Hi PMDG,I e-mailed your support address about my installtion: I can't find the C:Program FilesPMDG Simulations folder, even after a fresh install, and my license is still invalid (from a BIOS change) even after a complete removal and reinstall. I can't even get a transfer code, the DLL doesn't let me.Thanks, Mark

Howdy fellow simmers! First off, I can't express my elation with the 737NG on the forums too well since there is no REAL way to express emotions, but I would just like to say that with it and FS2004, climbing through clouds, I honestly get that tingly *I'm flying* feeling. . .your product is TRULY awesome! Now for my quick question:Is there any "direct to" functions in the FMC? I've been cruisin' around Long Beach and after taking off and reaching 1500' turning left to 180 to than intercept my flight FMC programmed route to AVX. But instead of flying completely out to Catalina, in the real world ATC will usually clear a "direct to" especially if one is flying east. I …

It keeps giving me the following error message from the previous flight "APPROACH VREF NOT SELECTED".How do I clear the CDU?Any ideas? Claus

Guys,What a beautiful plane... I love the look and feel of the virtual cockpit especially with Active Camera.I have noticed however a few problems in the virtual cockpit:1. Not all buttons and knobs have animation or illuminated while the do so in the 2D cockpit. For example the FD knob, if I click it I can see it is activated in the PFD but the knob did not switch on. In the 2D however it is on. (???) 2. The clickable zones to turn the rotating knobs like heading, speed etc are very very small and difficult to identify and use. 3. On the navigation display the information on VOR1 and VOR 2 in the bottom left and right corner are not readable completely because the image i…

Hi PMDG,I just tested your last updated SU1 and somehow it acts strange. I got no APU indication (737-700), VNAV not following speed restrictions, VNAV dive, etc.NONE of these ocurred with your original SU1. I did follow all the procedures (deinstall, fresh instal, SU1.1. application without errors). I checked SID/STAR and they had NO alt/spd restrictions.I *think* that somehow bugs from your original 737 installation sneaked in SU1.1. but they were eliminated in SU1.Can you please check this? For the time being I am back to my Nirvana, aka. SU1 with manual deinstallation/installation/patch :-badteeth SU1 works as charm!

First off want to say thank you to PMDG for this awesome patch, things are operating MUCH more smoothly now, FPS shot way up and the bugs have pretty much all been cleared up.I do have one issue and I think I saw someone else report it but didn't see a reply...and this only seems to happen with this plane. Every once in a while for no apparent reason the sound goes crazy, I won't be doing the same thing always it's random but all of a sudden the sound completely distorts and sounds VERY static. It's not an FPS issue because i'm posting 20+ FPS so it's not a memory issue I don't think. Does anyone know what I can do?Thanks in advance and again PMDG good work!!Jason

Hy all, tonight i've tried to verify how much memory use on my system the 737NG.I've a big problem using the 737NG (already patched) regarding the texture loading during approach. When i landing, the texture loading is realy slowly and i land ever in a grass strip ...I've downloaded the beatifull tool "CacheMan", FREEWARE form this site : http://www.outertech.com/Using this tool i've verify that the 737NG use ALL my system memory and just for that probabily the texture loads very slowly ...Look the picture ...My system is not new, and is composed byAthlon AMD XP 1.7Mhz386 Mb RAMGeForce 2 MMX 64MbI want to upgrade initialy the system RAM, but i want to know how much RAM memo…

Hi guys,I need some help.It took sometime to me to decide to buy this plane. And I'm impressed with the quality, and believe me, I'm quite hard judging this. But as far as support continues to keep us informed and seeing the effort they are doing, I don't blame anyone at PMDG. Keep the good work.Of course I have some little things to point to, specially the hard fps killer this plane is, specially on add-on sceneries (at least on my machine), but there is one quite aukward that is anoying me:Sometimes when I get on board, I make the flightplan, prepare the FMC, and specially, I set the fuel. But!!!!! The left tank on 80% of the times, or doesn't let me change the quantity…

Hi all,I've been having a bear of a time with autoland and have yet to capture a localizer at any airport.I have a feeling my problem is my hard core knowledge of Fly!'s PMDG 777, Dreamfleet's 737, and PSS's 777.I have those procedures ingrained in my head so much I wonder if there is a step that I am missing due to the increased(?) complexity of the PMDG 737NG versus the aformentioned aircraft packages.I've looked through these forums at the other autoland threads and followed them to the letter (albeit, none of them are very detailed).Let's do this the easy way. Can someone lend me a hand with a simple step-by-step write up (push this, push that, do this, do that, DON'T…

Excellent way of doing it Robert. The SU1 will get the majority of us back flying with the plane with no problems. Looking forward to gettting no sleep tonight.Secondly, I would like to introduce everyone to Vin's blue blob's long lost brother, green blob. He was found wandering in cyber space. He wishes his bother well in his recovery from that recent knife attack.

