Can someone help me with this program? I downloaded all the files, turned my firewall off, and increased my connection speed but nothing seems to work. When I run the install program it does fine until it gets to the file C:...|model.WLASVCpmdg.737-700WLASVC.mdl then it just slowes down to a crawl and never finishes installing. The files do show up in the FS2002 folder and the aircraft folder but when I launch FS2002 and go the select aircraft the aifcraft does not show up.Jeffrey B. Chapman

Help!I keep crashing back to the Windows desktop when flying any of the PMDG 737s. It typically happens suddenly, with no particular input or action. I can fly for quite some time before this happens, at random times, but it always happen, sooner or later. The longest flight so far, was apprx. 20 minutes. For several days I have tried now to complete at least one whole flight with these lovely aircraft, but no success:(. Sooner or later I get kicked back to desktop. This does not occur with any of the default aircraft. Sometimes I get a bluescreen with an errormessage, but this is not unique to 737NG, that sometimes happens with the default aircraft as well. But with the N…

Ok, good morning/afternoon. Could someone please let me know the name of the STAR in to KDCA that weaves around to protect a bunch of sissies on the ground that have sensitive ears and paintings on their walls? I'm also not sure what runway(s) it/they are associated with. Also, will the FMC know the name KDCA or do I have to call it K?Thanks so much. I have the 0310 cycle. First of all, I will never call this airport by its new name. Gee, let's name an airport after the guy who fired all the air traffic coordinators... Makes sense to me...not. Second, I'm anti-noise abatement. Let them move if they don't like it! Why they would make an approach much more dangero…

Firstly, PMDG 737 - awesome product. Well worth every penny, and that's coming from someone who in general prefers his jet fighters to his jet transports!Secondly, my question. Where is the TO/GA switch? It's probably obvious, but I can't find it! Is there a picture somewhere that diagrammatically shows what all the controls are, in the absence of a tooltip when you hover the mouse over the control. Captain Sim are excellent at these kind of diagrams to provide an example.Keep it all up!Paul...

I am new to flying the PMDG 737 (I usually fly PSS A320). Is there a freeware aircraft load manager that is compatible with FS9/COF? Has PMDG released one yet? Thanks andBlue SkiesKevin

On short final to KMHT the calm approach was interrupted by the alert tone. "Fuel" flashed up on the display. A glance at the gauges showed about 30% in each side, but the center tank had, apparently, just emptied. I switched to the overhead which, with the engines now spooling down, was lighting up with increasing problems as the generators dropped off-line. All fuel pumps were still ON, and the only anomaly I noticed was the crossfeed switch was enabled. I flipped it back and attempted a re-start - not easy with no APU running :-) I gave up the relight and barely dead-sticked it to the threshold. Two questions -- is it expected behavior for the engines to quit if the cen…

I've looked but so far no luck. Is there a way to start the PMDG 737 series on Cold & Dark when u first load the plane. Meaning engines off nothing turned on all that? Cause I know you could with the Dreamfleet 737 through the overhead panel and these two aircart have pretty much the same layout as far as the panel goes. Kevin...SAL_349[ZTL]

I am very pleased with the 737 and I am looking forward to the SU2 release but I have a strange bug.I have the 700 as my default aircraft and after starting FS and the engines I cannot arm the A/T but if I then select the 600 it works perfectly. The same thing happens if I first select the 600 and start the engines or for example change the scenery the A/T will not arm but if I then change to the 700 it works. Any ideas anybody please.

I have reviewed the forum and saw some info on the VC frame rates. Just curious if there has been given an thought and action to improvements or options for an FPS increase within the 2d setups??With my setup, it is hard to take a 1/3 - 1/2 hit on the frames even with the 2d only and turning down a lot of options accros the board.

Have two questions. 1) How do I track a VOR? Have gone through Tim's guide and feel comfortable about flying the routes and do so frequently. But, I tried to follow a go around procedure the other day which included flying to a VOR, and I could not figure out how to do it other than to pause and program it into the FMS. 2) Has anyone tried flying the CIVET4 arrival to LAX? If you program the step descent as per the arrival, you will get a VNAV disconnect. I can manually fly it by extending speed brakes and so forth, but I can not figure out how to get it to descend without disconnecting. I would think that the real plane wouldn't do this on a standard arrival to such a bu…

Found new reference material on AeroMexico's new 737-752 and I've made adjustments to the livery to suit. Changes include proper winglet graphics, proper registration on nose gear door, underwing, fuselage and tail, enhancements to the belly metal textures and other various tweeks and ticklings. For SU2 release.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/47439.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/47440.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/47441.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/47442.jpg

Hi All,This forum is one of the most active of all Vatsim forums. It shows the vast interest for PMDG aircrafts. On the flip side the forum is now crowded with a large variety of posts which could easily be re-grouped in sub-forums to add clarity. For example:-- Discussions and suggestions about upgrades -- Liveries and flight models-- Flight technicals-- Navaids, charts and terminal proceduresThis list is not exhaustive by any means.Would it make sense to create sub-forums as described above? I believe that redundant posts relating to topics already discussed could be minimized if some kind of organization by main subjects is implementedMichael

I think on the real 737s (all models), the main gear retracts flush against the underside of the fuselage and the outboard tires actually fit snugly against the airframe to serve as a seal. There are of course no main gear doors as a benefit to this design. On the PMDG 737 visual model the main gear leaves a gap around the tire edges and fuselage when fully retracted. Might freeze our hydraulic lines at CRZ alt :), not to mention how uncomfortable wheel well stowaways would be (remember that story in the news, lol). Not trying to nitpick though, the visual model is otherwise flawless and I love it. I do get a charge though mentioning something like this and one …

Finally installed PMDG 737 in FS2004 ( french vs ) with succes . Full Service Update has been installed and everything seems to work fine except maybe Trim Elevator wich is in my opinion too much sensitive . I can't remember , but I think yhat in FS2002 the Elev TRIM was more realistic . Capture altitude are also unrealistic , not smooth in my opinion ( compare to DF734.... ).Any idea ?Thanks in advanceMike737
