Good morning gentlement,I just need a short help as I am a bit confused with various information seen here on helpfiles regading registration problems.I purchased my PMDG 737 in the early days when it went out, on July 10th 2003. I have installed it once, and deleted some days later when asked for a new licence key as I had no time to request one, and have being travelling all time. Now I would like to reinstall and fly the PMDG 737, are those the correct steps to proceed:1) Download and Run the cleaning tool to make sure that PC is clean before install2) Place the EXE file and the 3 extra base-files in a temp folder3) Run the EXE file.4) Once installed, run complete updat…

On today's flight, planner said FL370, but the plane could not climb past FL350... so that made me wonder if step climbs are implemented on SU2?

I tried working through both tutorials, but no matter what I do I cannot get the left engine to start. Right engine, no problem.I saw an earlier post that said the update should resolve the problem, so tonight I uninstalled the 737 using the uninstaller provided by PMDG. Installed verson 1, then the applied Service Update 1, and then applied the mini Service Update 1-1.No change though, the left engine still will not light.I'm pulling what's left of my very little hair out over this issue. Can any kind clue me in to what the problem might be?CheersSatchmo

I would love if anyone could make the livery for CSA 80th anniversary. I know it's for the 735, but still...I think it's the best euro livery out there today.I looked in the library, but I could only find it available for the FFX.Thanks/Mikkel

Hello SupportI had 737NG with SU1 installed and registered on my old computer in FS2002 and since then have Purchased a new computer and want to install it into FS9 on the new machine. I have downloaded the SU1-1 full (15 mb ) and have the following files in a C:TEMP_PMDGPMDG_737_THE_NEXT_GENERATION (setup file )WO2, WO3, WO4. and SU1 and SU1-1 full. I have read all the instructions from the support page of the website and have a couple of questions.1. will I have problems registering the product since I had it installed on a different machine and now want to install it on a different machine.2. Do I have to install both SU1 and SU1-1 or are all the updates included in 1-…

Firstly I will say how superb the PMDG 737NG is to "fly" in FS2004.BUT! The PMDG Boeing 737NG is a simulation right? Therefore you would expect to find some way of SAVING the "in-flight" configuration (as one can do with other aircraft in FS2004) to enable one to go about ones other lives ie going to work, sleeping, going to the pub etc.I read an earlier thread containing a rather pretentious remark from someone at PMDG saying that they hadn't included a way of saving the inflight config of the 737NG as they wanted it to be a "real as it gets" and "real pilots don't pause for breaks.." or words to that effect. That's great! But this is an ADD-ON for a Microsoft GAME not a …

Showing of those SIDS/TRANSISTIONS and perfect PFD, really have you seen anything so close to perfection? (NG that is hehe) Notice the speed bugs ARE all correct now ;) http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/48392.jpg http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/48398.jpg[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Hello,I will be purchasing the PMDG 737 NG Product here very soon, as it looks like outstanding work guys! I cant' wait to get my hands on it. However, before I do go ahead with the purchase, I just want to ask a couple quick questions.1.) I use FS on both a desktop and a laptop. Will I be able to install and use the product on both these systems? Or will the registration system not allow this? It is only these systems, and I travel often so this is something I would really enjoy.2.) Are there callouts? Such as altitude when landing, flaps, gear, etc..?Thanks so much, and again, hats off to you guys! Also looking forward to all the great work going into SU2!Sincere…

I was just wondering if the system failures will be functional with the release of SU2?I realize there are issues more important than failures in the SU2 patch. However, as you are trying to make this an all inclusive patch, even including some functions that were intended for the 800/900, I was curious if the failure system was among them.Thanks.

I purchased the 737 600 series and installation went very well. When I go to get my registration number inside of FS9 once the plane is loaded, the software tells me this is no longer necessary. So I am at a lost as to weather I have to register or not or if this process has been automated.Ronald Lefebvre

I have two problems which happen with my PMGD 700 series1. After turning on the APU, APU Generators, APU bleed, and the three ISO valves everything is OK for a short time and if I do ot get the engines started quickly the power is lost and I have to re-boot.2. If I get the engines started quickly the power stays on but the A/T will not turn on. The generators are turned on.Any suggestions?

