I know it may sound stupid and maybe I should know but I couldn't find any good info on it yet...When do you turn on anti-ice (engine/wing), especially in the PMDG737? At a given temperature or certain conditions met? I did my flights without any anti-ice on so far and never had problems but I would like to fly "realistic"... ;)ThanksDirk Rademann

I want to first thank the PMDG team for the great job you did with the 737. I paid for it but I got my money's worth and getting the support.The SU2 seems to be great and solves a many issues.I dod have a question however. A lot of comments were made about VNAV in the descent, but I didn't read anything about a problem I have with VNAV in the climb: The throttles don't go high enough during the climb, giving a very shallow climb. For exemple the green dot is at 95% but the throttles stay at 89%. I have to use lvl chg to get the power I want.Thank you for your help, look forward to the SU2 and sorry if this question has been asked before.Danny

On splash screen says it cant find Scenerymagdec.bgl I looked and it is there. I noticed another post about this but I have tried everything they tried. My problem is when the error comes up it doesn't show the whole file it is looking for just what I have above. This is sad, I bought this thing and can't get it to work. Any other suggestions? I have installed it with all the correct markers marked, I noticed that it try to install to fS9 even though I installed to FS2002, I removed that from the line so it wouldn't add another file to my fS2002. Vin, do you have a problem?let's hope that you PMDG answer my questions this time.let's resume what happenedwhile being on short final with my PMDG 737-700 the aircraft suddenly begun to tumble and to pull up into the skies.my autopilot was set to IAS 145 knots like the FMC suggested. it took me a few seconds to notice that the autopilot speed was changed. the PFD was showing 110 knots and the autopilot was following that command.like Randy already noticed, it could be an interference with my FS Meteo that was running too.it there any other idea, what could have happened?

Can someone enlighten me how to turn on the frame rate option in the top left hand corner of the main display. I'm curious to know what framerates i'm getting.TIA...

Hey guys i am sure that this had happened to just about everybody. It's when you end up pressing the (E)key on the keyboard by mistake after wanting to press the letter (W), and we are all aware of what happens the engines will tend to disconnect from each other and run at different rates. my question is: can this key be disabled in the key command section. or is there any other way to fix it or disable it. Everytime I make a change to the 737NG, ie Navdata, or even adding liveries to the plane, if I do not reboot the computer it crashes to the desktop when I load up FS9...Is this normal? Is there something I am missing? It isnt a big deal of course to reboot the computer, but it does concern me a little bit, and can be a bit tiresome...Thanks in advance.Brian A. Neuman

I am writing this to find out if there's any other way to find out the fuel requirement for a flight using another source such as a fuel planner. I see that there's a fuel chart available with the operating manual, but as weather changes and things like that I realized that it can't be used as a stong tool. so if there's anything that i am not aware of yet please let me know please.Thanks Best Regards Adib Afraj

Hi PMDG!Are you guys going to implement the 2nd ADF reciever into the NG?FS2004 models a second ADF (for the first time in MS history!) so I guess it should be possible? The real bird has two, too ;-)Regards,Mark

Hello PMDG Team,because the DF737 and PSS A320 both are not compatible with the FS2004, I'm thinking about purchasing the PMDG now as it got good test results. I read a test report in the FlightXPress magazine and studied other forums to read about other users' experiences.The point is that PMDG seems to have a hardware/software configuration based product activation which could prevent me from installing two instances on the same PC, one for FS2002 and one for FS2004 as I would like to use the airplane in both Flight Simulator versions. My question: Is this possible or does a reinstallation for the other FS version automatically invalidate the first installation?Best reg…

My pressurisation selector has three settings:Auto, Altn and MAINThis Should read MAN. Has any one else found this or is it just my bad eyesight?

Is it possible to completely 'dump' the current route programmed into the FMC when the aircraft is airborne and start over from scratch? I'd like to be able to save a flight to practice approaches and takeoffs, ect, and I am having trouble with the PMDG FMC in these instances.For example, I save an airborne flight through FS2004 on final approach. When I reset this saved flight the 737 is restarts on the saved airborne position but the FMC is 'dumped" and the route is empty. I can't program in a new route at all to get approach flap settings; the PMDG FMC will accept a destination in this circumstance but won't accept a landing runway and I cannot get approach flap…

For some reason whenever I choose the PDMG airplane then click on "Fly Now" I get this error....http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/44607.jpgand it closes FS9 afterwards. However, if I choose a different airplane, go "fly now", then change to PDMG everything works fine. Not a huge problem but kind of annoying. Anyone else experiencing this?Any ideas ?ThanksTony

This may not be the appropriate forum for this, but since the PMDG737 is the last payware product I've purchased, it was the first that came to mind...I want to express my thanks and appreciation to all the payware authors/developers of FS2002/4 aircraft/utilities (Such as PDMG, PSS, Flight1, LAGO, Reality-XP, etc...). I know that there is a continuing debate regarding payware/freeware and where this hobby is going, but I want to express my view.
