Hi,Anyone knows hoe to make a VOR DME approach but automatic? Like you have GS in the ILS approach, you have FPA in the VOR APP and how to do it via-FMC. How do you intercept a radial in a certain distance automatically and not writing it on the legs page? Can we use the fix section of the FMC?Coimbra

OK guys I am really getting frustrated with this FMC. I want to fly a route from CYVR to CYYC. I use the FS9 flightplanner tool to give me the route ,then I rename it simply CYVRCYYC. when i go to enter this name in the CO Route all I get is a message "NOT IN DATABASE". does the flightplan have to copied to some folder within the PMDG folder in FS9 ? also where is FS9 saving flightplans because there does not seem to be a MY Flights folder anymore? appreciate your ehlp so i can actually start to fly this bird!! Hi all,I went to www.navdata.at as instructed and all I got was a blank page with a single line of text:"A new web was born!"What's up with that? Has the site moved? I really want to be able to use my FMC, why is the database no longer on PMDG's site? Can anybody suggest an alternate place to download it?Thanks,Marc

Great job PMDG for all the hard work and dedication on this new a/c. I love flying it and is tons of fun.Two things I have found that could make this even better.1. When the main landing gear retract into the bays, there is a huge gap between the wheels and the fuselage bottom. The wheels should be very tightly fit in there with very little room. I was just wondering if you could make the gear holes smaller in diameter so the wheels fit better in there.2. The next one but is not a major concern at all is the curve of the engine pylons. The real NG has engine pylons actually rise up some above the wing and then start smoothly down to the engine. Your NG has no rise at…

Hi guys,small questionis it my system or is it known that when at night, switching on the landing lights in 2D view hogs alot of performance out of my puter, don't have the same with the taxilights. The sound starts breaking up and stuttering...any help?(i now fly using taxilights only, no prob for me but if it can be fixed and you guys are willing to, why not ;-))Cheers

This plane usually serves Brisbane from Nadi, so I've seen it a few times. It actually flew for Qantas for a while too! Hi!Just got my copy of FS9 and first thing i want to know was, how would the PMDG737 looklike here.Well, the installation went well i downloaded the latest updates and had no problems. I started FS9 and loaded 737-600 with 2D, VC & Cabin to look how the performance is. On RWY 35 at LGKR (Korfu, Greece) with all Sliders up i got 20-25 FPS (with real world weather) at a resolution of 1280x1024x32 (no antialiasing). The VC is great. i took of and made some similar flying without testing the FMC or Autopilot i only flew manual. My first impressions are great. The graphic of FS9 is wonderful, the weather and ATC looks very good too. Ill test the Plane now more deeply to lo…

Gents, I dont know if anyone has noticed, but on the external -700 Model, Stairs and Winglets, the left Main Gear is out of centre, the wheels wobble, compared to the Right Main gear, i always use the VirginBlue livary, but it doesnt seem to be the textures..Could anyone confirm this?Cheers,Sean

Folks, 1) Please can someone enlighten me on how one adds a Lat/Long waypoint to the flight plan? I have tried various formats but all I get is 'Not in Database'. What is the correct format and method?2) If one creates a fix by, say, place/bearing/distance, is it then possible to add this created fix to the flightplan? How?3) Is it correct that the flight plan display (the magenta line) does not disappear behind the last waypoint passed? I thought I remembered other systems where this happened, but in the 737NG the entire flight plan magenta line is there throughout the flight although the waypoints that have been passed are not accessible any more in the FMC. I am unable to set the V1 speed at the top of airspeed indication (ref. "Normal Procedures" manual - page 8 "Final Flight Deck Preparation. I have checked and double-checked the CDU/FMC settings..the V2 settings are set in the CDU and on the MCP IAS/MACH display...but to no avail.So, when I press the TO/GA screw - the aircraft accelearates smartly down the runway and when we reach rotation speed it throttles back and starts slowing down...What am I missing (see attched screenshots)? Finally I've got everything to work with this bird and completed my first full flight. I must say I'm very impressed with it, the only concern I have is the framerate within the 2D, VC and spot view. Flying in P4 2.8C, 1G DDR, Ti4600 and the frames are dropping to 7 or even 6, it shouldn't be dropping like this, I hope we can solve it soon. Other than it, I'll give it strong B+.

Hi PMDG, all,I am noticing something that gives me a hint that FS9 has changed the way gauges are handled. Previously, if text and other lines were not make large enough, they would "break up" and become broken lines on the gauge/panel. I think, as a result, FS2002 gauge designers had to make sure their fonts and lines were thick. I *think* that this may not be a problem in FS9 now and, thus, at 1280 x 1024 on a Radeon 9700 Pro, and in FS9, thinks look a little "fuzzy." Ok i finally got the FMC working lol i mean i learn how to use it :-)I did a few ILS landing without problem..I only had one problem tonight when trying to land at KORD 32R each time i had the Glide scope correctly but when i was like 25 feet from the ground the autopilot engaged and i did a miss approach, i retry then the samething happen again. So i quit and decided to ask if anyone else is experiencing this problem at other airport..Probably something i`m doing wrong but had no other problem on the landing i made at other airport ?Thanks

Hi, folks-Sean posted a request for help (with screenshots, even) about his CDUs going black even though he had APU or ground power established to the AC.I didn't see a reply, but I'm having the same problem- after ~5 min, my CDUs, FMC and external lights go black even though I have full power on the overhead panel and all busses read powered.Did anyone have a solution?-Simon Binder

I've looked through the manuals, and can't find any reference to an audio panel, that will let me hear the marker beacons, select com radios, etc.My radio panel (with SU1) just gives me the two com, two vhf, adf, and transponder, and the weather control, and it looks incomplete, like there should be an audio panel at the top.Am I missing something?If there is no audio panel, can I use other radio gauges instead, or are the provided ones required for the aircraft to function?