Before it sounds like I'm picking on this a/c let me say that this is one of the best I've flown. Now onto my problem. I have FS2K2 and FS9 on my machine. In FS2k2 it runs great. Good F/R's and not a problem. I even love the way it follows the GS on approach. No nose dive. Great job PMDG.In FS9 however the panel only blanks out every once in a while. It will flicker 2 or 3 times then come back on. The outside views and the forward outside view are fine. Just the panel and all gauges. My machine.P5 2.53Ghz 533/FSB1 gig memoryGForce4 Ti 4200 128 meglatest video driverson second machine runs all other appsWide FS, WxRe, and real time.Only thing running on FS machine is FS.Than…

Although satisfying customers is "a hell of job" (believe me, I've been there!) let me tell you that the girl is fantastic; loving every minute of here. Now back to the question. The machine is full of computed possibilites but I feel the need to drive here myself WITH the help of the automated flight functions but without enabling them.Therefor my question what the possibilies are of the "magenta cross" (FD)in the PFD. Have been told that these are "command bars" but the way I see it now, both bars are always perfectly in the middle. Is there someone who can explain the functions of the FD in regard of controlling the plane yourself? Thanks and all the best with SU2!Michel

Since FS2004's ATC is not limited to one runway pair, unlike FS2002, the number of SIDs and STARs that you can effectively use has more or less exploded. In FS2002 for each route I had one FMC route with always the same SID and STAR and an ATC flight plan along the same route, including the SID and STAR bit.Since ATC now has much more choice in designating runways, making any number of ATC flight plans to include all possible SID and STAR routings is not a viable option. How do you guys handle this? Start the ATC flight plan at the beginning of the airway part of the route? Or is there a simple way to turn an FMC routing into an ATC flight plan?I would appreciate any inpu…

I would just like to tip my hat to the individual who did the sounds on the NG. They are truly phenomenal - some of the best sounds to grace my ears in all my years of flight simming. The auditory experience, in my opinion, is one of the most important aspect of creating a believable virtual environment. Sound generally plays 3rd fiddle (no pun intended!) in most expansions for FS. I was very pleased to see this level of attention to sound that PMDG put into the 37NG.Looking forward to the update.J

Hi, I want some help on landing manually. Normally I go in and use autopilot. I never do autoland, but usually do APP mode and flare and all that good stuff by myself. Yet I want to fly the plane on my own, to make it feel like i am doing something on my own, not automated. Here is what I understand. 180 speed, flaps 5 on LOC intercept. When the G/S becomes active I slow to the flap 15 speed (A/T) and put the flaps at 15. One dot above the G/S centered I lower gear. At 1000 feet, I slow to flap 30 or 40 speed and put the flaps to what I choose. At what point do I turn off autopilot? I have heard at middle marker, but in every flight in FS9, I have yet to hear or…

Hi Team,Any chance of having ice on the top of the windscreen "V" as in real life to show that the aircraft is acrueing airframe ice needing the use of wing anti-ice. I know you'll probably say that it is in SU2 :) but if not, how about it for the forthcoming upgrades 800/900 or BBJ? Mr Boeing has always been reticent to spoil the crews with unnecessary gadgets, light ice is present when the wiper bolt starts to ice up, and the windscreen "V" icing means moderate/severe airframe icing. Is it likely? Thanks anyway for considering this option.

Is it possible to use an external autopilot panel with the 737NG? I am making one, and I can't find any key commands in FSUIPC w/FS2004 that work. It works fine with all of the default aircraft and I would like to be able to use my external panel for all airplanes. If it uses different calls, are there any work-arounds? Thanks.

Hiya,Just a few questions if you don't mind!!!1) Config warning bell: Sounds continuousley when the engines are off, but is cut off when the engines are running. How do I fix this?2) 2500 callout does not play. How can I get it working?3)How can I increase the volume of the overspeed tone, I can barely hear it!Other than that it is without a doubt the best sound package. Ever. And I mean it!!!Now, Autothrust. I have read the manual and nowhere can I see any explination. Can someone tell me how the speed changes automaticaly? Alpha protection and flap retraction confuses me in particular. The speed bug seems to adjust itself when the flaps are retracted. As for alpha prote…

Hi,French (or just French speaking) customers of PMDG 737 TNG may be interestd in a complete operational manual of the aircraft. The 96 pages manual include also an FAQ and a special last part added. This one is written from 737 real pilots and pilot instructors. You'll learn about autoland, precision/non-precision approaches, take-off, flare, crosswind final approach, flight director, N1 setting, RTO, Spoilers, To/Ga, how to calculate your top of descent fix.Get your manual from http://www.freeworks.fr.st (french page of course) :)Pour les Francophones qui me lisent, je suis heureux de vous annoncer que la traduction du manuel op

What is the protocol for anti-ice? How should I know icing conditions can occur? Is anything below 32 degree fahrenheit considered icing, and how does this apply to flying where the temp is always low. Also, when using real weather (ActiveSky) in 2002, how does one go about flying a completely different approach since it's often too late to simply adjust for the runway change?I know, FS9 gives better options for contacting ATC farther out and requesting different runways, but I can't afford to pay $26.00 right now for FSUIPC to even see if the PMDG would allow good FPS in FS9. My computer is only a 1.8GHz.TIA,Chris

I have a lot a of difficulty at night-time making out the toggle switches on the current floodlit overhead panal as well as the details on the floodlit throttle quadrant. Just wondering if PMDG might consider doing backlit gauges in the future for a lot more night-time readability. Here is a photo of the real aircraft backlit overhead: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/303500/L/Thank you.
