Dear PMDG Team,There are two things about the panel layout you guys have expertly recreated in the 737 that I have always hoped might be possible to discuss with you.First, I'm not sure if it's just me, but the standard panel (M) the numbers on the PFD are almost impossible to read for me, and my eyesight has always been good. However, when I use the zoom (Z) panel, I love the size that it gives me, but when I am configuring the plane for landing I have no access to the flap status or any indication of the landing gear on the screens. Well I installed the way they are supposed to be in the PMDG folder sid/stars. I have them in FS2k2 but not FS9. Is there something special I am missing?Thanks for any helpAndrew

I'm not seeing any of the glass instruments in the VC, I checked thru some earlier posts and some other users had the same problem. HI,I got the B777 for FLY!2K a while back, and loved it. After upgrading my computer, I had to reinstall FLY!2K and all its addons. I had a problem with the B777. I have my original receipt, including the password #. But when I enter the download site with the password, I get an error message, advising me to return to the main PMDG page.I sent a query to the address which deals with lost downloads, but got no reply.Can you guys help?Eytan Ornstein

Can anyone check this out for me. I use CH yoke with one of the buttons mapped to the brakes on the yoke. I notice that using the landing view panel during short approach and landing that the manual brakes do not seem to work to help stop or slow on the runway. It is only after I switch to the main panel and then back again can I get them to work. At first I thought it was some conflict with the AT and autobrake system but I have run several landings with these items in various configurations. Tonight I made a short flight and used non of the autoflight or autobraking stuff (to form a baseline so to speak), but the same thing happend.I am going to go back and toggle …

Hello,I have tried to use the FMC in the 737NG but everytime I try to insert an airport code a message appears at the bottom of the FMC and it reads "NOT IN DATABASE".I have installed the NAVDATA and SID/STAR info so what could the problem be? I've recently upgraded my card to a ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB, but am still having frame rate problems with the 737NG.I've turned some of the sliders up to medium-high type settings, but at Heathrow for example, the average is only between 14 and 20fps. This is with NO AI traffic.I have a 2.5GHz Pentium 4 and 512MB RAM, and to be honest, with this set up was expecting to have alot of the sliders at very high levels.I've tried deleting the fs9.cfg file several times, but without success. Even with ALL the sliders at low, I still only get frame rates in the 35 fps region.Are there any other tips I can use to get the frame rates higher?Thanks for any help.-Phil Brown

I've been using the 737 simulation for a while in FS2002 and 2004. In the last week, when i have started up flight sim 2004 with the 737, it loads with the PFD, ND and Eng displays blank. Its like there is no power going to the cockpit. The engines are running by default. I have also noticed the standby artificial horizon has a red flag with Gyro on it. I haven't changed anything and it still works fine in FS2002. I have tried reinstalling it and adding the 2 updates, but it is still doing the same. A bit difficult for even the best pilots!(Have latest unregistered FSUIC)Greatful for any suggestionsBen RudderBorn to steer

I was recently on a flight from Heathrow to Berlin, when about 40 miles out I was forced to quit Flight Sim. I saved the flight and the flightplan in the FMC, but when I reloaded the flight, I couldn't reload the flight plan in the FMC.I've read a post regarding this, but I just wanted to make absolutely sure that starting a flight mid way through in the air, there is NO way of reloading a previosuly saved flight plan, or indeed starting a new flightplan in the FMC.If this is the case, will there be a forth coming fix in SU2 that will solve this.Thanks for any help.-Phil Brown

I would like to know whether it is possible to persuade the FS ATC controllers to let me fly a flight-planned STAR. The extensive data base used to program the FMC in the 737, as in other aircraft, seems to me to be of little use because I can seldom get to the T/D before the vectors and decent clearances begin. ATC generally flies me much further than what the STAR would entail and I am unable to use the programmed decent path at all. I generally prepare my flight plan in FS Navigator or FS Build. I then export it to FS9 (and to the 737 unless keyed into the FMC) and load it from the FS Flight Plan page. It always looks good on the FMC but, if I am flying with ATC,…

I made a terrible and costly mistake of buying this piece of software. This is way too complicated for my simple mind so I will consign it to the backup disk for a time when I have so little to do that I might RTFM.Back to the default aircraft. At least I can simply load and take off without having to spend half a lifetime reading the manual.I should have known better as I can't even programme a video recorder.

I noticed after looking on airliners net that there seems to be two versions of the main displays. One is the one I have in the PMDG and the other being a kind of purple color on the right/left side of the main display, plus is has a "chevron" instead of the vertical and horizontal pink line for a FD. I was just wondering what the difference is...manufacturer or something else??

Hi folks,I've just installed the 737-6/700 into FS9. When I first loaded the a/c, all was fine. A couple of FS sessions later, the a/c loaded with a guageless C-172 panel. I tried to load another a/c type and return to the PMDG 737 but no luck. Still had that shadow of a Cessna panel there. I then re-booted the system, loaded a DC-9 that showed its panel just fine. Loaded the 737 again and it sisplayed the DC-9 panel!! Closed FS9, re-started, loaded a 737 and the proper panel was there....HUH? OK,So I bought Lago's teramesh for Switzerland along with FlyLogic's Zurich Scenery and decided to fly there tonight from EGLL.I depart with no issues and Handfly the SID and route up to FL320, I let the AP finish it off at FL350 ;)I check the weather and it's saying real real low visibility with winds calm:LSZH 212220Z 33003KT 0200 R14/0450N R16/0650N R28/0450V0750N FG VV001 01/01 Q1015 NOSIGI plan the VOR DME approach into 28(which happens to require 5 KM visibilty at the minimum) and everything looks fine.
