Hi, still got problems installing a new livery. All I have is a white aircraft.Am I installing the folder correctly, in the 700ng folder I get the new folder which says "programme", inside that is "aircraft" and inside that the new easyjet stairs folder. Where exactly do I install the easyjet stairs folder, do I overwrite the existing 700 folder?Sorry to be a pain, but it is rather confusing. Doing exactly as directed has not worked so far.Thanks for your timeRegards Rowley

Hi,Yesterday, I was flying Tim's tutorial. On the long legs, I accelerated the sim rate to 8x or 16x, and suddenly the 2 engines shut down. Auto pilot and auto-throttle disconnected, alarms rang all over the place. I quickly set the sim rate back to 1x. I started to loose alt and speed, but was able to restart engines at FL 280 approximately. I reactivated AP, LNAV/VNAV and the aircraft recovered. Unfortunately, I forgot to reactivate A/T, but didn't notice that because throttle on the Joystick was set to max. I had well remarked that the plane was flying too fast, but I didn't understand why. It's only at T/D that I understood, when I saw the engines would stay at 100%. …

Hi All,I have done a search in this forum but cannot seem to find anything, just wanted to know how to place custom waypoints into the FMC ?is it something along these lines:-BNN/090/12BNN (name of sat VOR) / Bearing from station / distanceI have put the above in but it seems the FMC does not like it, or it places the waypoint 90 miles away, have i missed something important ?suggestions please !!!ThanksPHIL

Hi,I can't seem to find any of the cabin views. I installed the Southwest with winglets livery and I get the 2D flightdeck and also the VC with no problems. 1. just to check, can anyone here go to KPHX and try to access the runways for wither departure or arrival? I receive a 'fmc error' every time, this is a repeatable situation for me.2. does anyone know of a way to 'reverse' the mouse wheel operation with the 'climb/descend' wheel on the MCP panel? Currently I get the ipression that it is not quite right, IMO.

I've just installed the latest nVid 52.16, or whatever the number is, on my machine - a P2.8, Gainward Ti4600, 1 gig ram, OS XP Home. Apart from one or two fairly marginal improvements, I got myself a strange, strange problem. All is fine in daytime flight but when it gets dark and I need the cockpit lights, my mouse cursor goes berserk. It kind of pulses and flickers between cursor arrow shape and the hourglass symbol. It still works but is the devil to control. This is so wierd - don't suppose anyone else has had this experience?Bud

Here are some things I'm wondering about the upcoming update:1-Will we have a rudder and aileron trim gauge? (really useful after an engine loss...)2-What does the white index on the speed tape mean??( always appearing on TO and landing near approach speeds...)3-About the logo light... Hi all, still having the problem of adding a new livery.I am on fs 2002. I am trying to install the easyjet livery and have run the installer programme, but it installs to programme files. Is there a specific location that I need to install it to. If I tried to put it in aircraft in the 700ng folder it wanted to overwrite the old files.I am not installing any further until I can get some advice to this specifec problem as I do not want to mess up the system unnecessarily.Looking for advice suitable for a simpleton like me :-)Thanks

Hi i got the PMDG and took it for a test-flight. Luton To Amsterdam Easyjet. Using my knowledge of the DF734 i managed to program her for the flight. The flight was completely uneventful and went smoothly until landing when at 4DME final to 18R with visibility down to 3000 meters i made the decision for an automatic landing which proceeded fine until 4 miles out when the A/THR enabled N1 and full power was applied climbing above the G/S. I'm not sure what went wrong 18R is quite a long runway so i opted for a flaps 30 with VREF around 120kts and selected in the FMC also it was displayed in the MCP speed.I also tried another flight in my Easyjet from Liverpool to Luton. I have searched the forum but didnt find an answer. I want to enter several user defined waypoints, e.g. N53,4 W11,6 to fly real North Atlantic Tracks. How can I punsh those into the FMC?David P.

Hi there, I am a newcomer to changing aircraft liveries and have downloaded the easyjet livery. I ran the programme and it come up about now editing the config file.Can anyone kindly explain in simpletons language what to do, as I would love to fly in these colours.Ps, I think this add on is the greatest I have seen, thanks to all involved.

fellow pilots,is there a way to change the trim sensitivity so that the trim inputs are implemented in smaller increments. when I fly manually It is very difficult to trim the aircraft in a smooth way. One push on the trim raises or lowers the nose too high or too low. I looked at the FSUIP tab for the controls but I do not know how change this, or is it done in the Config file ?greetingsDimitri

Let's say you are flying at 200kts in cln config with the A/T engaged.Now select a speed in the IAS/MACH window, which is just 1knot above the minimum speed determined by an flashing A.The autothrottle responds, but just before reaching this speed,the magenta speed bug and the selected speed jump to considerable higher speed (+10 to +20kts).I've experienced some strange uncommanded speedbug jumps in normal flight ops as well, without ever using VNAV. Hello all,it's been 2 days now that I seem to have severe pitch/trim problems.I have used the load editor for FS2002 since I use the PMDG with FS2002 and cleared evrything up..saving the set-up as an empty aircraft.What happens is that whenever I load the plane it has the nosewheel slightly sunk in the ground. The trim on the pedestal is set to 5 for takeoff.I can taxi normally and start the take-off roll but at VR I have to pull all the way back on my yoke and it lifts off very late...using up almost 10.000 feet of runway...then when I engage the autopilot it keeps going up and down badly...I checked the trim and it's way out..all the way up.. I tried trimming nose down …

As it seems that about EVERYTHING is fixed in SU2 I don't think that I need to ask this question but I AM curios.When engaging the FD for TO, I do get HDG as a lateral mode while it should be wings level e.g. blank, NO indication.Bernt Stolle Capt CRJ
