Hello,PMDG guys, is there a way you can make the night illumination (pax windows, logo lights), bound to a panel switch? I know it's not possible to have a working separate logo light switch (due to the limitations of Flightsim) but I've used several freeware aircraft that implement panel switch/exterior night lighting bindings. For example, with the Posky 767 Gmax model, when I flip off the panel lights switch on the overhead panel it also turns off the pax window light and tail logo lights along with the panel lights. Just wondering if the same type of thing might be possible with the 737 model.Thanks.

In fs9 in the vc when you click on certain buttons such as LOC and VNAV it doesnt reflect the change by turning the light on and off even though it has an effect.Also the master autopilot key command switch has no effect i actually have to click on the panel itself. The vc textures are also laggy at loading at certain times.P4 3.06ghz 1 gig of memory Gforce 4 ti-4600

In real life, when an altitude change is made on the MCP, this is automatical inserted into the scratch pad, in readiness to be inserted into the fmc for vnav navigation. Is this likely/possible to insert into any forthcoming releases?Grovel.... ;)

I'm wondering which should I repaint: 700_full_left.psd and 700_full_right.psd or pmdg_700_fuse_t.psd...I've tried and it seems that the 'pmdg_700_fuse_t.psd' is difficult though possible to repaint, but the 700_Full_left and right.psd's are easier to paint because of the perfectly laid out layers in Phototshop..I've noticed that most repaints that are released, are released with the pmdg_700_fuse_t.psd which doesn't appear to be layered properly in Photoshop.., unless I'm really missing something..If this is the case, whats the purpose of the other two '700_full_left.psd and 700_full_right.psd?' Hi,First off, this is a remarkable aircraft. I have definatly received my monies worth. This is the second time this has happened.Bug: The service pack seems to have lost it's "power" :) or effectivness. All of the old problems such as fuel embalance, VNAV disconnect, can't reach crz alt, and a host of small problems seems to come back all of a sudden. If I reinstall the sp1, all goes away. Again, this is the second time this has happened. Hello PMDG or anyone else who can help me. I got a little problem. Reinstalled FS9 and the PMDG 737 on my new hard drive after I have installed a new CPU and MoBo.Suprising for me: The PMDG 737 worked without having me to register it again.All systems work beside the radio stack gives me headaches.E.g. NAV1 I can dial in 113,00 / 114,00 or 117,00 but NO numbers behind the decimal. The hand with the + and - cursor appears but I cant just dial in a frequency... no way it just stays 00 after the ",".Further, where can I delete my registration? I want to register my 737 again to see if it maybe cures my problem. I went so far and deleted a folder with a long registration numb…

I have searched but cannot find what the yaw damper is used for in the PMDG. Is it for auto-coordination like in the DF737? Or is it used as an actual yaw damper? And if that is the case, what should I use it for or what does it do? I think that it is for the rudder not being able to move from wind, but i forget. Thanks.Brad Zimmer

Will SU2 offer a way to turn off the logo lights in FS9?If not, is there any other way to turn them off?

There is an issue with saving a flight plan from certain departure airports, and then reloading the RTE file using the FMC. I'm not sure if this is something due to an issue in the current navdata (using AIRAC 0310 to test), or a bug in the FMC.Steps to reproduce:* Create a simple flight plan from EGKK to EHAM with only one waypoint (NAVPI, for example) in the middle.* Check the departure airport to see that the runways/procedures are listed correctly.* Now save the flight plan using the FMC.* Clear the flight plan by deleting the destination airport, and then reload it from the file that the FMC just saved.* Note that EGKK now does not list any runways.If you do the sam…

Hello again and sorry to bother. I was able to keep my battery going long enough to learn to use the FMC by pausing the sim while I wait for my FSUIPC reg. #. Anyway, I am not seeing any departures from KSTL but can see arrivals in to KCLT. I did POS INIT to KSLT...no problem. I hit ROUTE and put KSTL from the scratchpad in to origin airport (LSK L1). This got "KSTL err 35: rwy unkonwn" in the scratchpad. Then I CLR and keyed KCLT and put that in to departing, LSK R1. Then, DEP/ARR followed by LSK L1 (Dep.). This gets 1/1 displayed in the top right, KSTL Depatures on top, and no lines (SIDs) displayed. As I mentioned above, if I go back to DEP/ARR and hit LSK R1 …

Hey guys,It seems I'm having a problem running the 2D panel with the plane. This occurs after I installed the patch for FS9 and the frames really drop down to about 10-13 FPS while if I switch to the exterior view, my frames are around 25. I've looked around for a solution but anything I try, doesn't seem to help the situation. I've tried lowering the sound quality to "low" and Mipmap to 4, done a complete reinstall of the 737NG, updated to the latest NVIDIA drivers, antialiasing, and the works. When i used the manual offered at Avsim that similates a flight from St.Louis to Charlotte i ran everything fine including the autoland but i did the same exact manual for different airports i could not finish the autoland. Is it programed like the real world it only does a full land for Category (III)runways. becuase that's the only thing i can think about. Please Help And Put Your Input. Best Regards Adib Afraj

Hi guys for quite some time i've been having a look at the PMDG 737 and i recently just got back from a vacation featuring Easyjet B737-700's i got to see the cockpit as well so naturally i need to get this now! Just a question about the product is it an option to remove the VC+cabin and go for just wingviews since my system isn't up to standard to run this fully. Hey all!I am thinking about purchasing this aircraft. Several friends have it & talk about it a bit. So, I was asking if their were any downpoints & I was told you can only use either the 2d cockpit, or the VC... but that you cannot use them together! Hi, I would like to know if I can get KSLC and KABQ into the FMC. KABQ doesn't even list as a valid entry and KSLC is missing the runways, error 36 I believe. I have the latest AIRAC 0310 installed but never have been able to get those two airports. Since I mainly fly from KPHX, those two are important short routes for me. I've been pretty resticted to KLAS for short trips. Any ideas why or how to fix this?Also, can the logo lights be turned off in 2002 or FS9? I know the switch doesn't do anything in 2002 so does that mean I can't turn it off permanently since most carriers here never use them? Thanks,Chris

First of all I love the PMDG 737, but I noticed something. I installed and got my Radeon 9600 Pro 256 MB card running. When flying the default planes with all the sliders to the right, i was getting FPS in the 50-60 range in airports like Gatwick, O'Hare, Nassau in the Bahamas and Swiss airports in the Mountains. Now when flying the PMDG, I would be lucky to get a constant frame rate in the low teens and even got 1 FPS while trying to land at KCLE. BOth products are amazing, but I just wish we could get the best of both worlds. Flying with default planes was smooth and steady with NO studders. It was amazing. But in the PMDG, i would get studders of up to about 5 …

So, from an airport with an altitude of <1000 ft to an airport with an altitude of 4227 ft.I set the pressurization panel up as follows:Flt Alt: 35000 ftLand Alt: 4250Selector: AUTOAfter takeoff, the cabin altitude began to rise as expected and stopped at 5000 ft or so.But when I descended into KSLC, I expected the system to keep the cabin pressure around 4250 ft, but it didn't; it decreased to sea level at the time I landed.
