Hello team,Question for you guys. Will the new Verstical Situation Display (VSD for short) be incorporated in a future PMDG 737? I am sure Robert and some others on the team have heard of this. It sits in the NAV display in the bottom. I believe another program had this in there software so I am pretty sure it is doable under msfs parameters.

The aim is to be able to load a previously saved aircraft status that has been saved by the user before.Such a feature would allow us so save the *exact* aircaft status, shutdown FS, and continue the flight some days later. Also, it would be easier to continue flights after an FS2002-crash.This feature is really missing in the PMDG 737. Am I the only one who would like to have it?rgds Malte

Hi all, I tried searching for this but could not find anything on this issue. I read and followed Mr. Metzinger's FMC tutorial. Absolutely a must for anyone new to this product! Great work and thank you very much for putting that together. My question is an easy one. When entering my flight into the FMC from an airport without a SID and landing at an airport without a STAR, I do not get the ACTIVATE in the lower right of the FMC as I would with entering airports with a SID or STAR. I know I am missing something easy. Any ideas??Thanks everyone, especially PMDG for a great product!Eric

Hello,let's say ATC clears me to climb to FL230. Ok so I climb to 230 using VNAV. After cruising some time at FL230, ATC reclears me to climb to FL330.So I select 33000 in the altitude window on the MCP, but the A/C still remains at FL230, of course. My question is: where is the button that I have to push in order to initiate the VNAV-climb? In 747-PS1 you have to push the altitude selector button and the VNAV climb starts. But in the 737, you cannot push the altitude selector...you can just select an alititude.I worked around this problem by turning VNAV off and on again but a think that's not the way it should be handled.So where's the magic button?Thanks!MalteP.S. coul…

Dear All:Just took my forst successful flight from San Diego to LA. 3 questions:I kept getting a FMC error message that read "Unable Crz Altitude". I couldn't get rid of it with the Clear key & when I tried, it kept changing to a message that said VNAV disconnect.Also, what does EFIS mode Nav freq disagree when I select VOR mode on my MCP mode choices.Finally, why can't I seem to get VNAV to engage during my flights. I have an active flight plan working - why won't it seem to engage?THanks all!Chris

Hi,When I program the FMC there seems to be a difference between the latitude/longitude shown in FMC vs the position in FS9 which I can check via CTRL-Z or via the Map view in FS9.Navigating with the FMC, the FMC thinks I am landing on the runway of an airport although actually I've landed in farmland. Checking the mapview also confirms that I have landed 20-80 miles away from the airport.In the screenprint you can also see another example. In the POS-page of the FMC I have entered KIAH and it shows up the latitude/longitude. This is different than the position shown at the top of the FS9 screen. Hello,Ive just purchased PMDG737 and installed it with the SU1-1 Update. Everything is just fine ecsept that my navdisplay dont corresponds with the defaulf map in FS9. Ive just flown a short flight from EKYT-EKCH on LNAV and it works just fine if the airports wasnt placed about 50km wrong. When i look at the navdisply, my possition isnt the same as on the default map????Can someone please help meout here??Thanks

I am curious what frame rates others are seeing with PMDG in FS9 and using a similar system to mine: P4 1.8 1 GB ddr ram GeForce FX 5600 256 mb. ramMy frame rates are for the birds! While they are better with MS airplanes, I seldom see rates better than 10

I'm not sure but a list with fixed/added things has not yet been released, or am I wrong?I am aware of the release date problem and that everyone would go crazy as soon as you annouce it! Hello,Well I finally got this thing installed. When I fly this aircraft using the 2D panel the panel flashes, if I use the VC or other views the panel is fine. This flashing does not happen all the time. What is causing this?. Is it possible to make the 737 autotune the ILS freq.? When flying other advanced planes, souch as various PSS planes, the freq. and ILS course tunes automatically when selecting approach and rwy in FMC.Torbjoern

I have finally reformatted my drives and I got things working pretty well. As like the rest of us I am awaiting the new upgrades (PSS, DF, ect). However, I dont have this product yet and have been eyeing it for sometime. Well, do you think I am going to been in for a hassle (however small) if I install and purchase this weekend or should I wait just a bit more and see if the SU2 materializes over the next week or two?What are your suggestions? as you folks have been following a lot more closely than I.

While the PMDG Boeing 737NG is as close to perfect as any add-on aircraft might come, it is extremely lame that the TO/GA switch is a small black screw in the MCP. In real life that screw would surely not activate anything, but it is chosen as the TO/GA switch!! It took me very long time to find it. I had never guessed that it would be one of the panel screws!PMDG, you always tell us how this and that is realism, but how can you defend that small black screw? I have many 737's fly over me (Sometimes rather I wish they never but it creates a very good ambience for Fight Sim) and I never have yet seen the small whitish light on the front of the fuselage, just forward of the wing.What aircraft does it appear on? What function does it serve> It certainly is not a landing light neither navigation. Or is it a fault with the aircraft modeling - I doubt that with PMDG in all fairness.Can anyone fill me in?Kind regards to all as allwaysfrom Nigel Smith

Two questions regarding the Speedbrake :1. I'm using a Pedestal with a Speed Brake lever defined as an axis and whenever touching this, the NG lever wildly moves up and down. This doesn't happen with other planes, so are there any ideas what could cause this ?Also I have not completely figured out the Speedbrake logic when using the "/"-key or at least I can't really correlate this with the Speedbrake operation described in the FCOM. Could anyone shine a light on this ?2. I once forgot to retract the speed brake, so it was in flight detend position in landing configuration. I just loaded up my 737 and started a flight from KATL/KORD and when I went into the fmc and went to set KATL I get a not in database.My navadata is in my FS2004 under FMCWP/navdata.Any ideas? Jeffg

I am trying to download all the files for the 737 and I have the registered version of Download accelarator as mentioned (I have a 56K modem so thought this would work best) well when I hit the dowload button it keeps going to the windows provided download save page which is so so slow.
