Guys... During the writing of one of the Harry Potter books, J.K. Rowling made an alias account and logged onto a predictions/expectations forum and tossed around some of her ideas for the book. Many of them were shot down and rejected. Here's what I'm puzzling on... Imagine if some dev team member made a second account as somebody like xxjoshamxX (not a real person, made up), and was galavanting around the forums making perfectly accurate predictions and release date predictions. WE WOULDN'T EVEN KNOW.

Hello All, Dont know if this has been mentioned before. While flying the 737NGX from KJFK-KDTW I noticed in the FMC KDTW arrivals that there are two 04L runways each with a different radio ILS signal. I selected ILSY 04L and on arrival and in the approach course038 the aircraft was flying straight but about 5 degrees off to the right. I made enquiries about this and it seem that ILSZ 04L should be used instead. Both these runways are listed in the Navigraph Ndac. Anyone else found this occurrence before. Richard Welsh.

Can get an update on projects such as the DC-6, B777 and B747? Is there a chance for any regional jets in the near future?

Hello fellow PMDG pilots. I am having a problems with the display on the J-41 only after accessing any of FSX's menus. My system was just built: I7 processor 16 GB Ram OS drive and FS on separate disks FSX w/ acceleration pack installed GeForce GT 640 with updated drivers from NVIDIA This was a clean install, all win 7 patches installed. No Add-on other the Carendo B200 All default everything else in FSX. All function on the J41 work until I hit Alt and access any of the menus. When I click OK to go back to the plane, I get the scenery without any buildings and no cockpit is displayed. A few times the screen was flashing, kind of like the resolution…

hi, i'm always looking for nice interesting freeware destinations in europe for my ngx ;-) For example I found two absolute awesome freeware sceneries. Hey everyone, I know the pmdg staff have alot on their plate right now but I was curious if they plan on making their own version of fspassengers that works with their aircraft? I would absolutely love to have that to fly with my 747 and ngx! Rob

Robert and team, could I request that any new screenshots made public are not only posted on PMDG's Facebook page, but are also posted in this forum for all of us to see? Just a little thing, but it'd be much appreciated by those of us who don't have, don't use or rarely use Facebook.

Please forgive me if this has been asked before but. do PMDG planes work with P3D?

I'm thinking of buying the 747X as my VA has a bunch of routes that require that plane but I wonder if it makes sense to buy the current version that's over 4 years old or wait till v2 is released. Since PMDG has no release date for v2 (or the 777 for that matter), I'm of two minds. What do you guys think?

Hi guys, Recently bought FSX Gold Ed, to make use of the Simconnect facility with SB4 on my Laptop to cure insertion errors - seems to work. Reinstalled PMDG B747X, now that I am able undertake long trips. Installation was trouble free however, when I fired up FSX and set my B747 at EGLL I could not get the battery switch to operate, nor would the APU operate it would switch on. There were no instruments, no control surface movements, the nose wheel was at 90degrees to the centreline, yet the engines were running, so I gave it a go. Taxied out lined up and took off. All controls inputs worked, but no movement of surfaces. On the FSX menu bar, under addon…

Hello, Ive been trying to access the PMDG website for quite some time now on Firefox but it says: "The Connection has Timed out" I've also tried Connecting to itusing IE9, and Chrome. I've also looked into firewall settings and nothing is wrong there, so i don't know what the problem is. Any help would be appritiacted. Dale Munro

This has been a long time issue for me now, the PMDG 747 when flown in real world weather with REX it just goes crazy in mid air, large 90 degree S turns, damaging my cargo and injuring my passengers for the VA, I end up disconnecting the autopilot at 35,000 feet and I fly much better than the autopilot did myself. I am absolutely sick of it now. Has anybody found solutions to this problem? Ive got the full version of FSUIPC and have the wind smoothening set but it still does nothing. I have never heard or seen PMDG mention dates so how can they make these projections? Is there any validity to them? I'm completely skeptical. For December: PMDG BBJ NGX expansion FSX PMDG Cloudmaster FSX For January: PMDG B777 FSX PMDG B-747 V.2 FSX Our member happens to think there is some validity to these claims. Now, I have seen people go to great lengths in order to speculate release dates for PMDG projects. However, this, by a "professional source" just seems a little overboard. Thus I'm asking the above questions.

Hi foalks, I basically bought a brand new system for the sake of not just fsx, but for running fsx and pmdg aircraft with two monitors. This was a significant update for me, not bought a new system like this for over 6 years. The instant that I have finished putting the service packs on and everything else on to fsx, I put the graphics up to maximum settings for everything on fsx and I am surprised that I am seeing good results, no flicker, no lag - nothing worrying at all, nice to see this for a change:- Needless to say my new specs compared to the old ones are:- Win 7 64 bit (from win xp pro) 8gb DDR3 RAM (from 3gb ddr2) 2.7g quad core cpu amd (…

Attached is picture showing some ugly pattern in the mesh. I would appreciate if anybody could give some advise on how to adjust in order to get rid of this recursive pattern. I pretty sure there should be no such recursive patterns.... Maybe some settings are set not correctly. Sincerely Geir

Okay, before I pull my hair out, someone (I beg you) please help me! I have the FMC 90% mastered (for the most part)--I can set it up and appreciate its functionality. But, my issue comes with the mix of SIDs/STARs ... I've used Flightaware for routes. Let's, for example, use MCO-->ATL. Flightaware suggests: ENDED5 CTY HONIE8. A SID-transition-and STAR, correct? But I always end up with some sort of discontinuity, or vector near the end that leaves me stranded. So, I used the free trial of FS Commander, and with their maps I was able to create this: KMCO JAG4. DBN CANUK1. DBN OSTRR KATL. From the mapping etc. on FS Commander, this set me up perfectly for 08L at …

This morning I was up for an extremely nice surprise! One of the best scenery developers - Fly Tampa - has released a v2 of its famous Dubai scenery. And what a scenery that is!... I can see even my own house ^_^ You guys must check it out. After all its the hub of the largest Boeing 777 customer - Emirates. Fly Dubai is there too with a large fleet of B737-800s. I silently prey PMDG to have a similar secret development and to catch us by surprise one day, with the statement - T7 released, proceed to download!...

I wasn't one hundred percent sure where to put this topic - just bought Ezdok Camera for FSX to use with the NGX. I've read the manuals but the following I'm not understanding and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction; 1. When you move around the flight deck & the exterior with the arrow keys - plus moving up and down with the PageUp&Down commands on the keyboard; how do you do that so when you hit the left arrow the ailerons don't move to the left or pressing page down and the reverse thrust doesn't come on? 2. How to look around the flight deck when you have "ML" mode not selected? If I try to look around via the space key or my switch…

Like most of us, I have been waiting for the 777. Then one important question comes to my mind is how well it will perform on my system. I own the 747 from PMDG and I got around 20 fsp when landing in a busy airport which is pretty good in my opinion. I heard NGX is FSX native so it is more FSP friendly, but I dont own one. So does NGX really out perform 747 in term of FSP? and I can foresee the new 777 will perform better than the 747?

I am still at war with AutoGen. Whenever the autogen is selected I get Texture flashes all over the place. I know this subject has been touched on so many times and I'm sorry but when I see so many others having zero problems it really bugs me. I run WIN 7 64 Bit I7 sandy bridge (not overclocked) have the EVGA 580 GTX plus 16 Gig Ram A brand new install (from Windows up) Set the nvidia inspector according to PMDG config Added Highmem and vsync to FSX.ini That is all.
