I bought the PMDG 737-600/700 yesterday, installed it, registered it, and all worked well. Today I downloaded the SU1 and now when I start up FS my gauges say its an unlicensed product...I tried registrating it again with the FS menu but when I hit "Extend Registration" or "Produce Transfer Code" nothing comes up. Im pretty mad seeing as how I spent $40 on this thing and its useless. Anybody know what to do?Keith Yingling

Question for the wonderful people on this board.....today i flew KCLT-TNCM. It was a great flight with cool scenery. Anyway, TNCM doesnt have ILS. I went to NAV data and they didnt have any frequencies for that airport except a 308 NDB that I pout in the ADF. For the laning, I just lined it up using the screen that showed up from my FMC. I followed it and landed, but didnt feel like it was the proper way to do the approach. In this situation, or in all situations where there is no ILS available, how would I do the approach. There was no vectoring b/c it wasnt online and I hate using default ATC. Would Radar Contact vector me to a better position for the approach? …

And associated blue ice?http://www.santacruzsentinel.com/archive/2...ies/02local.htmBlue Ice is cool. Though I'd expect something of that nature to come out of an airbus product.___Josh LaughlinBored at work again.

I don't know if you have been following the discussion at the main forum, but it's about repaints have jagged edges when viewed from outside. Someone ugessted to look at a link where they said the solution might be to increase the mip level. I did this on the AA astrojet livery, where I increased it from mip level 1 to 11, and it worked beautifully. Now my question is, what texture names are used on the external model so I can change them. I did the fuselage as that is pretty obvious.ThanksMikkel

Sorry - newbie day here!I've just really started getting into this plane, and what a treat! I finally strayed from the tutorials to fly a short route from Manchester, NH to Reagan. Here's the route:KMHT direct HFD J42 OTT to KDCA. (I should probably be using a STAR at DCA, but one thing at a time!)After loading the plane with pax and packs, fuel 80% in center, 100% in each wing, I'm very close to max TOW. After going through the FMC pages, I hit exec on the RTE page and get an "Insufficient Fuel" message in the scratch pad. How can that be? Where might I be missing something? Thanks in advance for any info!sg

I'm having a heck of a time keeping the PMDG 737 on the centerline with any kind of x-wind component. This may in fact be a flaw in FS2004 itself though. I'm using the standard airline technique of correcting drift by crabbing into the wind component on final and then kicking out of the crab and lining up with the centerline with rudder during flare. My problem is that at touchdown the aircraft is very very difficult to maintain on centerline and skids out all over the place, ground looping like nuts. I can finally fight the aircraft back on centerline during rollout but only after a bitter conflict :) I really can't seem to maintain proper directional control un…

Hi I've read about the use of a screw for the TOGA button.I was wondering whether the large screws beneath the PFD, ND EICAS could be used as clickspots for the FMC, Radio and Throttle, and maybe under the compass for the overhead. Then put a clickspot on each of the popup panels to get rid of them.Just a thought?Terry

I am thoroughly enjoying my brand new PMDG 737 package. One small thing, when I select the Dep airport in the Dep/arr page I get a "program error" message. However, when I select the destination airport everything is fine and all the runways and stars come up.Can anyone help me solve this, so I can include sids in my routes?Lee

WOW. I got the NG product!! I am very excited to once be in the confines of Robert Randazzo and group. As I fly a glass panel in real life in the PC12, I can really appreciate this one. And on my P1.5 512 meg RDRAM, WinXP, Radeon 9700 pro machine, frame rates in 2D panel are really great, certainly no less than the 15 to 20 needed, even with the 2d gauge rate set to 20. I can't wait for the service pack #2 , where I can see my wings from the 2D cockpit (artwork edited off by me, so I am ready)!!However, I can not get the FMS to work.. all I get when trying to enter an airport to start things off is invalid entry. Is there a manual around for it? Also, I have tried to down…

I know the 2d cockpit fr are fine, and I know the virtual ones are bad, is there any plans up the road to reduce the quality further maybe, or be an option so people like me could get 20 or 25 fps in the virutal cockpit... by some method?that's with the cabin option not used (by the way, just the cabin is fine, when walking thru, fframe rates are fine!) but i can not fly in virtual cockpit mode... frmae rates are not fluid enough...Peter

I have the replacement clouds and use online weather from Jeppesen in FS9. Does anyone notice that when on the ground and it is overcast, once you start to climb out, it doesnt stay overcast. The sky becomes broken and you can see the ground. I have never been able to approach an overcast sky, climb through and have overcast sky below me. Is this because I am using the replacement (low fps) cloud textures? Are there any settings i can do to improve this? Will Active sky help? I also use FSUIPC. Same thing happens on approach. Once I get to about 1500 agl, the sky goes from broken to overcast or it will start to rain. ThanksBrad Zimmer

I have followed the tutorial correctly but I am running into a problem. It doesnt say pre flight complete. Instead it shows my POS INIT page as being incomplete. I compared my POS INIT page to the one in the tutorial and I have an extra line located at LSK 4R It says: Set IRS POS 000.00.00000.00.0 anyone know what Im supposed to do? Thanks.Keith Yingling

OK guys, here's a new one....I recently built a new computer specifically for FS2004, complete with an ATI Radeon 9600 video card. I loaded FS2004 and, following the instructions provided by Paul Gollnick of PMDG, I loaded the PMDG 737 along with the appropriate upgrade files. Everything is working fine with one exception... The last letter on the far right FMA annunciator is truncated, along with the last letter of the A/P annuciator!! For example... - "VNAV PTH" appears on the PFD as "VNAV PT"- "VNAV SPD" appears as "VNAV SP"- "ALT HOLD" appears as "ALT HOL"- When the A/P is engaged, "CMD" appears as "CM" on the PFD.Any ideas on what is going on?? Other than thi…
