Hey fellow pilots,<br /><br />I got the Navigraph 1303 AIRAC update yesterday and went to install it and it didn't update what I wanted except for FSC. I ran the installers for FSC, QW757 and the wilco Feelthere EMBRAER jets. As far as I can tell FSC was the only program that updated (it was at AIRAC 1211). All the other aircraft still say the AIRAC they had, not the one I tried to install. <br /><br />I don't know if it is because I chose the wrong folder, it said to choose the root folder of every aircraft which I did. <br /><br />Also, is there a way to update FSX's AIRAC cycle? Recently I had to rebuild my entire FSX rig. I dreaded the task because it is quite a large endeavor (see My PC & My Simulator). But, it was well worth it even though it took me quite a while. I decided to follow Word Not Allowed's approach (http://#####...hardware-guide/) which includes the windowed mode V-Sync technique. I kept everything plain and simple. No external frame limiters, no online tweaking tools, no gimmicks. hey guys, i just recently went into private sceneries post on this page and downloaded the "Delta70 liveries for my 737-800NGX after using the pmdg livery mgr. to load it, i now get this error after choosing this livery and clicking fly . right befor it starts i get this error: "PMDG_737NGX.2dll unloaded" every time i is my favorite livery, is there anything i can do to fix this issue? my other liveries work fine thanks

I realize that this plane isn't very popular, but it is a fairly modern plane. Nobody has made it, and it would be great if you guys at pmdg could make it. It is fairly requested by pilots at deltava.net and this is the one Boeing aircraft that has not been done in realism. All but the 77 have been done completely, and as you guys are working on the 777 already, perhaps you could create the 767-400. Just a request, please take it into consideration as this plane seems to have been shunned by the fs community.

Hello all, I have another tech-question for you all, particularly the real pilots After watching a few of those "Just Planes" dvds, I`ve noticed that when the aircraft reaches its top of decent, it doesn`t use what I normally do, which is put the fmc altitude into the altitude window, and when the aircraft hits the T/D the VNAV does the decent. In the dvd, after atc commands them to, they decent (wether its passed the T/D or not) using the vertical speed function. Is that commonly done? Is the VNAV decent at the T/D used? As far as I know, there are three ways to initiate a decent, a) the VNAV, b )Vertical Speed bug and c) (Not sure if this is really used) the "Decen…

Hi I'm new with PMDG 737 ngx .Question is how to change key assignments for PMDG 737 ngx? It's not working with settings -->controls-->buttons/keys(from FSX menu)! even if you change here it's not working for 737 ngx ??

Hi there this is my 1st post on a forum and new to flight simming my problem is that when I want to load any plane onto livery manager it throws up a message 'this variant is not installed' Im stuck and dont know what to do now any suggestions are welcome thanks

So I'm getting pretty bored of the default FSX weather so looking to get either Active Sky or REX. Now my average FPS with the NGX or 747 is 20-30 on the ground and 30-40/50 Airborne. What would be the best FPS wise?

For some reason I can not safe a flight plan. It seen that I have no place to safe any flight plan in fsx . I will appreciate if some one can guid me to the location of the fsx flight plan file. I look in documents fsx and I can not find it. I located the pmdg flight plan folder, but not the regular fsx flight plan folder. And also can some one tell me how to let the Cfg file in fsx to rebuilt fsx , and if these procedure will affect the pmdg acft . I appreciate any help.

I have purchased extended download time for my PMDG 737 NGX a day ago, and still it says "url expired" :( My friend also purchased extended download time, and got a fresh new link in 2 hours. For me, I still have not gotten it yet. I have submitted a ticket, but no responses yet. Has anyone else purchased extended download time? How long does it take? Thanks, Matthew -Matthew Linker

Hello people, I have a general question regarding the 747 and MD-11: how do they compare? Which one is more complex and better simulated? I have got to say I like both, besides I would be getting the MCP module from CP Flight for the 747, something which is not available for the MD-11. Sure, I can always learn both, and it is exactly what I will eventually do, at due time, but if I want have to pick one, what would you suggest? I know the 747 is coming out with a 2.0 version, and talking about that is too soon, so let's start with what we have now. Any suggestions and inputs will be appreciated, Enrico :smile:

Hi, the PMDG models look fabulous. There is only one question I have before I decide to buy one or more. It states for best performance "OS: Windows 7 64-bit". How about Win8 64-bit? Is it Win8 compatible? Thx

I have Win 8 running on my computer and had to switch back to Win7 for the time being because HP STILL has no Win8 drivers for M1319f mfp printer. Since registering 737NGX requires an Internet connection I assume that the install is registered. Eventually (hopefully soon although I have been waiting for these drivers for 3 months now) I will switch back to Win 8. My question is, how is that going to affect me when I try to install 737NGX in Win 8? Will it let me, do I have to uninstall on Win 7 first, and can I do it at all? Thanks

Hi all I have been having some problems with the 4096 textures of the repaints for the NGX. When i start my flight, i like to go to outside view to view AES at work. When i go to spot view, the plane is a skeleton for a few seconds whilst the textures load.Thing is, when i get to my destination,( after a flight, were i guess fsx is taking more and more memory along the way to destination) i go to spot view and the plane will be a skeleton again, and just refuses to load the texture - and looks a mess. After some extensive googling, i found some info on why this is happening.My texture _max_load is 1024, the repaint textures are 4 times the size @ 4096. So whe…

First things first, I know that this request is a long shot, but I think it's worth asking, so here we go: A couple of users (including me) are having problems with overspeed situations when using OpusFSX with MD11, JS41 and Leonardo Maddog. PMDG's NGX and 747 seem to have no problems handling Opus winds. If I have understood the situation correctly, FSX changes the current speed to 0 during weather update (only for a split second). Continuing with an example: Couple of days ago, I did a flight from KBLI to KSKA (FL170) with strong tailwind (40kts). When the weather is updated, the tailwind goes from 40 to 0kts => overspeed. Quick question, whenever I go on Flightaware, or any aviation website or anywhere really and It says the name of the aircraft it always say like "a320-232" or 777-232. what is the -232?? I know that the 2 is probably to indicate the 777-200 or the a320-200, and I know that they also say 772, a322, 752, etc. Jut dont know what the number in the middle is. thx.

hi since i have reinstalled the win 7/64 bit, all the win updates, fsx,sp1-2,then 737 ngx, sp1-b-c my 737 works almost awesome exept single problem. The SOUND of the cockpit is gone(gpws, button-swiches sound etc.) i only have the engines sound. i tried every think in the settings but no figures. did anyone solved this problem ? EREK

Hey there, just a quick question but I`ve noticed on an aircraft types icao, after the aircraft type theres some sort of letter (generally Q, F, L) etc etc. What do those letters at the end stand for or mean? Thanks!

This is just a question that come to my mind after trawling the Airbus X Extended forums. A thread was posted regarding a possible separate IAE engine display (as the VC currently defaults to the a321 CFM for all models) One of the Devs replied with this: I get the impression that one of those 'Other' products may be the PMDG 744 RR, as well as the BBS 'bus So, what actually goes into accurately simulating the EPR display?

PMDG, I would really love to have the ability to assign keyboard assignments to toggle the APU and ground power switches. Primarily the APU, but the ground power would also be appreciated. Hopefully this could make it into the 777 and the NGX in a future update. Thanks!
