Hi all I recently installed SU2 and I had read that most people seem to get better frame rates than with previous versions. well I must be doing something wrong or my system is just too slow to handle this sim because with the 2D cockpit view, zero AI, sliders turned way down i am getting 6-7 fps at even the most basic airports . can anyone give me any tips on how to improve frame rates because as of now this plane is basically unflyable for me.. mt specs are Athlon 1200, 768 mb PC133 ram, ATI 64 mb card, Win XP.. also can flight plans be imported in to the FMC with the FS9 flight planner??

hey i got a email from u guys subject important update from pmdg but when u click on it there is nothing realy no link to anything?? Did su2 come out and if so how do I get it??? I tried ur site with little success.

Hi, I just downloaded SU2 and it's great. There's just one problem i found which is a rather large one. Whenever I take off the sound cuts out. Could you tell me what is wrong?Thanks, Scott Johnston

I posted on the MSFS forum about the DF and PMDG. I was a little rash about the DF734 to that one poster who disliked the PMDG, then attacked you in response. I've been a little stressed lately, as things are less than jovial on the home front. Not trying to make excuses for my behavior, I just acted out of line.Please accept my apology, and understand I don't mean to bad mouth any products or companies intentionally. I noticed that the FMS in SU2 still can't track a course centerline. Rather, the FMS flies the great circle route between waypoints and acculumates cross track error depending on the distance from the programmed waypoint. I find that LNAV course intercepts are still VERY rough unless you baby the aircraft to within at least .5 miles of the course centerline on an intercept of :)The flight dynammics model is really nice though, a lot has been accomplished here, nice pitch control especially. As suggested, using that link for the last few days I've been getting the server busy message. Hi guys,congrats on the update!I just have a couple of questions:When I perform a take-off after setting up everything, FMC etc and selecting the V speeds, I set the MCP speed to V2. For take-off I arm Fd and A/T and when I hit TO/GA the speed bug on PFD isn't updated to V2 + 20 as it used to be automatically...I have to click on the MCP speed knob to maybe raise it by one knot and then it adds 20 knots on the speed bug on the PFD.Also the Autobrakes behave strangely...I set them to RTO before take off but on 2 out of 3 take-offs the knob doesn't return in the off position automatically but I have to move it manually.And finally...but this is just a curiosity because it m…

i bought 737 NG at the beginning of december. i loaded flightsim in an attempt to get my reference code so i could register. i followed the directions exactly with no luck. i've been trying for nearly 3 weeks now and have yet been able to extract it. this is turn has prevented me from receiving SU2. any suggestions on how to get it out? thanks a lotdavid smith

Well, these PMDG guys deserve some praise. So let me start this thread with just a few things that are a great suprise and help to me;1. Anyone notice on the PMDG menu that you can select specific airports, base on runway lenght, that display on the PFD? I dont recall this in SU1. Maybe I missed it, but this single item is fantastic and the PFD just got 'kicked up a notch'.2. Control of the radical wind changes. This single issue has been around a long time now, for all developers. I dont know what PMDG did, but it is almost like it senses this developing and immediatly grabs it by the horns and slams it right in line - great work.what are your favorites??

I flew KORD-KMSP. I took off and flew myself up to 18000, then kicked on A/P. I was using FD VNAV and LNAV to that point. Everything handled like a gem. I get to my T/D and go down to 11000 to cross TWINZ, then down to 4300 to get the localizer for 12R. I had the A/P on still and APP mode set because it was very cloudy. At the outer marker i see the runway so I disengage AP and A/T. At this point the plane becomes hard to control. I could not hold it straight. It kept turning right. Very nonresponsive. I was in landing configuartion, flaps 30 speed 127. I never had this problem before. I use CH Pedals and yoke and calibrated it before the flight....and it hand…

I finally got the download; uninstalled the old version and installed the new. My system is a Dell Dimension 8200 running Windows XP Home SP 1 and FS2002. Went to the Malaga airport (LEMG) for a trial flight to Alicante (LEAL).When I set position at LEMG I got the error message on the MCDU of "Error 40, line 73". I cleared the error, set LEAL as the destination, and got the error message on the MCDU of "T1 Line 109". Decided to try a flight in the UK instead. Tried Birmingham to Southhampton. I have instaled the new version of the 737 and tryed to make a test flight LEMD(madrid barajas) to LPPT (lisbon), but in the FMC dep/arr it only exists rwy18r!! So I've downloaded and extrated the NAVDATA cycle to the root FS9 creating the FMCWP folder. Tryed again and still the only rwy available is 18r, what i'm I doing wrong?Thank'sJos

First, I do not thin SU2 has anything to do with my problem! I am simply appealing to the PMDG forum for help because you all represent the cream of the crop in terms of techno savy!I have DiretX 9b loaded and FS2004 is still not responding? Task Manager show "NOT RESPONDING" as soon as the FS9 splash screen appears! It did work a few weeks ago, but until I received the SU2 update from PMDG I have not run FS9.I tried to uninstall all programs installed after that point which FS9 was working including all FS related files and still nothing! Does this mean I need to re-install Windows?If this is the case I might as well take up another hobby because that idea is ridicules! …

Hey I have flew the SU2 a few times now on various routes and sometimes when changing the FMC to go direct to a waypoint or changing Auto Pilot settings such as VS or speed my instruments just freeze..I solve this by changing view to spot view then coming back into the cockpit..its very strange...i just get a still of the PFD and the other glass instruments..My specs are:P4 2.8GHZ 1GB DDR RAM9700 PROI have never had this prob with the PMDG before or any other aircraft.Thanks in advance!:)

I just tried to reinstall the 737, but the installer is not answering, and i have to press ctrl-alt-delete to quit it, why is this happening.OHN

HiNot having a go at any one here, just want to vent some of the anger :-(Was downloading SU2 last night with DAP on dial-up - VERY VERY SLOW!!! and had it about 90% completed. Just come to resume the download only for it it to start all over againI was really hoping to take her for a spin tonight, guess i'll have to wait since i'm not getting in at the mo.Anyhow, that over with, I can't wait for SU2 as the flight i took last night in 1.2 was fantastic - EGKK - GCTS.
