PMDG, I was just wondering where you guys are based out of, and are all of the members of your staff in the same place when you design or create (program) new planes, and service updates and all that. Hi, Just wanted to know if the server is up at this time? It is currently 5:14 Pacific or 7:14 Central. (By the way are the times correct next to each post in this forum, because sometimes it will be like 8:00 here or central time and already I will see posts that have the next days date, or are those posts probably not in the US?)Thanks,Jeff Smith USAF

Hello,Well I got my hands on this file. Just installed it, took 18 minutes to download. When you click on the ZIP file it opens a DOS window and extracts a few files, then the window closes. I had to manually open the ZIP file and extract the two files. She did install OK, I'll have to re-install my addon aircraft because they are gone.Time to kick the tires and go for a flight, You can take you time getting me my E-mail link.ThanksMike

If you have Comcast email, and are not seeing the body of the text from the upgrade email message, click on "e-mail source" and you will see the message.Scott M.

since the server is still officially down and seeing as how i am able to access the PMDG home page, does this perhaps mean that the update has been moved onto a diffrent server with say a higher bandwith???callum

hey PMDG!I see from the website that a nw B1900 Commuter is under development! The visual model looks almost finished from what I can see in your screenshot :D. Hi,Because of your ongoing work with the server could I suggest that you "nail" a post at the top of the forum letting us know whether the server is up or down? This will alleviate some of the unnecessary banging away at your server if we check there first.Thanks,Dave (CYVR)

To all out there that are serious about entering the field, I know that the origional 737 version has faults, This exactly mirrors what happens in real ops. A good airline crew learns to adapt to a/c that have systems defered.(and most do)I guess my take on this is, If you have not mastered the origional a/c, And you are complaining that you cannot get the updated version, If you ever get into that coveted right seat this attitude will not fly with your perspective captain and chief pilot. Not to mention me, the short tempered over worked a/c mechanic that has to listen to this every day from a select few pilots where I am employed.

I have been reading through Su2 manuals and the systems operations manual seems to contain version 1.1 screenshots of the different panel components etcDoes this matter ( i guess not, but... ) - then why release it as SU2 manuals ?Not complaining - just observing ! :)Cheers

Hello,Since the downloads are offline and are being worked on, how about sending out the download link to everyone who sent you an update to their e-mail address?.I also contacted Verizon Online in regards to them filtering my mail and that may be why I did not get an E-mail from PMDG, I was told they do not filter my E-mail. So I still cannot figure out what happned to my original notification from PMDG about my SU2 download link. I have the same address when purchased, I also get my fair share of SPAM, that seems to get to me ok.I don't get it!!!Mike

When I finally get to the download link (after trying a 'few' times) the download requests password identification. What am I supposed to use here? I've tried with my Order ID and the password but DAP just restarts and refuses to download. Is this the cause of the server being to swamped or something wrong on my behalf? I really need an answer to this, as I hope to download this file soon.Sincere regards,Fredrik

Sirs,We do have access to the documentation - if not the airplane. There is a very good tutorial on how to create SIDS and STARS for SU2. There are some 1200 already created, but there are many more required.While we are waiting - if we could get a list of what actually already exists, maybe we could look at creating SID s/STARs for some of the airports that are missing. It is not difficult - as I have already prepared a SID/STAR file for one airport and it might help to pass the time rather than overload the server.In this way we could help all of our fello PMDG users.Peter

Hi all,With the current situation with the downloads, I'm sure you are looking into alternatives for future downloads, since this has turned into trying to quench the thirst of a city through a garden hose.Anyway, since mirrors, with the current one-file download is out of the question, why not have something such as a small "extractor" program downloaded off your site and then have the "package" mirrored. That way, without the extractor, you cannot open the package. Second, if it's even possible for you to do being a small operation, is to try to adopt the download scheme that *chringe* fileplanet uses - you connect and wait in line until it's your turn.
