I am planning on getting the 737 NG soon and have a P4 2.8 with 1 gig ram and an average of about 15 - 20 fps with FS2004. How is the 737 on framerates? (I have Ultimate Traffic and have traffic set to about 50%.) Thanks. Tom G.

GREAT shots Ryan! Those wing views on TO remind me of my flight a few months back, I almost could feel the Gs looking at them ;). I love how the A/T switch switches off on touch down all by itself! Ah the little details make all the difference.... [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-5/196432/winglets_lg.jpg

Hi, I recently bought your 737. It worked fine until I installed some repaints. After I installed them Auto-throttle wouldn't arm without ground power on, and autopilot went haywire. I can't figure out whats wrong. Thanks, Scott Johnston

Tonight, after reinstalling my FS2002 from scratch, I flew the PMDG and noticed upon final and landing that I was having trouble with what I thought was a rudder calibration on this new joystick. After finally stopping, I opened the throttle window and noticed that only my number 1 engine was responding to my inputs, even from the keyboard. It worked fine in AP. I've accidently separated the throttles before on another plane, but could figure out how I did them on the PMDG. Can I disconnect and reconnect the throttles in 2D mode, or was this a fluke? How do I reconnect them if so?Thanks,Chris

There has been quite a bit of discussion accross many of these forums dealing with the latest NAVDATA issue. I do understand that it is an update. However, why has no one discussed the use of utilizing the Jepp database already in FS9 for FMC use? It already has a complete coordinated base containing SIDS (DP), STARS, and best of all APPROACHES. I have found it to be very complete. So much so that I have actually installed a simple button on the main panel of the 737NG to bring up the default FS9 GPS. With that, I can load the flight plan and then select the runway and the approach and then manually program that into the PMDG FMS.All of this got me to thinking why a…

Just checking: nobody here managed to get it running on WIN98SE?I know the web site says XP is required, but given the amazing ingenuity of the FS community I thought I would ask the question just in case :) --Bryn

Hi all, I realise that this may be comming a bit late , But can you tell me if you have dimmed the main front light on the 737 as this is very bright when landing. I have tried an FS2004 patch to dimm the lights but it does not appear to work with the PMDG for some reason.RegardsDavid Bowen.:-)

I want to download the 737 600-700. I went to the site and saw the recommentdation for using Download Accelerator. I have a regular phone modem connection. I downloaded and installed Download Accelerator Plus but don't know what to do next. Do I connect to the internet first, then start DAP and navigate to the 737 download site through the Download Accelerator program, or do I purchase the 737, go to the download site, start the download, then open DAP? Also, how do I get to the 737 download site within the DAP program if that's what I have to do? I never used this kind of program before and am umfamiliar. Please help. Thanks.

Hi all, quick couple of questions for you experts.-How would I add a SID (aren't they called DP's now?) or STAR to the FS2004 flightplanner so that ATC knows what I'm doing and will give me guidance instead of trying to get me on course?-Last question, how can I get the FMC to coordinate with the FS flightplanner's flightplan so that the top of descent are the exact same. To clarify that question I mean, ATC will start my descent while the TOD in the FMC is maybe 10 more miles further. Also the FMC won't transition to Descent from CRZ, which is a little bit frustrating because I can't use VNAV correctly for descending.Your help is always appreciated.Thanks,A1C Jeff Smit…
