Hi,wanted to recreate a flight I was in about one and a half months ago - MMUN (Cancun) to MMMX (Mexico City) - of course in reality it was a MD80 or something like that :-)Therefore I downloaded the Aeromexico - livery from the PMDG-site.The 2D-version doesn't show any cockpit, the VC-version shows the cockpit normally, but the VC has transparent spots (see attachement) :-(I have looked at the aircraft.cfg, but I don't think I have made a mistake there....My 737NG is patched with the latest patch...All the my other -700 models work fine, I'm used FS2K2 for the screens.regards,Joerg

Hello Gents,From day one I had 737NG installed, except the very well known issues with VNAV-Fuel Burn etc, another issue came to my attension concerning SID's & STAR's on the FMC unit. For example, as I tried to select NEVRA1J departing rwy 03R out of Athens Greece (LGAV), on my FMC Legs page I saw that the first two waypoints (out of four in total) had a distance from the rwy 250nm and 500nm accordingly. The last two were ok. That happened to other SID's in different airports.As far as STAR's are concerned, I had the same figures in a few of them.After the installation of Update 1 everything seems to be just fine except this specific issue. Hello:I had some bugsd and then reinstalled the 737 and applied patch 1,1 everything works fine but... the FMC, in the ident page it shows that the nav data files are not vaild, i downloaded the latest nav data from stephan's link, and still no help, that happens on both fs2002 and fs9, am i missing something or am i doing something wrong? if the files need to be on a specific folder wich folders should the nav data are supposed to be installed on fs 2002 & fs9?thank you.Alex P.

Hi, i've not had an FPS issue with this plane before. When i installed the original 737 in FS2002, i got it running (for the most part) at about 15FPS (locked at 15) and occasionally dipping when very detailed bits or lots of AI came into view. Also i got the same FPS with the flight1 c152. In FS2004, the c152 now performs the same (i used it to test my settings adjustments). But after installing the 737 and SU1 the 737 is giving about 8-10FPS sometimes lower in a no clouds, low AI, no mountains, no airports situation (VC view). I thought the patch was supposed to improve FPS! what happened here? i don't know.Other than that, great plane and love the improvements the patc…

I have Richard's 304 Airac data for PIC767. On the FMC init page I can enter airports fine, but when I get to the routes page no matter what I try to enter I get the message "Not In Database." I have verified the all VOR's. MDB's, Intersections, etc ARE in the database.I am trying to add to following flight plan:KATL ATL SOONE ICBOD OTK NECOS FAGAN HITTR KRNEL LAL DBV WINCO DHP KMIAWhy won't the FMC recognize anything on the Routes page? Hi PMDG team!I have not yet had the time for extensivly test flying the panel after patch installation. But I wanted to thank you for two things already now: Patch installation was a pice of cake after downinstalling with that little tool and performing a reinstall+ service pack.And: the loading time is remarkedly reduced. I finally managed to attempt a flight in FS9 using the 737NG. Am I disappointed. I don't know if this is a FS9 problem or a PMDG problem but here's what happened.Today, I downloaded the remove.exe tool and the new SU1. I first removed the 737NG from FS9 using the remove tool. Then I reinstalled the 4 original files. I then installed the SU1 followed by the Continental textures.I set up my flight from KIAH to KTUL at 31,000 ft. I also downloaded the file bc_dark.zip that allows a cold and dark start up. I followed the Beginners Intro Tutorial for the engine start and both started up just fine. ATC cleared me to taxi to runway 15L. I was running frames per second i…

HiI was looking at some screenshots and I just couldn't resist and I took the plunge and purchased the 737Ng pack. I love the 737. Also I just got my FS2004 yesterday here from Avsim.Anyway, so I have downloaded the files today. Dear PMDG-I have an ATI radeon 9800 PRO 128mb card, and I think it is giving me huge problesms, first off whenever I select a menu, any menu from full screen view in FS9 (I need to press ALT to bring up the menu bar), the screen flickers uncontrollably. Second, when I try to access the extend registration menu from the PMDG options, It does not bring up the menu. (I do have SP1 Installed). Also, the menus dont "refresh", for example, If i have my pointer over aircraft, and i drag to world, the aircraft menu stays on the screen, and the world menu simply drops as well, the old menus never dissapper (this is in FS, in Internet explorer it is fine)I am not sure if all of t…

Hey Guys ... first let me say this is my Favorite FS Addon to date :) You guys did a heck of a job !! The only issue I appear to be having since installing the Aircraft into FS9 and applying the SP1 is that the Overhead Panel seems to "hide" behind the main panel ? I have tried to remove the patch with your Uninstaller and re installed but no luck.. I thought it may have been FS9 so I even re installed it but same deal.. The plane still works ok it is just a pain to have to hit Shift-2 and hide the main display to use all of the Overhead Panel functions.. I have used the removal tool, reinstalled to FS2002, re-registered, ran SU1 patch for FS2002 (correcting the install path to remove the appended Flight Simulator 9 folder) and received the following error message "The file C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFS2002PMDG737gauges.ini is not a valid previous version and could not be upgraded". After pressing the OK button the upgrade terminates. Why would I get this from a clean install and how can it be corrected?

For the most part, I'm very satisfied with the advances made with the first service pack. There are however some issues (perhaps) that I'd like to share with PMDG and the community to see if there are similarities.I've decided to show the areas where I have troubles according to phases of flight where it may be easier to troubleshoot. I've looked at all textures on the NG. you guys are using a lot of 32 bits BMP's, and they are huge. I used imagetools.exe and converted the bigones into dxt3 textures. Their're 1/3 the size. It sure looks the same, but you earn a lot of fps. my texture folder is now under 32 megs. Why not use dxt3 textures all over the aircraft?Jan Roar R

PMDG/All,Whilst running the SP1 update on FS2002 I received an error message that the PMDG_737NG_THR_CENTER_CONSOLE/GAU file couldn't be updated. The update otherwise completed satisfactorily.However, on loading the 737 and pressing T the image below is displayed. Clearly the sides of the gauge have been lost. I have two questions I have been thinking about for quite a time:I always had a problem with the ND Wind Indicator. Which way does the wind blow? With the arrow, or towards it?And, this gets me even more confused: Setting wind direction to 90deg in FS2004, that obviously means the wind are coming from the East. OK. When I check in the 737 ND, I see 270deg as the wind direction....? Something to do with absolute and relative direction, I know, but me head are just locked regarding this issue...Hope somebody are able to put me straight here :)
