I Have it, yeeeeeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.Thanks to sertver maintianance, an opertunity presented itslef and like a whippet I was there..Thanks all for your efforts. kiss mode on. kiss kiss kissy kiss kiss.Tech bit. I had 6 to 8 retries using DAP in default config using the authorisation link. DAP resumed download each time. It took about 25 mins on ADSL with a transfer rate of about 57k.MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL. Especially PMDGeeeeeeeeeeee.Nigel.

Oh thank god, I finally got the download to work! I'm sooo happy, I feel like my 11 month old son will feel on Christmas Eve! Many many thanks to PMDG for this, you guys are the best!As soon as the download is done I will fly this airplane all night long, despite that I have a student-project in genetics to present in front of a professor and Ph.D students tomorrow! Wish me luck! (flying the SU2, of course!) :D

Hey guys,Got my plane downloaded and everything. Its very nice..excellent work PMDG well worth the wait guys...I have a question though...when I am in the 600/700 main 2D cockpit i get this annoying noise that almost sounds like a helicopter engine. Is anyone else having this problem or am I just not doing something right on the cockpit? I dont get the sound in spotplane, virtual cockpit, or in tower...just in 2D...any suggestions?

Thanks for the v1.2 update.Using a 512K cable modem I got 65-68K download speed. During download it was paused twice - server reset.DAP resumed once server came back online.After the second pause the download speed increased to 75K.This was between 21:30 and 21:50z.I hope that this info is some help to you.The server seemed very stable in it's operation.

Finally got the file....I was just praying they wouldn't shut down the server when I was so close. Now's it off to see how it flies. Good luck to everyone. Kevin

Does anyone have a mirror to the latest sid/star database mentioned on the front page? Do we need this download for su2? I got my su2 download, but the main page is being hit hard and I can't download this file. Thanks in advance,

I finally got it downloaded. Can't stick around to talk,got to go fly the best plane there is for the flight sim.

Well, I finally got on the server to download SU2. :D The download was screaming fast when it first started, but it's steadily slowing down. I think I connected right after a server reboot based on the messages I was seeing before the refresh in which I could connect. I hope that I get it all before the next one. :) I will post back my thoughts after I take a flight, assuming that I get the entire download before the server health problem catches up with me. :)-Shaun

Aghhhhhhhhhhh! I just downloaded SU2 FINALY after 3 days of waiting.Everything went so well, I went to the university library, logged in, opened my emails, hit the link and guess what, it starts to download. I was so happy, it took 5 minutes. So its saved onto my user space, now all I need to do is burn it onto a CD and run back home to put it on my own PC (which doesn't have internet access). Splendid. guess what? THE COMPUTER DOESN'T HAVE A CD BURNER!!! I'll have to wait until tomorow now in order to go to the main library when it opens. I go to do something else, and come back to the forum to see if there is an update, sure enough. But by the time I see it the server is to busy. Bummer. Also, I am one of the people that had changed my e-mail address. I had the original e-mail, and that what I'm trying to get online with. Is this right? Does the old e-mail still work?

Okay, I've had enough fun to last me a while. I'm giving up on getting SU2 untile next week. I'm not going to visit the forum or even fly the 737NG 1.1 I don't even want to think about it again for a while. I've never had such a painful experience trying to download something. PMDG hopefully in the next week you will get your server problems squared away for good. As much as I love your aircraft this just isn't worth it and if these conditions exist on your next release, I'll pass. See you all next week. and good luck.William

I've had SU2 on a few flights and seen a few wierd things happen.* On a flight from ENHD to ENBR I was loaded up with zero payload and 9000lbs fuel (1k/7k/1k) and the FMC refused to calculate the available fuel for the last few legs of the flight plan. For those familiar with the area, the route was RWY32 -> LUCKY4 STAR, basically clim right out and turn onto the STAR at 15000ft, and descend through the star and a nice ILS. It showed 8.2k lbs fuel left at LUCKY and then 0.0 for the remainder legs for some reason. Reserves set to 3k lbs.* On a flight from ENBR to ENAL I had loaded zero payload and 14k fuel (2k/10k/2k) and set up a fairly straight forward trip was planne…

PMDG said they would supply one at release, but I can not find it. I did read the one that they posted about a month ago, just curious as to what the final one looks like.Can you post here?