Thank you PMDG for the great work on the service release! Robert was quite right in saying that the plane is now 100% more stable.Great job!!One question though...I am unable to enter a missed approach fix on the legs page or the route page. The FMC will not allow me to enter anything after the RWY entry.Perhaps I am missing something or this is the way the FMC on the 737 is designed.Any help would be appreciated!

Greetings...Rather than bombard an email address which may not be seen right now, is there anyone answering registration emails?I sent in a transfer request on Saturday morning *correcting* a request from Friday, and have yet to receive a code in reply. Is registration taking a vacation? Speaking of - are they in the UK or are they in the USA?(Due to bouncing to Windows to clear the registration message, I think my 737NG is having some issues. While I can use the product for another few days without response, it is a most irritating problem)I'll be looking forward to their email,-Greg Germanowski [email protected]

General infoI have been struggling with very low fps (8-10 max) in FS9 and then when the patch came out it refused to load. I tracked the problem down to a file in the windows/system32 directory that was installed by my Kensington Expert Mouse Pro The file is kmw_dll.dll. I renamed it and the patch loaded without any more problems and FS9 fps went up to 20-23 on the ground and much higher in the air. Smooth as anyone could wish for.My system is D865Perl Intel mobo, P4 3.0G CPU and Radeon 9800.I will call Kensington tomorrow and see if they can help as I have to leave the filename changed when using FS9.Tom

Gents:Something just started happening yesterday that I haven't seen before. After taking a flight from Moscow to Talinn in the SSW A310, after I exited FS2k2 to the desktop and then went to shut down my computer, the computer issued a window telling me that fs2002.exe was still running and needed to be shut down. I went into task manager under the processes tab and saw that fs2002.exe was still "processing" and I selected it and hit the end process button. I was then able to shut down the computer normally. This had never happened before. Today it is doing the same thing no matter which airplane I'm flying. In fact, in the processes tab good ol' fs2002.exe is still…

Hi all,I remember reading posts where the plane took a real long time to load. How are things now after the service pack? I read that the memory footprint has been reduced with the patch. Looking at the screenshots forum, there are lots of excelent pics of the NG..Thanks again for the infoJohn

No you dont, however i did, I found that my plane would die (battery die) in FS2004, so i registered the latest FSUIPC and turned the battery feature on to extent the battery life to unlimited.Hence my plane no longer dies :)Have Fun,Regards Sean

Hello,I have been going lately through terrible problems with my computer lately, and after finding the solution, I flashed my BIOS, with succes, but in the adventure I completely forgot to entend my registration key. While I am writing this, I am also downloading the lates version of the SU1, from PMGD web site.So could someone tell me if I should re-register the 737 before applying the SU with prior to it the remooval tool, or should I wait, and re-register after the complete and brand new fresh install. Thanks for the help, that why checklist are made for...Cpt Cyrille de Lattrewww.corporateaviationservices.comP IV 2.4 GHZ/1.5 GHZ SDRAM/ATI RADEON 9700 128 MEG/

Hi,This morning I tried to reproduce the VNAV error, and of course I wasn't able ;) Somehow I managed to engage VNAV.Nevertheless there were some other errors :1. This one already was reported but still excists:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/28021.gifWhen loading an saved flightplan and pressing the 'Departure' RSK in the TakeOff REF page, this error occurs in the Departures page.It can be solved by selecting the runway in the RTE page first, but it should also work this way.2. Insufficient Fuel warning.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/28023.gifAs you can see I have more than enough fuel (7.4T) but still I get a insufficient fuel message.Maybe it was caused because …

Willem, I read in one of your posts a message about tutorials. Please tell me you are working on at least one, step by step tutorial. It would ease my learning curve dramatically if you are, and I am sure it would help many others here as well. ( Particularly FMC operation, in my case )Paul ( SPIM )
