I can see from all the "I got the file!!" posts that are now cropping up, that PMDG has fixed whatever problem was bringing their server to it's knees.Congratulations to PMDG on rising to the challenge! Well done!

Hi,I know that not everybody liked the registration mechanism that was first part of the product. I am now thinking that if we would still have had it today, the SU2 could have been distributed by mirrors, avsim etc., because the registration thing would have prevented illegal use.To speak with Johan Cruijff, a famous Dutch former soccer player, "every advantage, has a disadvantage".Perhaps a policy that is more relaxed about using the product on a second PC in combination with the registration could be considered for the upcoming versions.Good luck with the site. Hello PMDG! First, congrats on the SU2 release. I was one of the lucky ones that got it on the first day, and I've thoroughly enjoyed the flights I've done since.I have offered my web servers (I operate a web hosting company) to mirror the SU2 download, and you have quite understandably declined the offer.Since I would still like to help out in any way I can, (and since I'm going to be shunned by my Virtual Airline for posting screenshots of my flights using the default livery,) I would like to re-extend my offer of hosting resources, this time for the files that you may not need to keep as tight reigns on.So, if you have the paint kit ready, or any liveries, and are hold…

As my first official post here I want to give a great big thanks to the PMDG team for developing an excellent product! No server trouble or download difficulty can take away from the truly amazing aircraft this is. Looking forward to your future releases!

Another vote for getting the update!Average download speed for me was 350-380 KB/sec.Looks like you may have found the server gremelins. Whatever you did, it seems better.File just finished! wOOt.It looked as though it was going to time out, but it eventually just took and started. Note the above pinned thread for "server not being up until announced" (as of 17:30 EST), so your performance may vary until the "up" announcement is made.-Greg

I downloaded it, installed it fine, started up FS, set up the flight, while it was loading, Error. FS shutdown to due error in PMDGoptions.dll Anyone have this problem and know what to do?Keith Yingling

Just for Information.Managed to get a successful download here in the UKDetails; connection is Broadband - 600 MBApprox 2125 to 2128 UTC, the download started and stopped about 3 times. At that time the download rate was varying but about 37 KB.From 2128 to 2143 downloaded at the rate of 68 KB.Download was successful followed by a successful installation.I'll sleep to-night ready for a few hours flying tomorrow.Mal

well just downloaded the SU2 I will reinstall now! well after 5 days of waiting i got it with a speed of 230kbps.Nice and neat!thanx PMDG! I cant wait for the livreries to download...keep up the good work!best regards/Artur

Am I the only one having trouble locating the list of updates included in SU2 that was once at the top of this forum?Where has it migrated to?

finally i got it.uuuff!i just wanted to give you my opinion. release 1.2 compared to 1.1 in the VCCAB mode is amazing. i can fly the bird like i would be in the 2d pit only.now i am happy !!!thanks for the nice product. the customer service is still improvable. maybe when releasing the -800/-900 you can say "lessons learned"anyway, i like it. cheers

Hi All,yep I'm away on 160k service with NTL in the UK but only downloading at 18kb/sec - is that normal ? (hey what am I talking about at least its downloading, been very patient the last 3 days) !!just passed 24mbPlease please please dont reset the server now !!!!RegardsPHIL

I'm one of those who can't get on to the server cause of the overload. In the meantime, I thought I'd settle down with the manuals. Are they only part of the download itself, or can I get them somewhere else that is accessible despite the overload? Thanks. Tom

Curently am downloading SU2 its by 80% but from there its nothing!!!It doesnt download.Is the server is down?Thank you

Hi, I finnaly got through to the server just a few minutes ago. I am downloading between 13 and 15 KB/sec. This seems very slow compared to the transfer rate I have heard others talking about. Is this normal?Thanks for your time,Jase
