When I log into my PMDG account to download the NGX the link is expired. What is the work around?

I have had problems with FSX so I deleted and re-installed. The Introduction Manual for the PMDG 737NGX advised to install FSX on a different directory than the default one so i tried to put it on c:éFSX but it didn`t work. I didn`t even get asked where I wanted to install and it went right back to the default. Also as per the Manual I tried to locate the Fsx.cfg file but could find it. I am not a computer whizz as you realise by now. So when I ran Fsx I got the strnage air frames instead of complete aircraft. I would like somebody to tell me in plain Englsih how to get to the Fsx.cfg file.

I was having problems with my 737NGX and I thought I would re-install FSX as per the manual. I created a directory FSX but when I went to install the computer installed it on the default directory rather than FSX, it didn`t even ask me where I wanted it stored. Then as per page 12 of the manual I tried to locate the FX.cfg file but when i did i could not open as the computer did not recognize the .cfg extension. When I tried running the 737 i got those weird airframe parts like a skeleton so i suppose that I have to amend the cfg file somehow. That's ok now, tickets are handled.. Hello, Sorry if it is the wrong place; I have issue to submit a ticket using the ticket form interface. I enter all details, click next, and my ticket doesn't appear on the ticket list. I also do not receive mail to tell my ticket has been created. Hi all, was having a look at the PMDG wikipedia's page, first of all, I don't mean to start any rumor of any kind and am fully aware that wikipedia is editable so could potentially be very misleading. Hey everyone, I know this is not totally relevent to PMDG, but this seems like the most active forum around here. Anyway, I am looking for an app for charts, proceedures, kneeboard and calculations when flying with FSX. I also hope to use this in the RW when I start my training. I have been flying the 737NG for a while and always want to be able to have a kneeboard type device to use to see the charts and proceedures accociated with that plane wihtout having to keep switching between windows. Hello everyone. I've a little issue that i don't understand. On youtube i've seen some video's about fsx. and they are using the same textures and addons as me somethimes more then me. I have: REX some mega airport X textures PMDG boeing 737-800NG ENB texture. PC Specs, CPU: I7 2600K 3.40GHz GPU: Nvidia GTX 580 MOBO: Asus P8Z68-V PRO All drivers are updated.. And my FSX is lagging a little bit.. Not very hard i can run it pretty smooth, but its not 100% smooth... LIke without any hitch... SOme people on youtube runs it 100% smooth with less specs then me.. And more addons... Do i have something wrong? WHat it might be my FSX and addons…

So yeah, a year later I finally purchased the NGX. All is working fantastically, makes me 500% more excited for the 777 on top of the 1,000,000,000% I already am :LMAO: Anyway, I was wondering if someone could help me with this, from certain angels and view points in the VC I get blurred textures & some parts clear. I have the standard Anti-analysing on and Global Textures to 100%. Here's my example of what's happening... You can see, some textures are clear, some aren't. Now when I zoom in they clear up, or if I move to the left or right slightly they might clear up. On my Nvidia settings I've set quality to 100%. Is it just my Graphics Card? (see specs …

Hi all, I'm posting this in this forum because of the high knowledge level and similar requirements that I find in here with my fellow PMDG enthusiasts. I'm finding more and more FSX at night to be unnaturally bright and the visibility too good at night to be realistic. Is there a way to tweak the settings to make the nights darker with all it means (eg darker terrain, skies, clouds etc..). I add that I use rex and gsx+utx. Hi all, I've been in this position before but cant remember the solution. Updated my GeForce 660 card driver from the NVidia site last weekend before shutting down the computer, not had the system on again until today. Now im getting the error message "This graphics card does not meet the minimum requirements for shader support. This product requires a geforce3/Radeon8500 class or better graphics card" when starting FSX. I've uninstalled the newest driver 314.21 and reinstalled the last one which worked 313.96 but still keep getting this message. Captains- Just wanted to drop a quick apology for the license control outage we had during the day, 19MAR13... During the evening of 18MAR13 (GMT) we conducted some routine maintenance to install various windows updates, check logs, update software suites and generally poke around at the health of our server systems. Hi guys; A lot of people here say they get better performance in the NGX comparing to the older PMDG 744X, a lot of people say otherwise. I agree with the latter. The situation and question is this: As PMDG continue to develop aircraft, in time, does this get more intensive on the processor/cpu, in comparison to the GPU. Currently, I have underclocked my processor from 4.7ghz to 3.8ghz as I am waiting on spare parts for my cooler. I find performance is only very slightly changed in the 747, but significantly in the NGX; thus suggesting that the NGX is more resource hungry on the processor. G'day I have been looking around at some Saitek gear for my flight sim FSX and I would like to know if Saitek works with PMDG NGX, 747X Looking at getting Saitek Pro Flight Radio Panel PZ69 and Saitek Pro Flight Switch Panel PZ55 plus the Saitek pro flight multi panel PZ70. I just would like to know if most of the buttons will work as you would think they should. PMGD's are not your stock FSX jets. I do have plans to use it with other PW stuff Airbus and that other retarded 777 that's out till the PMDG one is done. Hi all, Special for people who do not have a Facebook account, I'm reposting PMDG's new B777 cockpit picture.

I usually use level change for my descents, but latelt I've been trying to use VNAV. I keep having a problem of my NGX slowing down to almost 220knots descending through 30,000. There aren't any speed restrictions anywhere close to that, my DES page on the FMS has 263 illuminated magenta so that would be the speed it should be using right? Basicly unless I use Spped intervention, my NGX ill slow to the yellow arc on the speed dial. What's going on? Thanks,

Just doing my annual re-install of Windows 7 and FSX and am trying to install the PMDG 747. Validation fails and I don't seem to be able to login to my account on the precision manuals site. I have requested a password reset but about an hour later it still hasn't arrived - I host my own mail so it isn't being blocked and other email seems to be coming in ok - just wondering if there may be a problem? If no-one else is having issues then I'll log a support ticket, I seem to be able to login to support ok, strange.

Hi everyone, I've had this issue several time and I could solve it with Flight1 regrepair tool. But this time it didn't work. So I uninstalled the aircrafts and reboot PC and reinstalled them, but no luck. What can I do? Any advice would be appreciated. Elly (RJTT)

Hello, I was going to check to see if upgrade pricing is still available for the 747-400. I purchased it for FS9 prior to the release of FSX and have been putting off switching over. I am now ready to make the switch and was wondering if there is any discount on the FSX version for customers who have the FS9 version. I appreciate the help. Anthony
