Hi Everyone I just came on here to ask you all, are you enjoying your PMDG 737? Here are a list of things that I like the most about the NGX. The FMC - fully functional, and LOVE the in-built load manager. Also like the ground connections and the PMDG setup pages. I love the flexibility to change all settings from the eyebrow window configuration, to the option of steel or carbon brakes. The Livery Manager - ability to easily install liveries is just great. The Virtual Cockpit - everything in the cockpit except the circuit breakers are fully interactive, and love the realism of the autopilot engaging and the different air conditioning temperat…

Ok I know this is an old subject but.......with a no wind condition on final approach everthing is just dandy...oh no other aircraft landing or taking off. Everything is great until i turn off the A/T and cmd A ...well its still pretty good. I like a decent of about 300fpm or so, but as I near the threshhold Im having to make big corrections from side to side I can never get an approach that says on the center line so i end up on one gear slapping it down on the other. I would be fired with all my bad landings.....any secrets out ther to make a good approach? oh and is there a simple way to practice approachs with out going through the fmc everytime. I know I can fly manu…

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good Autosave programs for FSX that saves the position and panel state? I'd be a tad nervous to do a fifteen hour flight in the 777 with the chances of it crashing and losing everything ha. I know saving manually works and saves both but forgetting is easy! Any help will be appreciated. Cheers, Luke

Hey PMDG developers, I know this will sound pretty old fashioned but what do you tell me about start working on a high fidelity MD80 series, including 80,83,87,88 and perhaps a future expansion covering the 90. I really think this bird is a must in our hangar,Leonardo did a great job with his one,but interior textures are pretty weak. Regards.

I need to open a ticket but unfortunately I forgot my UserName. After going to their website I saw an option " Forgot Log In " . After entering my e-mail I was supposed to receive an e-mail with my lost User Name. That e-mail never came and now I wonder how I can get in touch with PMDG after I just ordered an extension for my 737 download. My emails I send to therm with this request were never answered. Can anyone help ? There is also an option "Contact us" which does not work.Very poor I must say. Thanks H.Werni

I would dearly love to get improved performance when flying my PMDG heavies. Currently I run out of RAM after half an hour or so and the clarity of the flight deck and aircraft is well below the pictures I've seen online and on the PMDG site. However I'm not computer literate enough to make a sensible choice of what to upgrade. If indeed that's required. Here are my computer details: Processor : Intel ® Core ™2 CPU 6400 @2.13 GHz 2.14 GHz Windows 7 32 bit RAM 4.00 (3.25 GB usable) Video card : Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS Guidance would be appreciated. Just curious if PMDG will be making a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. If so when?

...which was, as I remember, posted anywhere here in the PMDG forum, a few weeks/months ago. It was quiet professional looking few minutes clip with several takeoff, landing and inflight scenes of cockpit flights with a ryanair 737-800. And if I'm not completely wrong it was with background music from Coldplay(?). But that ist what I cannot remember clearly ;-) Does anybody know which video I mean? Already used search functions etc. with no succes. Thanks for any help. ;-) Nicolas Reich

I want to buy the download version of the 737NGX plane from PMDG, but I'm not sure if the documentation is included. The PMDG MD-11 documentation is available on the download page of PMDG, but the 737NGX manuals aren't. I just can't figure out if they are included in the download. Can someone help me out with this?

Hello, Just a small quesiton related to a project for my University. I found on several forums the decelleration rate in 'RTO' mode for a B744 is 11 ft/s^2. Well, that might be true but I need a valid source like the AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual), or FCOM (Flight Crew Operations Manual) or a QRH (Quick Reference Handbook) or anything else. Question: Anybody knows a valid source with the maximum decelleration rate for the B744 when the Autobrake Selector is set to 'RTO'? Note: PMDG source not allowed. (My apologize dear PMDG, nothing against your knownledge because I know it's 99% true, but we need a 'real valid' source). Thanks in advantage!

These problems seem to crop up quite a bit throughout these forums: "My aircraft will not follow the LNAV path" "My aircraft suddenly turns and I cant stop it" and "My aircraft suddenly starts 'S' turning and no matter what I try I cant stop it" Well 99.9% of the time this is because of an improperly configured weather set up coupled with FSX's poor depiction of wind turbulance. I used to be a victim of this extremely annoying problem and thought it would be nice to put some of you guys out of your misery too. How you tackle the problem depends on the following: Are you using FSX default weather engine? or Are you using a weather program like AS2012…

One on my favorite things to do is to connect/disconnect the ground support equipment at either the beginning or end of a flight. I especially like to think of myself as a private owner of a 737, so I like to park the plane out on the tarmac rather than at a gate. I then open the door and lower the air stairs after shutting down all the systems at the end of a flight. I also like to be able to start my flights with the air stairs extended and main entry door open, and the carts connected, but not running. However, the one thing I think that would be really cool, is to add an additional function to the FMC controller, allowing the pilot to configure the shut down or st…

To All Texture Enthus, Is there an easy way to change the standard N737PM to say VT-LMN on the tail and inside the cockpit? Since PMDG hasn't represented India very well from a textures standpoint, most of our Govt and private commercial airlines having the 737-800 a/c's, and there are so many of us having PMDG, I'm thinking to use the default textures but it doesn't make sense to use a N999XX registration in India. PMDG has spicejet in their textures download. But again the reg is fixed. If it was dynamic, we could have used the same plane and changed the tail registrations to make them look many. All spicejets have the same color-combo just diff registratio…

How would I, on the PMDG 737, fly the approach feather manually? By this I mean riding LNAV/VNAV and AP right until I'm lined up a few miles out...I know I'd disconnect first the autopilot, and then by this time VNAV would've already switched off to where I set VREF +5? My goal is I guess to still have the AT control the speed, but me controlling the plane vertically and laterally? If I also pressed VOR/LOC and then APP, would the two localizer and G/S bugs stay there as reference points? I apologize for the conflated questions, but I don't know exactly how to communicate this. I'm sure you guys will have a much more clear answer! Thanks! :help:

Hi There is total silence by PMDG.Even on their Facebook page. I saw the same with Airsimmer. As long as I don't see any presence of the company in their Customer Forum I have to think that they ran into deeper troubles.

Hi everyone. I posted this problem in the Turboprops section a while ago and received no response. It appears that the link on the PMDG site to download the Continental Connection (regular livery) repaint for the B1900D is broken. I have been wanting this repaint for a while. Is there a way that this link could be fixed or for PMDG to send me the repaint by e-mail? Thank you. (P.S. I would have notified PMDG directly via Support Ticket but it seems there is no category for website problems).

Hi Guys! Like a lot of other people, I have been watching all kinds of 777 videos in anticipation for its release. One thing I wondered was why the fan blades spin very slowly during push back or while sitting at the gate. My first thought would be the general wind blowing through the cowling, spinning the fan blade, but... It just seems to me that it would take a lot more than a 10 knot wind to spin a 12 ft plus high (don't quote me on it) set of fan blades. I notice this on some pushback videos, so I know the engines have been shut down for a significant period of time; they wouldn't still be spooling down. My other question is for PMDG. I know the limitations o…
