not have, it downloads it automatically and restarts FSX? Anything then the tedious clicking of my left mouse key :P

Guys this is a must for not much investment, my computer would boot about in about a minute well now its done in about 20 seconds this is an amazing piece of hardware, NGX now is even much more fun load times smoothness is great - FSX loads much faster - if you do not know about this little gem well you should think about one makes all of your tasks much faster had to pass this on. Hi, i have recently started getting into this sim (having a great time) the manuals are great .......ah you know all that. Anyway because of this i have been reading up on the NGX etc and in a lot of different articles i have noticed that "it has a tendency to roll to right on takeoff" comes up a lot in the literature that is out there. Is this simulated by PMDG? i know the logical answer is to go and see for yourself and i have. I think it does, but i sometimes think im kind of imaging it and just compensating for it. Does anyone know if PMDG put this characteristic in the simulation? sorry should have posted this at the 737NGX forum.
