Hi,I have installed the service pack for fs2002, but now I can't engage the VNAV, when I push the button, and in the FMC appears the following message : "UNABLE CRZ ALT". I used the FL250 from LGAV to LGRP about 250miles. So there are "zero" estimated fuel quantity at some waypoint until arrival airport in the PROG page.Thank you very muchFriendlyPaul

Before I installed SP1 the registration key was moved from FS9/modules folder to the PMDG folder. Do I now have to move them back into the modules folder?Dave F.CYYZ

Hi Folks,I tried to reinstall all files including SP1 from a clean base.So I erase all files, folders and registry-entries of PMDG.After reinstalling the base files, the installer asked for thelicence directory - all looked fine.But when I try to activate any of the entries in the PMDG menuin FS2002 nothing happens. They are not calling up any screens,incl. the extended registration menu.So unfortunally I cannot reactivate my licence.Any ideas ?Best regards from GermanyThomas CFG332

Hi, folks.Had problems with the SU1 install and found I couldn't boot up PMDG in FS2002 (screen locked up), so I manually deleted PMDG files/folders as per Randy's instructions. NB: Registration number folder still in Modules. Reinstalled PMDG 737NG without patch. Panel worked as per normal.On second attempt at an SU1 install, the message INVALID MACHINE CODE popped up...and install locked there. Had to use XP's Task Manager to get out of it.Used the Search function to find info on this message, but none seem to relate to the patch and this message.Any ideas? The patch download appeared to run smoothly using DAP 5.3 despite taking 90 minutes (15,263Kb zip file).Thanks.Che…

I have a real 737 t/quad wired up and all worked perfect n FS2K2 and FS9. That is until I just installed the PMDG737 and patch in FS9. Now all the flaps go to full flaps and stay there? Tried recalibrating in my Payware FSUIPC to no avail as it shows everything is ok? ANy ideas? Thanks,ROb

Hello PMDG,Just had a nice flight, and I'm posting some comments about the current state of the aircraft.1. Landing lights are too bright and wash out everything. If the landing lights looked like the taxi lights do now, and the taxi lights were dimmer, it'd be great. Not sure how much control you have over that.2. Kinda disappointed in the clickable VC - even if you're not going to enable every switch and button (I can understand that), there are a few controls that make VC flying very pleasant: landing, taxi, and strobe lights, as well as engine starters are all nice to have when you're entering or leaving the runway and don't want to block your whole view with the…

Ater insalling SP1, the sim wouldn't load. I'll choose the model from he directory, but when I click "fly" the sim locks up (FS9). I had no problems before I insalled he SP. During the SP insall I had To move the registration key out of FS9 module folder to the PMDG folder and left them there. I just wanted to say thanks to all our hard working friends here at PMDG. :-beerchug I really appreciate all the hard work and great support you guys have put in these past few days. I'd say this doesn't happen often, but I'd be wrong. At least in this forum I would. You guys always go the extra mile for us, and are much to under appreciated. :) Thank you.As far as the new patch.. Its great! I just did a short hop from KSHV to KDFW and the jet performed perfectly. When takeing off, the EICAS shows CLB and upon raching cruise, it correctly displays CRZ. Then when VNAV starts the descent, the EICAS does not swtich to DES on the display. In fact all the way to touchdown it never switches over to DES. Is there something I am doing wrong? VNAV works very well for me and all waypoints hit there mark for spd/alt and such, it will just not display DES in the EICAS display?

I just did my first install into FS9 started FS9 and the 737NG crashes FS9...one of the overhead gauges. I added the service pack from PMDG and the same thing happens.I do have the PMDG running well in FS2002, I added the service pack into that was taxing for take off and had a CTD....never happened before....I think I may have to go back to EA Sports F1 Challenge. This is getting way to complicated...I am still waiting for my registration code for FSUIPC.Oh WellTony

Hi,just purchased the 737 today and I am really impressed. Works fine for me so far, but I have a slight (minor) problem under FS2004. The taxi light shows a big dark square, which is not visible in FS2002. Hi Everyone,I have a Flight Sim Yoke USB and a Homemade twin engine throttle control. I gathered from the FSUIPC manual I can assign functions to axes. What I want to do is assign the spoilers to the throttle control of the Flight Sim Yoke USB so that accurate spoiler control of the PMDG 737NG is possible and the reversers of the left and right engine to the Prop and Mixture Axes of the Flight Sim Yoke. Is this possible, and does someone have a quick and dirty way of helping me do that, because the FSUIPC menu doesn't seem to be too intuitive for that, and the user manual just confused the crap out of me.ThanksShane Lewis

PMDG Team,Great job on the patch. I held off loading the 737 into FS2004 until the patch. Did so this afternoon and everything seems to work well. Do have one question. In 3d Cockpit view, it seems like the Autothrottle, FD Switch, Alt Change etc buttons/switches don't work with the mouse click. Have to go to 2D to make position changes on them. I get the "pointy finger" icon in 3d view but no changes when I click. Is this normal?Again, great job. Having a ball with this thing in FS2004!George Stoddard

I just tried a flight from KBWI to KMIA. My Flight level was set to 31000 ft. But when it got to FL310 (I was in VNav by the way)it pitched up to 8000 fps and needless to say the plan stalled. Just thought I would pass this one. Hoping someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm using FS2004

hi all, i would really like to purchase this bird from PMDG but am quite concerned about whether or not I am going to get a slide show given my system-specs are Athlon 1.2, 768 mb pc133 ram, ATI 7500 64 mb ram. also does the recent update improve things in the performance area?

I asked about this the other day and got no satisfactory answer from anyone.Look at the screenshot below and notice the error message. Why is this happening even after the SU1 release has been properly installed. It is also happenning on the Arrival side of the gauge and not only at KSEA but many others.I have placed the NAVDATA info and SIDSTAR info into the same exact place in FS9 they were located in FS2002 and still get the error message and it also now appears in FS2002 where it didnt before I installed the NG into FS9.This seems to be my only problem and is keeping me from that long cross country flight.....Please Help.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/27460.jpgRan…

Before your start sequence pres CTRL-SHFT-F4. It seems that the FS fuel control is somehow linked to engine #1 and most of us have this in the cutoff position so #1 refuses to start.Let me know if this helps.James

As my fuel problem may have been a bug that has been fixed, and because it does not seem to have solved my problem I'm thinking of re-installing from scratch.Has the patch been incorporated into the main files? Not quiet a PMDG Question, but FS2004 Shows blocks of light & distorted colours etc... when I Reach Cruise altitude. I think its a driver prolem I Use NVIDIA Geforce 2MX with 1.3mhz Windows ME, Could anybody tell me where to get the Latest Drivers & what to look for ????Best RegardsKevs

Greetings,I tried to install the service update and ran into a problem. I searched the forum and could find nothing that pertained to this. I have both FS2002 and FS2004 installed on the same drive, which should not make any difference. When I went to install the base NG737 into FS2004, halfway through the install it asked me to insert Disc 2. I didn't do this to me when I installed it into FS2002.I then used selective startup, disabled my virus scanner and got the same result when I tried another install. Lastly, I removed NG737 from FS2002 thinking that maybe it was causing a conflict. Still no luck, now it won't even let me install it back into FS2002 without askin…
