Hi,I'm a new kid on this block, and could really do with a tutorial to get me in the air. Does anyone know of one that has been done for this bird?I would need it to be an idiotproof, step by step affair, including all FMC entries.Perhaps a short leg, say EGLL to EHAM, or similar.ThanksPaul ( SPIM )

What happened to me, I want to start Engine #2 first, but when I click on the starter of No.2, nothing happened, so I have to click on No. 1 instead, however, the N2 goes up to 13 and stop, engine could not be started no matter how many times I tried. Any clue for me?

Can't seem to work any switches in the VC besides those on the main panel -- is this by design?I'm a little nervous asking the question because I don't want to hear that this is something I'll have to shell out more money for in the next "phase"...Ghttp://members.rogers.com/gmoffatt/images/ERJ_CRT.jpg

Hi PMDG,i have probs after pathing the B737.FPS:My FPS drops dramatically in the outside view.2D is ok.Autopilot:during climb the plane is 'bobbing' up and down and the speedtape shows arrow up, arrow down, arrow up, arrow down. It happens 3000 to 2000ft before selected Altitude is reached. If the aircraft is loaded the 'bobbing' effect increases. My Specs are:German Win2000 SP3, German FS2002, AMD 2.6, MSI-Board, 1GB RAMi have set the decimal seperator to pointread you... Migh

Anyone else getting this? I have both FS2002 and FS9 installed, reinstalled the NG in 2002, patched it, installed it in FS9, patched it there as well. Tried to run it in 2002, and got a blank black screen right after the splash screen appeard for a few seconds. System locked up, had to restart. It can be used in both sims on the same machine right? Any ideas?Gonna go try it in 2004...Oh by the way - saw something both the main installer and the patch installer that could be very confusing to figure out if you weren't very attentive - when askign for the path, it autodetects C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9 if you have FS2004 installed as well as 2002. …

Hi all and sorry for my poor english!I'm learning to use this wonderfull aircraft, and I've noticed a little problem (I think so but I could be wrong...). I use a separate axis to deploy speedbrakes. It works on the ground. In the air if I deploy them partially, I can also retract them. If I deploy them totally, I can't retract them. I turn back the axis but nothing happen. The only solution I've found is to make a sudden left or right move of the joy (wich is not possible with autopilot, unfortunatly). Does anyone have this kind of issue?Ok, I'll go back flying this masterpiece waiting for an answer.ByeStefano Caspani

Hi,In the Intro tutorial for engine startup, it says that the airplane should be entirely shut down. If it is not, it should be reloaded. I can't get my airplane to be fully shut down though. Whenever I load the sim the plane is always running. How do I get it to be shut down on startup? Do I have to turn on an option like I do with the PSS Airbus? Thanks for any help.

Dear PMDG team,I was really looking forward to your patch and thank you for all your effort. When I installed PMDG for the first time, I had to reinstall my whole PC, because PMDG screwed up my system. At least, that's what I think. It worked perfect before for a long time. Today, I installed PMDG again and I am really glad, that I made backup before, because I had to restore it. My system was screwed up again. Now, I have it up and running again but I discovered the following problem. When I switch to the 737-700 (whatever version), FS2002 crashes. The strange thing is, it PMDG works when I select the 737-600.Do you have any clue?Regards, Mark

I have installed my version of the 737 and updated as per the instructions. The installed moved the file and everything worked fine for a while.I then thought I would delete the file that had been moved and now I cant install or use the 737.What can I do...I must admit this process has been tedious from the start. It has now taken me 1 hour to set up the damn thing and still its not working. Please HELP.RegardsKeith

Dear PMDG Team,I just downloaded your service update package and saw that you finally added an End User License Agreement to your installation software, which I recommeded you in several emails and a message in this forum, that it is missing. Therefore you called inflamatory, dishonest and immature and never answered my emails I sent you concerning the topic EULA, at least you considered it and added it to the service update. This should prevent unnecessary trouble in the future and is more fair to your customers....so I want to say "Thank you PMDG!".regards,Christian M.

First my system: Dell P4 2.0ghz, 512MB RAM, GeForce 4600 (128MB) and Win XP Home.Pros: -Fuel problem fixed. Fuel flows are exact (just make sure when the CTR tank runs dry, you flip it off because for some reason, if you forget to shut off the center fuel pump selectors, both eng shut down even if the right/left selectors are on..probably operator error on my part).-FPS...better. I am using the Continental livery on the -700 without winglets..getting same frame rate with the 2D/VC model in both views. Only significant FR hit is when in spot plane view, the model itself from the outside makes my frames go down about 5.-Memory usage....still high. My system shows around 700…

I installed the new upgrade this morning and followed the instructions given, but didn`t give too much attention to the license mover info, just said yes to all. No problemns at this stage.Problem: When I started fs 2002 the PMDG 737 loaded, but when I pressed the "fly now" button, the screen went black.Fs 2002 for the other planes runs like normal. When searching in different files about registration, the msg "failed to create a licence path" appears. Can someone help me with this problem please!Geir Lovlie

Seems many of you have not installed the update correctly, this can be tricky so follow these examples if trying to put it into FS2002 ;)If you have both you WILL be greeted with this path, by default the installer will see FS9, we will change it to point correctly, CLICK BROWSEhttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/27296.jpg Now you see the path, CLICK ON FS2002, go to next screen shothttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/27297.jpgNow, see that I REMOVED the incorrect PATH and put this one, the only thing after MICROSOFT should be FS2002 like this picturehttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/27298.jpgNow it asks this, CLICK YEShttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/27299.jpgYou will…

When running a dual boot computer the licence mover defaults to c:program files. In my case the win98 partition. And of course I want it to be my XP partition. So look carefully where you want to install the license folderwhen moving it, the default can be wrong.Hans van den Dungen

I tried to install PMDG 737NG in FS2004. First I got the "PMDGOptions.dll" error, but sortet that out quickly by searching the forums here. Now I got another problem. I can't register it! When I first load the Aircraft I get "Failed to create licence path", and after that a message that my 737NG is not registered. (Which is correct) During loading of the flight the "Failed to create licence path" error comes several times, and also when the panel pops up I have to remove the message like 10 times. Then, when I try to "extend registration" the error also comes, and I don't get the window with the computer generated code. So therfore I can't register!!I thought it might be…
