Wierdest thing happend into KIAH in Houston tonight (G. Bush Intercontinental Airport). I was given clearance to RWY 15R. When I went to select this ILS RWY in the FMC, there were NO runways available for me to choose. When I hit the usual ARR/DEP button, & selected the Arrivals part of the page, there were simply no runways to be found on the list, nor any STARS for that matter neither. Anyone know what happened? Has this happened to anyone else? Until that moment, it was a perfectly normal flight. Since I had an alternate airport (KEFD) in my flight planning, I was able to request it from ATC. Hello PMDG Team. I wanted to make a suggestion for your upcoming release. I have recently checked out the PSS airbus products which have a pretty cool feature. They incorporate water condensation on low pressure areas of the airframe (i.e. Engine inlets and off of flaps and winglets.) This as I'm sure we all have seen produces the fog effect in the engine inlet and a stream of vapor off of the wingtips or the flight control surfaces when the humidity is high and the conditions are right. Anyhow, it is perhaps the only visible indication of the aircraft's interaction with the environment. I think it would make a realistic addition. What do you think? Just my 2 cent…

this question was brought up earlier but there didnt seem to be a response that seemed to work. I have FSUIPC (newest version) and use updated weather from Jeppessen and the internet. I also use the low FPS clouds. Today with both of my flights I noticed this and it really got under my skin. On the ground at DTW the sky was overcast and there was fairly low visibility, I'd say around 2500. After takeoff I approached the overcast sky. Here is the problem, as I approach, the overcast becomes not as overcast and the clouds break. The clouds dont seem thick either. Once I get over the clouds, it becomes clear or scattered clouds. hi, i reinstalled my pmdg 737 but i am having a hard time getting the navdata. can anyone tell me where i can get it cause i went to navdata.at and its not there? also what folder do i create in flight sim for the navdata?regardslyle

Hey guys I am having a strange problem on the ILS of some airports including EGSS. When capturing the LOC and GS everything is fine but the AP does not align me correctly with the runway and i end up about 30 meters to the left or right of the runway..this has happened at a few airports....EGKK and SS more recently..am i doing something wrong?..the PFD shows i am misaligned too with the the LOC pink diamond thing to the left or right..the AP does nothing to correct this.Sorry if this has already been asked..i could not find what i wanted on the search.Thanks

On 2 occasions I have had engine 2 shut itself down in flight. The first time was when I switched the packs back on after takeoff and the second seems to have happened as the centre fuel tank emptied. I had no problems restarting the engine but I have all failures cleared and was wondering why this happened.Any ideas?ScottYBTL

What is the DH of a 737 anyhow? I know the definition, but how many feet?When you say to put the V2 speed in the MCP, how does this work when you hit TO/GA and surpass V2 before you would engage autopilot?What is the usual lighting protocol on most commercial aircraft? I see most don't use their logo lights at all, and I've seen where the landing lights should be on below 10,000 MSL, but what about the others?Thanks in advance,Chris

HiReading the above thread makes me think that some folks are not looking at the glass as half full.Look at the bright side as PMDG has NOT issued an update that states that THE DOG ATE MY HARD DRIVE PATCH DELAYED.;)As I said the glass is half full.Ted

I am having trouble getting the FMC to operate.When I try to enter the airport "KBOS" it says "not in the database" I have checked and rechecked, and the only thing I can think of is the info is in the wrong file to which the fmc reads from.If someone can help I would apreciate it as I am only a simmer and have no problem flying with IFR nav but never without it.This makes this plane useless to me as I do not know how to fly from A to B without some FMC help Thanks, Steve

I still have no clue as to what to download from AVISM to get my FMS working... I can't find anything when trying to search or navdata.at downloading will not work for me... can't PMDG website just have the stuff we need? If not, can someone tell me the exact file here to search for? thanks!

Hi all,Hope you can help me. I have just installed the 737NG and it flys like a dream in FS9. Just took it out of KSEA for a touch and go circuit to check it out. Have eencountered a problem now with trying to install the NAVDATA info. I click on the intall file and it directs me to the FS2002 FMCWP?? I have browsed in the FS9 file to find the FMCWP folder but to no avail, it is just not there. When I installed the 737 along with the SU1-1 should it have created this folder? I have also looked in the PMDG folder but it is not there either. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?Thanks very much.Si Jones

hi ,i had installed the software quiet sometime back ,around 4 to 5 days back. but had not instaled the service update....as i did not read the manual properly......yesterday i completed everything needed.......the plane works fine, this is my first aircraft with a fmc ,so i do not not how to use it, i have been through the tutorial & found some problem..........in the ident page i find below Nav Data Not Valid is written & next to the nav data on right side there is active & below that again there is not valid, when i right something in the scratchpad for the ref airport ......i get not in the database...............please help me .....what am i suppose to do…

I just installed the 737 today and the service update but all the glass instruments will not turn on, i have followed the checklists and tutorials but the pfd, etc.. will not come on. Everything else works fine but the three main glass instruments. Any help will be appreciated.

I cannot see any aircraft around mine... Have transfered the csl files to FS9 and still no cigar...Do we have to have a registered FSUIPC in order to see each other? Appreciate some help on how to solve this problem.TksMarco Oliveira

Just checked the PMDG website and couldn't connect. Maybe they are getting to the point of updating the website and getting SU2 ready to go. If so, great news!!Regards,Brad StreeterKKLS
