Explain to me why in real 737-700 MTOW it is equal 66678 kg, and in virtual only 60000 kg? In fact 6 tons of fuel are almost 500 kilometers of flight. http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/29681.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/29682.jpg

(Flight Simulator 2004PMDGNavdata).Unfortunatelly the FMC still doesn't work and all Airports and Fixes I enter are "not in database".Where do I have to move the navdata files in order to have the FMC working. Thanks for your help

After some flights with the 737 under Fs9 I want to share my impressions about this Product.First of all it must be said that in my opinion there was never such a sophisticated realistic addon-package for a new-released version of Microsoft FS in such a short time after release. This helps a lot because the default passenger jets in MSFS everytime are just a case for the trashbin regarding the panel part. The goodies of PMDG :- most realistic ground roll behavior I ever saw on MSFS addons without disturbing the inflight-performance (e.g. fuel consumption/climb rate)- nice choice of free liverys at no extra charge- realistic VNAV with the limitation of missing Airports (e.g.…

If the ATC tells me to fly 5000ft after departure, what is the best way to do it?Right now, I set the MCP Alt to 5000. But when the plane gets there, VNAV disconnects.

Dear all,The cause abusive VNAV disconnect because of TOC TOD calculation failure has been identified, thanks to all your supporting posts and emails. Of course, the 0 fuel predictions are a direct consequence of no TOC TOD.You are in this situation if you entered a valid FP, a valid - and reasonable - cruize alt and have no TOC TOD showing on ND and fuel predictions are 0 on PROG page, along with no alt predictions on LEGS page.I am in the process of fixing it (initial fix and initial testing done, some needed code reorganization not done yet), and after that we will go through internal and external testing. Please don't just yet ask when a patch will be produced, we wil…

HDG SEL illuminate when I'm pushing the TO/GA pushbutton.2. I recently installed the SU1 for the 737NG but whenever I attempt to select a dep. or arr. airport, I get a message saying the airport is not in the database. As well, on the init ref. page, the nav data is labeled as "Not valid". Has anyone had the same problem or know how to fix it? I tried installing the airac cycle from navdata.at but that didn't seem to work...Cheers, Joel

I have a couple of quick questions. First do you need to install the patch if you download the 737NG now? Second If I download and use on FS2002 is there any great headaches to switching over to FS-ACOF?Thank you Andrew

On three separate occasions, I have switched between radio frequencies and FS9 has aborted. I press the button to switch to newly dialed frequency, and the screen goes black. the hard drive starts 'crunching' and FS9 dies. This only happens with the 737TNG and seems to be independent of the-600 or -700 models.Anyone else seen this or have ideas? Thanks

PMDG Team great work with 737. Profile Descent could use slight work as it sometimes sticks at 300 fpm.I found what I believe to be a bug with this product as it relates to longitudinal stability. I flew with full tanks from Las Vegas to Baltimore Washington and landed with @ 6k lbs in center tank. I taxied off runway after a great rush down to catch ILS and the bird landed with no bounce in autoland. After the "After Landing" checklist complete, I began to roll toward the gate area when all of a sudden the airplane began a violent roll to the left on the ground and continue dto do this without the hope of recovery. On another flight (still LAS to BWI) at a different time…

Hi All, I have a question for the pros: I was flying along enroute to LGSA that according to the charts I have has a VOR DME approach. How does one fly that in real life? I assume you find your approach speed and the from the decend rate table interpolate to get an approximate vertical speed and when passing the FAF you set the MCP to V/S mode with the determined V/S. Is that correct? For some reason I could not get the V/S mode to work. No matter how many times I pressed the V/S button on the MCP it would not go into V/S mode. Thinking that I could master the airplane by hand, I switched off the autopilot and hand flew the approach (landed ON the runway but not to the li…

Hi,when I finished a flight, I like to load a new flightplan. But somehow that doesnt work. I cannot find any button or DEL point to enter to reset or delete the current flightplan completely. I cannot enter the name of the flightplan I have got from FSBuild 2.01 into RTE page to change to the new plan. So, any hint how to reset the FMC RTE pahe to nothing - empty status???

This might seem a little off topic, but reading the forum rules I think it's OK.I am setting up a SWA flight from Fort Lauderdale, KFLL. I notice marked stutters when viewing the 73G from spot view.I have also experienced such stutters at West Palm Beach.Miami, KMIA, close by does not suffer from this on my system. All I have altered is a Florida Landclass file.Has anyone else noticed such performance in the FLL, PBI area and are you aware of any possible fix?Thank you.

I have sent four separate requests to TRANSFER/UPGRADE my PMDG 737TNG from FS2002 to FS2004 to the PMDG registration site and I can't even get these guys to respond. Is anybody else having a problem getting their registrations transferred to FS2004?

Hi,Has anyone noticed that Vref will not appear on the primary flight display before VOR/LOC mode is engaged?Vref should appear upon selection of the landing flap setting from the FMC APPROACH page, ie. nothing to do with MCP selections. It's rather annoying if you want to do manual approaches or an autopilot NDB approach. Will this bug be fixed in a future update?Neil.

Hi, folks-A couple of questions for those 737 gurus out there:1) I can't seem to find the audio selector panel to turn off the morse code ident of navaids and ILSs. In the VC it shows up on the pedestal, but in the 2d cockpit it doesn't seem to be attached to the radio stack. Am I overlooking it?2) I sure can't figure out how to get my checklist to appear on the kneeboard- in fact, with SP1 under FS9 you'll find that even the PMDG notes don't appear. Looking at aircraft.cfg sim= isn't pointing to the same name as the specified checklist files, but I've tried every combination I can think of without any success. Any suggestions?Thanks!-Simon

Hi,I'm testing the PMDG before buy it, I'd like users opinions about the 737 sounds, mainly the engines. I found when changing the throttle the engines sound is quite the same, I can't hear huge differences in the sound in different flight situations. My only experience is from 767PIC and DF737, so I don't know if the real thing is like that. Thanks,Ulisses

Rob Randazzo has been kind enough to reset my download link twice now but something keeps scewing up, maybe someone can help me.After I paid, got my confirmation number and password, I went to the download But here's what is happening. Where I get to the download page, the word "here" is in black and the cursor arrow doesn't change into a pointing finger. The download link is also black and nothing happens when you click on it either. If the word "here" or the link are not the place you click to get the whole shin-dig going then where do you click? I tried clicking everywhere. I tried copying the link onto the "Go" bar and the got the response below:Microsoft JET Databas…

I adjust it to about 15 degrees when higher up above 10000 or so but it doesn't have any affect, the plane will still turn at 30 when a hard turn on the flightplan shows up. Did this ever get implemented or did it get lost in the fix.Adam [email protected]

this may be a question best answered by real world pilots like yourself Robert but i was wondering how often this feature is even usd in the real world by pilots give that what the FMC calculates as the TOD point is probably more often than not not when ATC would clear you to begin a descent in which case I assume you would either use LVL Change or the VSI to control your descent.
