Well, i just want to congratulate you guys on a update well done. Even if i have not yet flown using the new updates, but i was able to see the increase in the frame rates from the inside, and outside of the aircraft. I Hop to see more products in the future from you guys. You have my support. My Question is that we need a Fuel Planner so we can enter correct fuel amount into the tanks. I was expecting something with this update. I guess it is not time for it yet. Will it be possible to get some kind of information on such thing, since i heard something about it before from a couple of guys including Randy.Great Work Once Again.Looking Forward for The Queen Of The Skies.Be…

Hi everyone!I just created a new "generator pop" sound which is played whenever you connect an IDG to a bus. I never liked the original sound provided by PMDG as it doesn't sound right. Here is a wave file I think sounds more like the one I heard in the full flight sim.If anyone from PMDG is listening:could you please make the sound file play when you connect ANY generator? Be it APU, external power or an IDG. The sound represents the clicking of relays, and it occurs whenever AC power is supplied to a bus tie breaker. ( I think at least) :-)And also when power is removed...It's real fun playing with the generator switches on the real a/c, so let there be the same fun her…

Hello PMDG staff,I just went to purchase the 737NG and when I got to the order page (name, addy, credit card info) I noticed it wasn't secure. (No https and encryption lock) Can you look into this? I really don't want to be on an unsecure page with my credit card info. Thanks!!Andy

I don't mean to ask redundant questions (hopefully) but the manuals state the following regarding engine start sequence and associated pneumatics: APU running with bleed air valve open shut the packs off center isolation valve open engine 1 and 2 bleed air valves open start no 2 engine start no 1 engine center isolation valve auto apu bleed valve off shut down apuThis sequence has been truncated by myself for brevity in this post of course but I'm a little confused regarding the DUAL BLEED annuciator that comes on when either engine 1 or 2 bleed valves and the APU bleed valve is open at the same time. My orginal understanding of the start sequence was that onl…

Went to VC, clicked ZFW on the VC/FMC, then when going to 2d cockpit the FMC ZFW was not updated, and clicking the button did nothing.

Hello,Just a word about MY experience with SU2:A FABULOUS Product but I was mystified about a few initial problems. It turns out they are FSUIPC related. I stopped using the latest version of FSUIPC (registered version) because it was causing problems with my SSW Airbus and my OLD PMDFG 737NG ( on FS2004). I replaced it with and older version I had (3.1.2.0) and it cleared up. When I started the SU2 version I had problems and searched the Forum and found a suggestion that I RESET the defaults in FSUIPC. VOILA - all is well. The problems were A/T and Autopilot functions.I have since returned to the present version of FSUIPC and the SU2 is OK - I don't know about the SSW Ai…

Made my first flight yesterday EHAM to KJFK. Not very realistic maybe to take a 737 across the pond, but I had great fun ! :)The plane is great ! Although 1 have 1 remark to make, and got a few questions:- The top of descent (T/O) calculated by the FMC was about 40nm away from the landing rwy. A bit short, I had to hold to lose some altitude :) I can make a screenshot of this, as it happened again on the way back.- How can I manually enter a waypoint on a nat track ? I flew NAT C from MALOT to COLOR, but I was unable to enter a coordinate like 53n020w in the route page. Probably because I have to enter it in a certain syntax or something.- How about licensing ? I reinstal…

GuysJust want to say thankyou for SU2. I've just done a quick test flight and im very impressed. I must be one of the lucky ones who managed to download it successfully earlier on this evening. I was getting 64Kb a second throughout.I was hoping for a bit of advise regarding the sound package. The engine whine sounds dont seem smooth while im increasing and/or decreasing thrust. I seem to get one level of sound pitch for a second, then it goes up a bit, then a bit more until the I have set the thrust to the desired level. It isnt smooth. Its as though it only updates every couple of seconds, similar to what would happen if the frame rate within FS was really low. However, …

I was finally able to download v 1.2 tonight. However, a strange thing happened during downloading. I received the entire file in 7 stages of 9.58Mb, having to resume the download for each of these portions until I got the complete file. After each 9.58Mb segment downloaded and before I clicked resume, I got a Download Accelerator error which said "File download of [PMDG_737_THE_NEXT_GENERATION.ZIP] was not completed successfully. Server has internal error." I used the removal tool for my v 1.1 then proceeded to run the exe file to install. All went well until I go to the actual intall window that said "Installing", however, the process hung, indicating under "Curre…

Hello,I have completed a download of the B737NG update. It is a zip file 67Mb in size. When I attempted to unzip this file, I received the message as follows: Either multipart or corrupted file. Has anyone experience this with this B737NG update and what can be done to avoid another download of X hours?Maurice

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING QUESTIONS . Your answer might just be here :-)QUESTION: I notice that there are no cockpit sounds when switching to any few other than a forward view, is this a bug? ANSWER: No, it is not a bug. Because of the way FS handles these sounds a compromise was needed. We could of had the sounds in ALL views (including spot) or limit them to the forward 2D panels only (Fs does not allow any other choices other than these 2), the forward 2D panel option was chosen. You can LOWER or turn off the cockpit sounds if you desire from the PMDG OPTIONS MENU, in game hit ALT them PMDG/STYLES. The *ticking*…

Hi all, just wanted to post a big THANK YOU to the whole PMDG-Team !I was too a little frustated the last days trying to download SU2 and decided to continue my normal life yesterday.Reading the NOTAM about the server today I just checked back the download site out of curiosity - and SU2 just flew onto my computer.Kudos PMDG

Dear PMDG team!I just downloaded SU2 and had a very short time to look at it. I did not have a time to fly it yet (I'll do this tonight), but at this first look I saw everything I missed in previous version in VC. Spoiler signalization, possibility to set Autobrakes, MCP switches iluminating and so on and I look forward for using new FMC.I realy want to say thank you for this great job you made for us, 737 "pilots".I also highly appreciate your support and the way you informed us what's happening during hard days after SU2 release. I hope that several angry people, who presented their frustration and their selfishness in this forum did not disgusted you.I also wish you gr…

First of all, I want to thank PMDG for the hard work they have done to make SU2 for us. I just finisihed my first flight with it, and everything worked perfectly fine. The new features are outstanding, and I even noticed a boost in frame rates! :) I'd also like to say my thanks for the best customer support I've ever experienced, keeping customers informed all the time about what's going on with the server when it had trouble. Good job! :)Now I have a small problem though, which I'm not sure if it's FS, 737TNG, or just my hardware. I'm using CH USB Pro Pedals for rudder and brake control, but I seem to lose the calibration information from time to time. After experimentin…

Gentleman,With SU1 when I started up the packs with APU running and ducts pressurized with APU bleed air, the duct pressure would surge down under the increased pnuematic load as you'd expect. With SU2 there doesn't seem to be any pnuematic load with pack operation. No big deal, just wondering about it. Thanks.-Bill Kingsford"The Kingsford Edge"
