Hello,Could someone please give me a definitive absolute max range of the 737's being modeled with this sim? Would I be able to fly from Los Angeles to Hawaii with real world winds aloft?I am thinking about buying the PMDG package but just wanted to make sure I could simulate oceanic flights of this length. Los Angeles to Hawaii would be about the longest flight I would want to make and I'm just wondering if the 737s modeled in this package would be able to do that with real weather in FS2004.Thank you. I hope I am not asking too many questions!

Hello,I made a flightplan from LFMN to LFPG with FSBuild 2.1 and exported it to the PMDG-folder. In FS, when I try to use it in the FMC, a strange thing happens: I give in the departure and destination, after that the runway, 4L. OK. Now I import the flightplan via co-route and what happens?: the runway disappears and I'm not able to finish the flightplan. Other flights, made by the same procedere, works very well. Is here something wrong with the database? By the way, if I use the PSS A 330 and import the plan, there are no problems. Please help me to solve this problem.greetings Kai

Hello to everyone,I have been using the PMDG 737 for FS9 for a couple of days and I know I understand why I always shied away from advanced commercial liners add-ons....they are just too complicated for the casual user. Ok, now that my frustration is vented, here is my problem it is basically a compounded problem of many I have read about here.First the FMC...I did read (skimmed) through the tutorial and in honbesty I should spend more time with it but here is the problem: I generate a flightplan with FSbuild 1.4something, with depp and arr runways, export it to the pmdg flight plan folder and load it via co-route. Ok, here is the last of my questions (for now hee hee) before I make a final decision on buying the 737. I ask for any comments about my hardware configuration and expected performance with the PMDG aircraft. I typically run FS2004 at either 1024x768x32 with 2X Anti-aliasing or 1600x1200x32 with anti-aliasing disabled. I have Antisotropic filtering always disabled. I have Chris Willis' high FPS cloud textures, along with his FS9 weather and texture setting recommendations. I always fly with real weather. Well here goes, not to sound to stupid or anything but check out the pic below - Why is it that the display doesn't show properly. Should'nt it belined up straight up and down? Im tracking it perfectly but yet it looks sideways.Can someone explain and tell me if this can be corrected? Hi,Would someone be kind enough to provide two screenshots of the PMDG gauge files in the GAUGES folder, both in FS2002 and FS9, including the filename, date and size?My SU1 installer royally screwed up and was truncating some (not all though) of my filenames to DOS-names. I have notified the guys at PMDG. But I want to fly this baby and was thinking of manually renaming the files!Thanks in advance,

Thius morning I decided to fly a NON-FMC flight between PDX and PSC using the VOR only.On final approach to PSC I intercepted the GS/LOC about 12 miles out and every thing was smooth sailing my speed was 145kt as I was fully oaded with fuel....at 4.5 miles out and 2000 feet the GS just disconnected and the AC went in to a uncontrollable climb. It was not until I dised the AP and the AT and gained control of the AC and brought it in steep but had a nice flare out on the numbers and the CL.This is not the first time that this has happened does anyone else have this problem?????.....what can I do to correct it in the future>Thanks

Ok be nice to me. First time posting a message on this forum. I want to know if anyone else is experiencing this problem. When pushing for example the speed button on the MCP in the VC, it doesn't lite up, but it works. When I cycle to 2D, the speed button is lit and when I cycle back to VC it magically shows lit. Also, when I push the V/S button nothing happans in my VC. The readout box in red should show +,- vertical speed but doesn't. If I go to 2D everything works as it should and then cycle back to VC the red box shows the correct vertical speed readout and works fine. I really like this VC and don't want to use the 2D if at all possible. Can someone help explain thi…

Dear All:I am new to FS9. I love the PMDG 737. Simple question - is there a way to import the Flight plan I create in FS9 directly into the FMC so I don't have to type all the waypoints in by hand? Also, is there a way to have the number & letter keys on my computer keypad be pressed & have them activate their respective keys on the FMC (in other words, real typing = simulated typing in the FMC like I used to in the FLYII PMDG 757)?Thanks. Hello all,I tried to figure out how the Load Manager works. Now I know, it is supposed to set the load of the aircraft, but how and when does it set it?I usually use saved flights, thus flying from airport to airport. Now if I adjust the load with the Load Manager prior to loading a saved flight, does the simulation take the new values into account? I ask cause I think it doesn't. I just tried different load settings and the FMC always tells me the same value. Only if I change the single load value via FS9 menu (station 1) the FMC recognizes this.Does the Load Manager only works if I use it prior to creating a new flight? Does SU2 change antyhing with the visual model or other aspects besides the panel (i think the model is amazing, i know the landing lights are changed, but i cant think of anything else)? Im really looking forward to it---sounds great!

I noticed that on most STARs the FMC is pre-programed for the altitude restriction at a certain waypoint on the STAR. ex: FMC is programed for the TOPIC3 arrival. The TOPIC3 has 2 altitude restrictions. The first at DAVEL to cross at 12000 and the second at INTRO to cross at 7000. The FMC has noticed the DAVEL crossing restriction and has that programed into the FMC automatically but the INTRO crossing restriction is nowhere to be found. So my question is: Can you program the FMC with another crossing restriction for another waypoint on a particular STAR? In this situation could I program the FMC to cross INTRO at 5000 even though the FMC is not recognizing the IN…

Hello,I am contemplating purchase of the 737 package and would like to pose a few questions when you have time to answer them:(1) What is the maximum range of your modeled 737's? I would like to be able to fly nonstop from New York to London, Los Angeles to Hawaii, ect. I know the 737's are not in the range class of 757's and 767's but I would still like to be able to do some trans-oceanic flights in the sim.(2) Can I configure your 737 to have interior views without the virtual cockpit (for higher FPS) and still have the wonderfully detailed exterior model with the folding airstairs and such? Hi guys, does anyone know the correct procedure for this non-normal event? I simulated it just now and did a manual landing back on the runway I took off from, but I was wondering whether you need to start the apu up to provide additional electrical power and bleed air? And what is the recommended way of landing one of these with only one engine, manually or autopilot (assumming a decent ILS)? Any input appreciated,cheersant

Hi Robert,I was wondering if you can make the landing lights visible from the cockpit similar to the 777 in FLY II! I know they are different sims and all, but I was wondering if there is some way you guys can come as close to that as possible.
