For those of you getting really good performance from your Radeon 9700 pro, what are your settings and which ones seem to do the most good, fps-wise?Thx

I used your uninstall program to remove the aircraft and all its files.... but something Microsoft did not think of.... was when an aircraft is not available and this aircraft is the default "flight" aircraft and it is not present..... to automatically choose any plane, instead...... it fails to open the whole program.... but while I type this i think i remember the FS9 in the config... i might be able to choose another opening default flight airplane or scenario.This is not something you PMDSG did and I think i am right about situation... I'll be back to report.

PMDG: Just wanted you to know I flew from Reno to Seattle this evening using FSMeteo, and everything went fine. VNAV worked great, and the plane was real pretty in the setting Washington sun. Tracked flawlessly into 16R and taxied right up to Alaska's gate and shut her down. All in all, I am very happy with your plane, because I can fly these short trips in a 37G. Keith Whyte

Hello,I'm a new 737NG user running FS9. I need help installing navaid database into the FMC as it was not supplied with a base pack and IMHO it should of been. Here's what I've done so far:I've downloaded NAVAID files for 767PIC and created a folder in C:.../FS9/FMCWP/NAVAID - I've extracted all the files into this folder and there's still nothing in the FMC's database. I cannot import the FS2004 flight plan into the FMC without this database. Am I doing something wrong?Also, is there an option to import FS2004 flight plan without inputing it manually into the FMC? Is there a tutorial for using FMC?Last one, how do I go into the cabin of the plane?Please help.

Just trying to keep everything in one place as was done with the initial release:I just completed two flights from Tucson to Phoenix and back in FS9 and noticed some issues:1. When doing and FMC INTC CRS, the plane now correctly captures the course, however the line drawn on the ND still appears to be incorrect. I took of from KTUS RWY 29R, flew in HDG SEL for about 5 or 6 miles, turned right to 350, pulled up the FMC and line selected DUNKK to the top with a 318 INTC CRS - exactly what would be done on a real climbout from Tucson. Hey folks -I'm trying to create a SID For the Baltimore-Washington Intl. Paleo Two departure. Before starting, I made sure to read the SID/STAR Syntax guide as well as reference the files of several other SID/STARs that I had installed. Seemed straightforward and easy enough, so I go to start coding out my first SID. The Paleo Two departure with Smyrna Transition is as follows:Fly runway heading until 3 DME from BAL VORTAC, then turn left heading 150. Just want to say thanks to PMDG for a great add-on for FS2004..I had a very nice flight tonight with the 737 that i just bought a few hours ago..( Humm still have to learn that FMC wouldn`t accept my take off speed so i had to rely on the ATC to bring me home hehe )..I did finish my flight with a perfect landing ( i think it was perfect ) with the ILS....While i`m here may has well ask one question :-)I try to install new airplane or paint job but i can`t seem to find them in FS9..The installation is working no error message but can`t find them in my aircraft selection..Is this because of FS9 or something i`m doing wrong ?Thank's again PMDG for a great job..

I just did my first flight with the 737-700 and flew from KBOS to KIAD and flew with a full load of fuel.I programmed the fmc and it would keep showing a Insufficient Fuel message,I cruised at FL260.Everything else worked great was able to import my FP from FSBuild 2.1 and the plane flies great.Hope someone can let me know about this fmc problem?It would have been great to have a tutorial flight with full fmc programming. Why did you delete my (and others) post about your no refund policy? It was not abusive nor was it dishonest. The only reason I can think of is you don't want anyone to know about your no refund policy.If this gets deleted I will be posting to forums where you don't have admin rights.Yes, I am not happy.

I've tried too many times and have been unsuccessful on every attempt. For some reason I am not able to activate VNAV, always get the same annoying messages " VNAV Disconnect" & "Unable CRZ ALT". Have gone through the available FMC tutorial and I still fail this test with an "F". Would like to solicite help from other PMDG users who may have something they can share to help us novice pilots properly configure the FMC for a vertical navigation.Bob

I know there was a problem with the frame rates, in the first release, when switching windows. I know this subject has been discussed at length so I apologize for bringing it up again, but I thought this problem was addressed with SP1. We all know what the problem is, so I wouldn't get into detail, I'd just like to know how to get around the dramatic drop in fps.This is a great aircraft and I'd like to get the most out of it.Dave FisherCYYZ

Hi.. Since i moved to fs9, i can not start the left engine. (i believe) i am doind all the proceadures correctly, but - when i try to start the left engine, it spools up, but can not be startes. engine #2 starts fine. i have tried this with starting #2 first, w/out, (apu was connected properly) -- i made sure no fail's were selected on the list. i am using the new patch. plesae help... PMDG and Users:I'm attempting to test out something here. Under FS9, I recently installed the Continental Livery package for the 737NG. Began a flight at KCLE (using 2D Cockpit). Once the Flight came up, I was presented with the worst frame rates I had ever seen in Flight Simulator including my 8-bit days with Sublogic's version; a literal slide show -- the simulator was completely unusable with mouse click updates taking about 3-4 seconds each click. Hmmmm...First I thought it was the dynamic weather or may be some kind of scenery density kickin my computer in the buttocks, so there I was reducing all my eye candy settings feeling quite humbled while staring ashamedly at…

Guys:This will apply to some, but not all.I always turn on stations and airports on the EFIS panel. I discovered that with both of these on, it was costing me at least 5 FPS!!!!So, I won't been turning those on by default anymore... Hope this helps some of you.James

I've had several exchanges with PMDG by email but this problem is yet to be fixed. I have never encountered it on any livery install with any of the numerous commercial planes I have. This plane is the only one. The problem is that whenever I install a livery and fly the plane my gear will not retract. If, while flying, I load a version of the 737 which does not have a livery installed, the problem corrects itself. When I load the livery plane the problem with the gears repeats itself. I then have to completely reinstall a new aircraft cfg file because if I just delete the new livery entries the problem doesn't go away.So I removed all liveries and freshly installed PMDG …

Hi Everyone,let me first say what a great plane this is, and what a pleasure it is to fly....however, since going to fs2004 I have a new problem, even with service pack 1 installed. Everytime I use the autopilot or even just the auto throttle, my usb devices go haywire, including my cougar joystick. Then the sim, and my pc, usually hang. HiI've just bought the 737 and was told that I would receive an e-mail detailing the download location after purchase. I just made ONE little test-flight ending with a crash with the patched 737. Most of the 2 - 3 main-problems I noticed in the first place with the original PMDG 737 seem to be still there! A new bug(?): - I cannot enter any coordinates for the intial position anymore. The ones shown on the INIT-page were completely wrong (though the display on the ND was OK).Of course the IRS is not simulated, so this does not matter much anyway :-(- I still cannot enter a waypoint for missed approach into the FMC.- selecting the airport - display, the FMC still shows me all the airports squeezed on one side of the ND-display (probably some error in the navdata?)- and the most annoying bu…

When flying along on a flight plan in LNAV/VNAV, how can someone go direct from their present position to a fix (either a fix later in the route or a separate fix)? An example would be when ATC gives you a "shortcut" along your route.I know I can delete some intermediate waypoints from the FMC flight plan, but I can't delete the current active waypoint, which means I need to reach it before the airplane would head for the assigned fix.Second, I sure hope the SID/STARS get posted on the site again soon.-TimP.S.
