I'm seriously thinking about ordering the PMDG 737 NG but, I'm waiting for the SU-2 release. My question is: 'After the release of version SU-2, will I still be required to download the Original & patch(s), i.e. with the SU-1 and other patches, if any, or will I be able to download ONE file that is all inclusive of every patch that was made'? The ultimate download would be to have an 'Executable' zipped file that would do everything on autopilot, so-to-speak, and not have to endure the patch-the-patch senario which is a pain...Better yet, A "CD version" with Auto-Execute would be the quickest and best way to get up and running for the first time without the hassle of …

Where do I have to go to get Nav Data.I followed the recomendations on the thread below but there is zilch in the PMDG page a no link to where I could get this.I tried NAV DATA.com and there is nothing there either. Could you help !!Edmundo Cardenas

I just loaded the program with the new patch. When I pull up the FMC, I get a "not in Data Base" message when I type in any airport. I Loaded the file from Airac, and created the folder in FS9 PMDG. I also tried to export a file from FSNAV using the export dll. When I typed the flight plan in the CO plan line, I get "system Error". I have the new version of fscuip, unregistered. Why is my pmdg737 not working?? Please help.Getting frustrated,Elton

Now that I have all theses SID/STARS installed, how do I know which one to use & when? Do they get assigned to me from ATC in real life? Do I ask for them myself? I don't get it. How would I know to put a particular SID or STAR into my route when I am initializing the FMC - especially if ATC didn't order me to do so?Thanks Chris Catalano

I just bought the 767NG program. The instructions tell me to visit www.navdata.at and download the PMDG ALL IN ONE installer. Unfortunately, the website is under construction, and only the AIRAC 0311 is available. Is this the only NAVDATA file I need?While I'm here, I will also ask where one goes to find SIDS/STARS/Approaches for their hometown airport. Capherc

Man I'm lovin' this plane! Whew!However, there are two issues I'm having, and need some help. If these have already been chronicled here on this Forum, then forgive me for repetition. I will scan some more for instances.Well..here goes!1. When I'm issued a heading by ATC and I dial it in, airplane overshoots or undershoots and stays there...2. when i make a change to my load manager, it says that it saved it succesfully but when i open it up again then my old settings are still there. for example i tried to put more people and luggage on and it saved but when i opened it again it showed the same settings before i made the changes.why?regardslyle

Since Friday, I've managed to install new liveries and install the GPS, which I need in order to fly. hi,When ever I take off and engage the autopilot on climb out in the 737 the nose always pitches up to like 20-30 degrees and then slowly lowers back to normal. Has this been fixed in one of the earlier SUs or is it going to be fixed in SU2? It's been happening even after installing SU1-1Andrew

Started my 737NG today and for my surprising none of the displays are showing as if I had the battery switch turned off as well as all buttons of the MCP are not functioning. I've installed 737-700 textures of "Royal Air Maroc " airline The plane is awesome , but texture night looks strange . When the lights are on , we can read written on the plane " airline " wich doesn't exist on the real aircraft . The file is " PMDG7377RAM.ZIP " . Okay, from the website it says the current version is 1-1, I just want to make sure I've got the most current one. I purchased, then downloaded the full upgrade. My version in "about.." says it's version 1.01 (Patch 1). Is that the current version, or is that just the current version of the PMDG module? Second question. Failures. If you click the random box, the failures will happen whenever, but not on a timer correct? How are the failures determined? If you put them on timed version, how does that work. For example, if I put an engine failure on timed for 60 Hours, will it check for a failure at the 60 Hour point, and come up with a random failure, or will it a…

When are you supposed to select the departure runway? The FMC asks you to do it as part of the initialization process, but in reality, I never know which runway I am given until I contact Ground. Am I supposed to initialize the FMC as much as I'm able, then contact ground, get my runway, then finish with the initialization later? How doees it work in real life too?Thanks.Chris Catalano

I have installed FSUIPC v. 3.12 today and when I went to do the usual daily flight and I've noticed all the gauges besides the ones in the MCP were gone. I've reinstalled the bird and the SU1-still no gauges. I've reinstalled FS9 and the bird again and I still have the same issue. I've been using PMDG since August with no problems, I'm not sure what's wrong and I could use some assistance. Thanks in advance.Jacek Gawecki

Hello,I have a quick question. I have flown a bunch of flights with no problem using the wonderful features in the FMC. Today, I was planning a flight from KIAD to KBOS and I went to enter an airway (Specifically j225) and it said "Not in Database." Now, I haven't changed the location of my files, they all exist in the Fs9/FMCWP/NavData directory. I even looked at the text files to verify that this airway was contained in there. Just to see if it was a problem with that airway, I tried an airway that I used the previous day which I knew worked and it gave me the same error message, "Not in Database." Anyone have any ideas how all of a sudden I lost my database of airways?…

I don't post too frequently on the forum but read it several times a day to learn about this great bird. I purchased it the day it was released and fly it almost on a daily basis. Okay, I asked about the TCAS for the 600/700 and I'm satisfied with the answer, it'll be released when the 800/900 is, and will be backward compatible with the 700. GREAT!!Now, in that thread, WX radar was mentioned. Will this be available for the 600/700? I can't think of anything this plane needs (besides SU2, hehe) than a working WX radar!! i noticed that after i have flown for about 1hr, the autopilot freezes in all the models. i have to manually fly the airplane down from then until it decides to work again. if you click it then nothing happens. any suggestions?regardslyle

I have the 700 series loaded with 100 pass and about 70% fuel. It is not over the max TO weight.I could not get the thing off the ground very well, even up to 220 knots. Once I got it in the air, the nose continued to bounce up and down. The trim was set about 5. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong?Mike at RDU

PDMG Team,Firstly I'd like to start off by saying what an outstanding amount of changes you guys had to go through for the SU2, my hat goes off to you!I have been speaking with Pete Dawson recently and talking about his program (FSUIPC) and interfacing it with 737TNG. He is very keen to make it the first aircraft add-on he lists within his program for simpitters, just like he did for Project Magenta. He requires all the offsets to be made available to him, including variables like annuciators so a realistic sim could be possible.I believe this would be a great advantage to PDMG to have this feature available to those ever growing sim builders.
