James, You were 100% correct about the ARC moving with the advance of the THROTTLES like it is in PIC. The only thing that should lack behind slightly is the N1. Sorry, I jumped the gun here thinking too much in the actual N1 insted of reading what you really said. So yes there IS a issue with this here on the 737. Please forgive my aburptness in responding to you the way I did. Sometimes comparisons are indeed relevent and I should watch my emotions in this regard to read between the lines. On both, 737 2d and virtual panel the altitude display is incorrect. The selected MCP altitude of 10000 FT shows as 100 and 6000 FT show as 600 on the selected altitude bug (Magenta). Also the actual altitude misses 2 digits. My Specs:FS 2004 US Version FSUIPC 3.10, gdiplus.dll loadedWindows 98SEAMD Athlon XP 1800+Asus V8200 (Ge Force 3) with original drivers monitor display 1024 x 768 high colour 16 bit512 DDR RamDirect X 9.0bCreative SB Live! Hi guysI don't know if it has already come up and I actually feel dumb *:-* about asking, but:-How do I make the autopilot fly a track instead of a heading? I don't even know if it is possible. I know that it might sometimes be quite helpful, for example when flying an ILS approach. And I know that the "compass" on the PFD (have no idea what the correct name is) shows magnetic track and not heading...-And one other thing: is there a possibility to change from magnetic to true heading/track?As already said, I have no idea if it is possible in the real world and if yes, if it is simulated in 737TNG.Thanks already for all the answersCheers :-beerchugMartin

Simple question:How do you get to see the interior of the cabin & fuselage like the views shown on the PMDG website - they have this really cool picture of the interior showing the seats & windows inside the cabin, & you can even see the wing out the window! How can I get those views? Thanks!Chris Catalano

VinThe work you've done for SU 2 looks really impressive. Can I just refer to a question which has been asked previously to which I don't think we've had a definitive response and that is, will the problem some have had with some major gauges shown blank in the VC be corrected in SU 2.Bud

Hi,I am thinking of buying some flight planning software. Can someone give me some recommendations please. There are a couple of points I am interested in. I like to program the FMC myself, so I don't need to be able to import plans. And in FSnavigators case, I am not sure I like the integration into the simulator, doesn't it slow things down a little? ( Another DLL ).Isn't flight planning done in flight operations, rather than the cockpit? One last question. How do you know what sid/star to use for each destination? Eg. If I am flying London to Oslo ( North ) surely I don't want a SID that takes me south. Thanks Paul ( SPIM )

Hello,Just wondered if the NG 737 MCP has any kind of heading hold mode similiar to a B767? I fully understand the heading select function, just wanted to know if I could hold on a current heading other than using heading select and dialing in a course. Thank you.

Another dumb question from a dummy: :-) Inspired by Ian's trip around the world yesterday I tried to land in Innsbruck (LOWI) without using the charts. On final (with bad weather) suddenly some trees appeared through the clouds and even applying full thrust I didn't make it and crashed.;( My question is: What would be the correct procedure? Pressing TOGA or full thrust?RegardsThomas

Are there any "paintkits" available for the Fly! II 757? Or would one have to take an existing tiff file and paint over it?At this point I don't know if I'll have any intention of uploading the files to AVSIM but I understand that I'd need PMDG's permission to do so - is that correct???I'd like to play with a couple liveries to test my paint skills. Any help would be appreciated!John BauderFly! II PC, Fly! 2K PC/MACNew York, NYKLGA/[email protected]

Hi all. Everytime I start FS2002 or FS9 the PMDG's rudder in the "display aircraft" window is always turned the left. And even when I start either FS, the rudder's still turned to the left until I counter it with my control.Any help or suggestions is appreciated.Cheers,Travis WaycottBrisbane, Australia

Let me start by expressing my gartitude for the excellent product this 737 is! I haven't had such a ggod time with MSFS since PSS's A320 was released!!!I am making some progress in understanding how to live with the few inconsisytencies/limitations in the FMC and FCS logic. Regarding VNAV I would like to report something that, by tis time, should certainly have been reported by others, but I couldn't find in this message board:- When at, say, cruise, flying under VNAV, arriving to the T/D retards throttles to flight iddle and starts a descent to the new MCP alt. This is perfect, but, if for some reason I press VNAV latter during the descent, or after leveling at the newly…

i am just wondering of there's any manual that walks you through a complete flight for some reason i always found that way to be easy even for real pilots. They are always showne the way the aircraft flies before they expected to do the same. It can be very challenging to hope on to the aircraft and be expected to fly it to the (T) by reading a manual. Just My Opinion. Best Regards Adib Afraj

Well my first impression of the product is an awesom one, i really like the aircraft and it's detailed body. I am a 757/767 guy but i think i am falling in love with the Boeing 737, somthing i never knew will happen because i am not a big fan of such aircraft, especially with the drugs that we have been given by the 767PIC.Anyway my question is the regestration process. I bought the product today 10/20, and i download it all the necessary stuff for it including the update, but when i follwed the regestration process i am unable to go further then the extending of the regestration. Please Help. I don't want to do anything wrong especially with this outstanding security this…

Chaps,Just wondering whether the go-around is being looked at for SU2? Here's what I've found:1. A/P should disconnect on pressing TOGA during a single-channel approach.2. Dual channel go-around pitches up way too slowly, so by the time flaps 15 is achieved the aircraft is still descending causing the GPWS alert "Too low, flaps". Meanwhile the G/A thrust comes in causing the speed to build excessively because the aircraft is not pitching up. Same applies to the F/D pitch command in a single-channel G/A.4. First push of TOGA should give reduced G/A thrust, full G/A thrust on the second push.3. After pushing TOGA, the MCP speed window should go blank while the magenta sp…

First off PMDG, let me say that I hooked on this product and am having a blast flying it. I would like to ask if you will be adding non-virtual cabin wing views to the 800/900 release or if you plan on including them in a future 600/700 patch? Keep up the good work! Thanks,Jay

Hej,I bought your (famous) 737 NG after you had left the stupid registretion procedure.Your 737 became my most used plane in the FS2004.But now .........Everytime when I try to make a "flight", the plane rotates in the longitudinal axis to the left and explode.BEFORE I start the engines.Nearly everytime after 1 till 2 minutes when I am working with the FMC.I tried it on different airports (AddOn and Default) and with different PMDG 737 liverys. What is the prob?Jan (ESPC - sweden)P.S.I installed the SU1.1
