K Sorry guys probably an easy explanation for this but...Programmed FMC all OK try to switch AT on but it refuses to work!Is there a simple explantion why this may happen? What am I missing (apart from brain cells..)Any advice would be most appreciatedThanksAdam Moore

I read that SU2 is any day now, so here is a good reason to delay it by some more time :-)I made a flight plan using FSNavigator, and exported it to PMDG. I then load it into the FMC, Activate and Exec. I then click DEP/ARR button, and then LSK1L (DEP key). The FMC screen goes all black and displays "PROGRAM ERROR" in the bottom left.I have included a rar archive including the .fsn and the .rte files. When uploading, I said it was a zip file (because rar was not a choice) so it's referenced as a zip. You may have to change the extention to .rar to open it.Eric L.

Hi All,I was on a longish five hour flight today requiring the use of center tank fuel. As we all know when the tank runs dry, the engines flame out regardless of what fuel is in the centre tank.I can confirm I have NEVER managed to overcome this problem except by turning off the center tank fuel pumps before they read zero (usually about 10-20 kg works fine)Whilst the flight was going on in the backround though, i was so engrossed with surfing the net in another window that I didn't notice the centre tank running dry. Hi!I was browsing through some cockpit pics on www.airliners.com and I noticed that the real cockpit has a light above each FD switch on the MCP, I followed through and found some info about this light and its purpose. The purpose is to indicate which FD is "In command" The first FD switch that is flicked will illuminate its respective light showing that its in command, the second FD switch that gets flicked will not illuminate its ligjhts as its not in command. Wow, I am excited about the news that SU2 is almost ready. In reading the long list of enhancements, I did not see the Cost Index function listed. Does anyone know if Cost Index will be supported in SU2 or a future version?Mike at RDU

Every time I start with the 737 engines running & then cut the fuel flow on the throttle quadrant (so I can start fresh w/o the engines running), something wierd keeps happening. If I then try to hit CTRL E to restart the engines, the AUTO THROTTLE switch will not work any more! If I turn it to the armed position, it immediately turns itself back off. It refuses to stay on after I hit CTRL E to restart the engines. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?Thanks all.Chris Catalano

A request!Team, any chance of modifying the 737NG save facility so as to save ALL the switches in their current position.The Seat Belt/No smoking signs always default to OFF when in practice after shut down our SOP stated No smoking to be left ON.The probe heats are Always ON after a restart even theough the aircraft should be cold and dark.The barometric pressure selector always defaults to inches of mercury, I would prefer to leave it in mb/hpa.I use two monitors with the throttle and both FMC CDUs on the second monitor. i am having a tough time registering. i was not provided with the reference code and i was told to go into flight sim and get the registration number. it tells me that the registration number is longer available e.t.c. i installed the su1 update. what should i do?where exactly must the update go?regardslyle

Most of my aircrafts are not showing their paint work... If I look under FS9/Aircraft/737-400/Texture, for example, I'll see a message "Drawing Failed".As a result, my airplanes will be plain colors. Please, help.TksMarco Oliveira

I am an ex-767PIC user. I loved flying the 767, but would prefer something a little more realistic for the short 1 hour flights I fly. 737NG sounds like one of the best products around for people who like the challenge of using an FMC (or should I say the "ease" of using an FMC?)I am hearing a lot about this new SU2 thing. Hi PMDG Team!Are you planning on implementing the RNP functions of the FMC?Would make flying into "critical" aerodromes (such as EDDF) much more realistic. Especially as soon as we have the IRU's modelled!For those of you who don't know what this is, RNP stands for 'required navigation performance'. love the 737-700,but i have a prob when i take off i go into a straight up climb and then into a stall.here is a more detailed decription.ok first i start my takeoff roll ,second rotate at 120 130 knts,third push the yoke in all the way to make the plane go down but it keeps going up,fourth i start to add down trim then my nose of the plane goes down but when it goes down i go into a stall and cant recover it from stalling.thanks for the help

First off let me say this is a great product from what I have seen so far, however I have a slight problem. The course, IAS/Mach V-speed and altitude is unreadable. The digits are very blocky and morph into different looking blocks as I try and dial in the appropriate numbers. I have already tried changing my font size to 96 DPI and no luck. I have also tried changing to 16 bit color and 12, no change there either.Is there something that I'm missing? I have the latest FUICP, running windows XP, with 1.8 MHZ and 512 RAM, a 128 mb video card and "Go Flight"system.Thank you in advance,James Twomey

I seem to have solved my mouse gyration problem, so if anyone in the tech team is looking at this, they can stop. I say seem because I've only had the chance of one flight with a new config. but it did work. Given that the issue only arose with the NG I did not look closely at my basic set up for some time. However, in desparation, I took a good look at my fs9.cfg file.As we know, when any changes are made to vid cards or drivers, a new entry is made in the .cfg file. I think this is supposed to be helpful and ease the process of rolling back drivers by 'remembering' settings etc. Not sure how helpful this is; I found that by editing some of the entries, I could make…

Guess I should've changed the posting in that other thread, lol.I've got DF737, and while I like it, it doesn't run well in FS2K2 (very well, the patch didn't seem to work for me).I'm thinking I might be sold on the PMDG 737, but my question is: Should I buy now or wait for the SU2 release? If I purchase it tonite, I understand that's for the 600/700 (which is what I'm looking for) but would it be better to wait for the SU2?

i do not have the fmcwp folder in my flight sim for the 737 pack. i just bought it today. Also i am having a problem opening the 3dowload files. not the installer file but the other three. the other three do not want to open and i redowloaded it 3 times. what should i do?regardslylei am so frustrated
