I have the navdata.at airac database installed and working. How can I get approaches to come up when I press the DEP/ARR button? i.e. ILS 27 etc. It only shows runways. I would like it to work like the 767 PIC FMC. Can I create my own approach database or download one? Please help. Thanks in advance

Some time back I posted a problem I was having with PMDG 737 anytime I installed a livery. The problem was that I couldn't retract my gear when airborne. It only happened if I installed a livery. Some solutions were offered but no answers. This was frustrating because I couldn't fly any liveries.I have now narrowed the problem and need some help. It appears it has nothing to do with adding the liveries per se but only IF I access the aircraft cfg file. Here are some of the things I noticed.- When I first open the aircraft cfg file for, let's say the 737-600 variant, it asks me if I wish to convert the file from ANSI windows Text. I say yes. Is it possible to enter a Place Bearing and distance into the FMC to accomodate atc vectors and to more realisticly fly a plan.I know in the Dreamfleet 737 FMC you can.ThanksRandy

I have not d/l any PMDG stuff to-date because I have dialup and I am also hoping that you will patch everything and then release the entire series on a giant CD-ROM. Your latest shots of enhancements look unbelievably exciting.Are you planning to release a CD-ROM at some point, say, by the end of this year?JS

I was frustrated with FS9. Crashes to desktop from time to time, system crashes with reboots, poor frame rates with add-on aircrafts (default aircrafts are OK), endless time spend to forums in order to find a SOLUTION. So far, nothing to get me out of this misery. What helped others was no good for me. The system hi-end, P4 2,66Mhz, 1GM RAM -333, 80HDD, FX 5200 128MB nvidia 45.23 drivers, Windows Xp Pro

Will the new revised manual be released concurrently with the next update?Also, will the FMC changes allow the use of altitude constraints such as "at or above x altitude"?Thanks-Mike Smith

Hi My problem is about location of my plain's Latitude&longitue degrees. Forexample when I enter the departure point the lat and long is 4,5 degrees far from the correct point. LTBA is N40-58 E28-58 but I monitor in the posinit, N38- something. This is same all aroud the world. This problem is not occured in FS2002. I hope you can solve this problem otherwise I will have to uninstall and re-installFS2004. Maybe It works.Best RegardsOzgur

I have just purchased and installed 737ng as per instructions and the service update 1.1 and I am getting a couple of problems1/ When I try to load FS9 it comes up with a message that it cant find FS2002/Scenery/BASE/Scenery/magdec.bgl. I created this directory even though I don't have FS2002 installed and it seems to work but would prefer that it pointed to the FS9 directory2/When trying to use the load manager I am unable to change any of the settings. All figures are at zero and all the sliders are full leftI have tried re-installing but have the same problemAny suggestions to fix these problems would be appreciatedThanks Trev

I've been doing some "test flights" to improve my manual landing skills during turbulence and just had a (imho) very hard landing on RWY 16 at LSZH. I was surprised that the gear survived it... (I'm running FS9 with max. realism settings).Is structural stress simulated well in FS9? What's your experience? So, with a wave of enthusiasm I downloaded the PMDG Paint Kit. I was glad to see Photoshop files since that is my preferred image editor.My question is probably very basic but I have played with things for hours on end and still have not been able to manage.What is the difference between the 700_full_left.psd, 700_full_left.psd and the pmdg_700_fuse_t.psd.Now, I have learned that when the 700_full left and right are saved into my texture folder, they don't work. I then opened the pmdg_700_fuse_t.psd file and realized the the same layers do not exist. Painting on that file will simply cover all the windows, seams, etc.Am I missing something in Photoshop here? hello ive been trying to order your product for the past few days in the information fields i fill out the information but when i hit proceed i keep getting PLEASE ENTER AT LEAST 7 CHARACTERS IN THE BILLTO EMAIL ADDRESS FIELD even though my email definetly has more than 7 characters. I just bought a new video card (Radeon ATI 9600 Pro 256mb). I took my old one out which was a Nvidia 64 mb (its a poor card with an X at the end, cant remember exactely) and put my new one in and installed the CD. I then went to Omegacorner and downloaded a driver for the ATI. When I fly now, i see no difference whatsoever. I am getting studders that make it impossible to land, in between views it takes up to 10 seconds, no change in graphics, and lower frame rates. What should I have expected when jumping to this video card? I am running 256 RDram, but have a 512 coming next week. I have a 2.4 ghz processor. Im sure that will help. I have been flying the 737 all over the place in FS2k2. I have finally decided to add FS9 to my computer and also add the 737. When I go to create a flight I get PMDGoptions.dll error. I installed the 737 and SU1 making sure to click the FS9 boxes on the install program. Can somone help me out? I also have not put FSUIPC on for FS9 (not starting the debate on the payware) I just cannot afford it. If i just put the unregistered version will that satisfy that problem?Oh and I still have the 737 in 2k2 will not delete that for sometime to come is this a problem.Thanks for any helpAndrew

I understand from some hints dropped that there will be a large livery release with SU2.Question, will SU2 be compatible with the existing liveries that work in SU1-1? I'd hate to have to choose between flying SU2 and flying the beautiful TWA livery.Thanks! and I can't wait!

Is there a way to turn down the "harshness" of the Takeoff lights in the sim? Whenever I turn them on, the white glare is SO bright that I can't even see what's in front of me. It's hard to tell if I am even staying straight on the runway. I seem to do better when I just turn on the taxi lights. It seems to not be as "harsh" & glaring.Just wondering.ThanksChris Catalano
