Hi Robert and rest of the gang,I have a BIG problem :( I have purchased the 737TNG and the confirmation email, password, license key etc mails were on my ISP's mail server. I did not download it onto my home computer. When I got up this morning ALL my mails were gone from the server and I had no copy or backup of these mails.I know you are busy with the patch and all but once you guys are free, is there any way I can be assisted in this problem. I have no record of the purchase confirmation # or the password, therefore I am at a wits end as to how to proceed in the future for any updates, reinstalls etc as I have no proof of purchase. Thanks a ton, no hurry to solve but j…

Hello fellow simmers, :)It sounds like Roberts last post is a hesitant release of the patch with caviouts. Well in case you guys don't know it professional pilots don't take any chances, this is the effects of a perfectionist. I took 1 full-time year of professionall flight training in PanAm, Phoenix Az. Professional pilots KNOW exactly what is going to happen before each swith or control input is touch, that is a given fact. You should all feel the product WILL be shortly if not in this Service Pack release as perfect as possible. After reading Roberts last post, it reminded me of the Perfectionism that our US airline have. Yes, Robert is a full-time airline jet captain …

Ladies and Gents,Currently, we are running some final tests on the PMDG737NG Service Pack 1 Installer to ensure that it runs smoothly, and does everything we intend for it to do.For those of you burning the midnight oil and pushing your browser's refresh button like a junky rabbit at its feedbar, I am unable to say exactly when it will be released tonight, but I can almost guarantee that it will be available by the time you swallow your last spoonful of Corn Flakes on Saturday Morning (or your last spoonful of dessert for those of you across the pond). Keep checking in though, because it could be any minute.Thank you all for your patience. I hope you all enjoy the patch…

HiI was thinking of buying the NG and was wondering what the folks here think of it as 40 Dollars is a bit on the high side but it does look interesting. How is the flight model and avionics as this is most important to me as opposed to visuals. Thanks in advance for any replies.Kurt

Just curious. Since Active Camera is going payware now, will there be a way to view the detailed passenger cabin in the NG without purchasing this additional program? Andrew

Hey guys:Since the patch seems to be nearing release, I want to buy the 737. However, the only card I have is an AmEx, and your system doesn't accept it. Is there any way for me to purchase using my credit card?BTW, if you need to contact me privately, do so via PM, since the E-mail my AVSIM account is tagged to is down at the moment. Thanks.Cheers,[a href=http://sgair.net" target="_blank]http://sgair.net/mike/banners/daniel_small.jpg [/a]Click the Banner to visit the FFX Website.

HiYesterday I made my PMDG737 flyable in FS9 by tweaking down the FS settings to Medium low. Having a low-end computer (800MHz/384Mb, gf3/128Mb) that made heck of a difference. Seeing FPS' around 6-20.Anyway. Ready for takeoff and throtteling up to T/O power I got a master caution regarding Hydraulic. Checked the EICAS and the HYD PRESS was way above the red. Also the O/H panel cautioned about OVERHEAT on the HYD SYS. Shutting down the ELEC pumps did nothing, but by shutting off the ENG driven pumps I managed to get the PRESS down to normal. At CRZ level and CRZ N1 I re-engaged the engine driven pumps and the press was back to normal. Seems like the HYD PRESS get's too hi…

In Short, yes. It appears that Microsoft has not implemented a moving camera in FS9, so if you wish to view the cabin, you will need the latest shareware version of Active Camera for FS9. The Active Camera guys have really produced something that makes the VC worth being in: it is well worth the price.VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.vinscimone.com/blueguymend.jpg

Guys and Gals,Im not normally one for jumping into debates, but I felt that I had to say a few words.Until recently I held the post of ECP (Executive In Charge of Production) at Electronic Arts, the worlds largest most profitable software entertainment company with yearly revenues of $xx billion dollars. And guess what, when some of our products shipped very shortly afterwards we found they had to be patched. With the best will in the world and beta test teams (who were paid full time beta testers soak testing a product from dawn till dusk everyday) numbering into hundreds of testers bugs found their way into products. It is the nature and complexity of products that this …

Hi, I'm planning to buy this aircraft, and am wondering if the update will be an incremental patch (so I might as well download the product files now), or if the product files themselves are going to be updated as well (so I should wait for the update release before downloading). Thanks in advance for advice on this. Hi guys,I was at a buddies house a few weeks ago watching a cockpit DVD of a Varig 737NG. During landing, the GPWS callouts sounded different from the default Boeing callouts. They sounded deeper and for a lack of a better description almost "mellow." Did the PMDG team get the GPWS sounds from the 737NG CBT? I can't believe Boeing would actually have a customer option for the GPWS voice.Anyway, just something I thought I'd mention. It would be great hear them if it's possible. A minor issue I know ... but then again maybe not so minor by some standards. That is if you're a crazed, MSFS nut who nit picks every detail so developers and technology makers are constantly…

Great plane, great piece of software... But a lot of questions here.1- What happened to the manual??? Oh yes, I have downloaded the manual, installed it and took it a step further and had a copy of it printed. But it seems there is something missing. What happened to the FMC-manual...? I find the buttons and LSK explained but how to create a flightplan??? Nowhere to be seen or I must be completely blind. I can't see a novice simmer get away with this one if the most important piece of manual is missing.2- I find an IRS-panel... but is it working? I don't think so because when I open it there are some knobs and switches missing (not even drawn when I come to think of it)3-…

Hi Gents,This is not a bug (begin breathing again) ;-) Rather a feature that, in my opinion, would be of enormous benefit. With 767PIC (sorry I know the references must become annoying...) when you save a flight, not only the location and basic configurations (e.g. engines running) are stored. Panel settings such as the position of light switches, bleed valves etc; FMC data such as Route and Transition Altitude; and MCP windows' values for instance the MCP altitude are all saved with the flight.I may be the only one(?), but when I load a flight with 737TNG such settings are not restored. The MCP ALT defers to 10,000ft, speed window to 100 if memory serves; FMC data is a…

Hi,I've experienced difficulties to reengage both throttle levers if I inadvertedly have disengaged one. Pressing E+1,2 in any combination or any fashion does not help. I get stuck with controlling one of the levers.I've seen this problem both in FS2k2 and in FS9. And I haven't found any other work-around than restarting the sim. I'm beginning to think this is related to some of us having difficulties with the doors. Could it be some kind of timing, processing error i.e. the PMDG737 logic will not recieve the key presses in a way that it can interpret. Could be caused by my rather slow computer (800Mhz/384Mb)?Just some thoughts. Anyone else experienceing this?Regards,EDIT…

I experienced a problem when installing new liveries in FS2004 using the autoinstaller. The fuselage liveries of all the PMDG 737's disappear! When copying the texture folders from FS2002 into FS2004 they appear again. But as soon as I install a new livery directly in FS2004 with the auto installer the problem occurs again.Hopefully this is FS2004 related and the problem has been noticed by your team and there is a fix for this in the patch.I just thought I post this message in case you didn't noticed.Regards, Haromo

Can anyone tell when ll be more livery available?Am checking the website a few times a day but nothing aprox when?

Hello everybody! Congratulations to such a great add-on for the FS. I really enjoy simming with your 737.I have a problem concerning the engine start procedure. I followed the instructions in the "normal procedures" checklist but I can start only engine "2". Engine "1" does not start. There are some problems with the oil pressure which does not rise. I have a "dual bleed" message after having started engine "1" because I use the APU to start. Packs are off, bleeds are on, isolation valve is open.Does anybody have an idea? Thanks for helping me!
