Captains- The clock just ticked over to Christmas here in the eastern USA- so I thought I would take a moment to wish you all a Merry Christmas! Now I know a few folks were concerned about the much discussed MGTW on Santa's sleigh- but the good news is that a few folks managed not to clear the "Good List" thus freeing up some room for additional loot for those who did. Sounds like Operations had bigger problems getting the CG in the right range for takeoff- but we understand the CG is relatively static as a result of reindeer droppings weight loss counterbalancing the forward shifting CG as all the loot gets dropped off along the route... Tried to delete this post but did not see how. PMDG 737s were available until today. Went to load my Alaska Air 737 only to find that ALL the 737s are missing from the selections (the JS 41 is still there). Checked FSX\Sim Objects\Airplanes and all versions are still there. the .cfg files look normal, texture folders with thumbnails as they should be. I restarted FSX but no luck so restored windows to three days ago. Still no 737 available for flight. Loading the tutorial puts me in the right location but only a black cockpit shape. What can I do? Full reinstall needed? Help appreciated.....I want to learn how to manage this plane. Regards to all Neal H

My motherboard supports PCI Express 2.0. My CPU is an Intel Core2 Duo 3.0 GHz E8400. My OS is Windows XP 32 bit. My graphics card is an ASUS EAH4670 with 1 GB of DDR3 memory. Strictly for FSX with the PMDG 747-400X, is there any advantage in changing to an Nvidia GTX650 card with this older system? I already asked in the hardware forum but, so far, no response.

Hello I recently bought the 737 of PMDG and I'm getting 25 FPS in virtual cockpit BUT default airports with Active sky Evolution. Sometimes that frames go down to 15 FPS It makes me "unhappy" hehe. I don't want to image how many frames I will get with Aerosoft airports and .... Here is my speecs Intel I5 650 3.20 GHz ASUS GeForce GTS250 1GB 4 Memory RAM Windows 7 64bts. I dont have which cooler I have to make it coolder !! Well,, I would like you tell me what you would change of my computer, If I get a new Graphic Card or a new Intel hehehe. For those people who owns either the NGX or the MD-11, do you actually use the adjustable dimmer function for the cockpit lighting? Or do you use them only as an on-off switch? I've never used it myself to be honest, either it's full brightness or off for me. I found the dimmer makes the cockpit lighting look rather ugly with a lot of color banding.

Hi, - I need a little help with the PMDG 747-400X TO/GA switch. - My TO/GA switch (screw hot spot) will not do anything when pushed on a go-around, works fine for take-off but not for a go-around. It has worked fine but all of a sudden it will not do anything. - Any ideas on what I can do to get it working again?? - Thanks Bob Galbraith

Hey guys, As I'll have no time for the pc in the next few days, I'd like to take this time to wish all the guys at PMDG and on the forum Merry Christmas. The 777 didn't turn up for Christmas but that's ok. PMDG have NEVER failed to deliver a wonderful product so I'd like them to have a good Christmas so that next year can be a really wonderful year with all the projects they've got planned. I've searched the Avsim database looking for this but so far no real joy - is there a spot that simmers have placed their favorite flight plans into? Maybe for challenge, beauty, distance, etc? Would like to see what other NGXer's are flying. Thanks.

A PMDG Antonov-225 would be the best cargo plane in FSX ... the an-225 is soo sexy and has enormous capacities, 10000x better than boeing cargo planes. Why are they always making american planes ? Why not making the AN-225 ? Are PMDG group pro-americans/illuminati ???

Dear Forum I have recently started to use TOPCAT with PMDG 747-400 FSX . (not Freighter) I have configured the A/C as per instructions. However, upon loading the FMC, I notice that the Trim setting is not as per TOPCAT's calculation. Ie: TOPCAT says 5,7, and FMC says 5,9. Looking at the Zfw, these look almost accurate and so does the fuel loaded. The aircraft is the British Airways download from PMDG, with RR engines. What a I doing wrong, as far as the Trim is concerned? Any advice would be appreciated Best Regards Mike

Hi guys. Can someone help me out with the text in bold below, contained in vroute flight plan? I'm guessing 'N' is for a ground speed and 'F' is for a flight level? Hi, I'm reinstalling FSX due to a problem somewhere in the install. I came to the part in the programs section of the control panel where I am faced with uninstalling individual liveries in PMDG's 744, 748 and MD-11. Do I have to uninstall each individual livery? EDIT: I already uninstalled the 744, 748 and MD-11, so the liveries practically don't exist anymore on my hard drive. Thanks alot.

I have dedicated a lot of time learning the ins and outs of this wonderful simulation, and I am almost at a place where I feel comfortable flying it online. I currently have the CH Products yoke, throttle quadrant, and rudder peddles. Hi, I'm a PMDG owner of the 737NGX and 747 for FSX. Although I love the PMDG products I moved to X-Plane 10 because I found it a much better simulator. I wonder if PMDG intend to produce their awesome aircrafts for my favorite simulator, XP10. Thanks.

When I buy the 737 QRH, I see an option for Color Upgrade. Am I right that when I select this, I will get a colored QRH and if not I get a black & white one? Just to be sure.
